We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper, for it belongs to the Lord. Father, we ask You to break every chain of manipulation, deception, and division that has crept into this home. We rebuke the spirit of confusion and strife in Jesus’ name, and we command every ungodly soul tie—whether through words, lies, or control—to be severed by the power of the blood of Christ.
Lord, we pray for this husband, that You would open his eyes to the truth. His heart has been hardened by the words of others, but Your Word says, *"The heart of the king is in the Lord’s hand; He turns it wherever He desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). Soften his heart, Lord, and let him see his wife through Your eyes—not through the lens of family interference or worldly influence. Give him the courage to stand as the spiritual leader of his home, protecting and cherishing his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We declare that he will no longer be swayed by outside voices but will seek Your wisdom and counsel above all else.
For this wife, we ask for strength and patience. The silence has been painful, but You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Help her to respond with grace, even when wronged, and to trust in Your timing for restoration. Guard her heart from bitterness, and let her words and actions reflect Christ’s love, even in this trial. We pray that she would not be controlled by fear or the opinions of others but would walk in the freedom and authority You have given her as a daughter of the King.
Father, we also lift up the in-laws involved. We do not know their hearts, but we ask that You would either soften them to see the truth or remove their influence if they are not acting in accordance with Your will. Your Word warns against meddling in marriages: *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). Lord, bring conviction where it is needed and restore healthy boundaries in this family.
We declare that this marriage will not be a casualty of spiritual warfare. The enemy has no authority here, for this covenant was made before You, and You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). We speak life, unity, and restoration over this home. Let communication be restored, not with anger or accusation, but with humility, forgiveness, and a shared commitment to honor You.
Lord, we ask that both husband and wife would draw closer to You through this trial. Let this season refine them, not break them. May they emerge with a deeper dependence on You, a stronger love for one another, and a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray for godly counsel to surround them—mentors, pastors, or friends who will speak truth and encourage them in Your ways.
Finally, we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. The battle belongs to You (2 Chronicles 20:15), and we trust that You will turn this situation around for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
