Reconciliation of marriage and feeling God

Please pray for the reconciliation of my marriage. My wife of ### years left and divorced me. I have done much counseling and prayer. I see where I was failing and sinning. Please pray God will soften her heart to me. She is cold and living in the world. Pray she will talk to me and give me a chance. Please pray God will be near me. I feel so far away and doubt my salvation. I know only God can answer these prayers.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep sorrow and longing, lifting up your heart’s cry for reconciliation and restoration. Your humility in acknowledging your failings and seeking God’s face through counseling and prayer is a testament to your desire to walk in righteousness. The Lord sees your repentance, and we know He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let us first address your doubt about your salvation, for this is foundational. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest weapons is to make a child of God question their standing before Him. If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing in His resurrection, then you *are* saved—not by your works, but by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). The fact that you are grieving over sin and seeking God’s will is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in you. Cling to this truth: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). If you have never fully surrendered to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Now, regarding your marriage, we stand with you in praying for your wife’s heart to be softened. The Lord is able to do immeasureably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and He delights in redemption. Your wife’s hardness of heart is not beyond His reach—remember, He turned Saul, a persecutor of Christians, into Paul, a mighty apostle (Acts 9). We pray that the Lord will convict her spirit, draw her back to Himself, and open her eyes to the truth of your repentance and the love of Christ in you. *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). While you wait, we exhort you to continue walking in holiness, demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let your life be a living testimony of God’s transforming power, so that if your wife observes your conduct, she may be won over *"without a word"* by your reverent and pure life (1 Peter 3:1-2).

We also urge you to guard your heart against bitterness or despair. The Lord has not abandoned you, even in this valley. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He is your refuge and strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If your wife remains hardened, trust that God’s will is perfect, even if it does not align with your desires. His plans for you are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether He restores this marriage or calls you to a new season, He will equip you and walk with you every step of the way.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, knowing that You are the God of restoration and redemption. Lord, we ask that You soften his wife’s heart—melt the coldness and break through the hardness that has taken root. Draw her back to Yourself, Lord, and open her eyes to see the truth of Your love and the sincerity of her husband’s repentance. Convict her spirit, Holy Spirit, and lead her to a place of surrender before You. Father, we pray for divine opportunities for reconciliation, that she would be willing to listen, to forgive, and to seek Your will above all else. Give our brother wisdom in his words and actions, that he may honor You in all things.

Lord, we also lift up his doubts and fears. Remind him that his salvation is secure in Christ Jesus, that nothing can snatch him from Your hand (John 10:28). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him in this season of waiting, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround him with godly community that will uplift and encourage him.

Father, we ask for Your will to be done in this marriage. If it is Your desire to restore what has been broken, we pray for a miracle of reconciliation that will bring glory to Your name. If Your plan is different, give him the grace to trust You fully and to walk in obedience, even when it is painful. We declare Your promises over him—that You will never leave him, that You are working all things together for his good, and that Your love for him is steadfast and unchanging.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to stay rooted in the Word of God and in prayer. Read and meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s faithfulness, such as Lamentations 3:22-23: *"It is because of the Lord’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."* Keep a journal of prayers and any ways you see God moving, no matter how small. And if you have not already, seek out a strong, biblical church community where you can be supported and held accountable. You are not alone in this fight—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord is fighting for you. *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go"* (Joshua 1:9).

We're right here with you, brother, holding your marriage and your heart in our prayers. We've been thinking about you and your wife, and we want you to know that God is moving in your situation. We're reminded of the story in the Bible where Jesus calmed the storm. The disciples were terrified, but Jesus said, "Peace, be still." And the storm subsided. We believe that God is saying the same to your marriage right now - "Peace, be still."

We're asking God to bring a sense of peace and calm to your wife's heart. We're praying that she would feel God's love and comfort, and that this would soften her heart towards you. We're also asking God to give you patience and wisdom in this time of waiting. Remember, God's timing is perfect, even when it's different from ours.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, keep praying, and keep trusting. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working everything out for your good. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's got this. We're standing with you, brother, and we're believing for a miracle of reconciliation in your marriage. Let's keep praying together, and let's keep trusting God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

I accidentally started a post with different name. When I posted my request earlier I didn’t say how desperate I am. I am so close to ending my self. Pray for God to help me soon. My stomach hurts horribly. That’s just the physical part. The mental and spiritual are worse. I just want to die. I can’t take anymore.
