Recertification Exam

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that my daughter can have faith and believe she can pass her Behavioral Technician recertification exam. She is retaking it and getting very discouraged. Please pray that she will pass it. I, her Mom, am standing in prayer with her. Thank you

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up your daughter as she prepares to retake her ### recertification exam. Father God, we know that You are the giver of wisdom, strength, and peace, and we ask that You would fill her with these gifts as she studies and takes this test. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Lord, remind her that her confidence does not come from her own abilities alone, but from You who equips and sustains her.

We also pray against the spirit of discouragement that has been weighing on her heart. In Joshua 1:9, You command us, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Father, let these words sink deep into her spirit. Replace her fear and doubt with Your perfect peace, and let her trust in Your promise that You will never leave her nor forsake her.

Lord, we ask that You would grant her clarity of mind, retention of the material she has studied, and the ability to recall it with ease when she sits for this exam. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and we speak success over her in this endeavor. May she walk into that testing room with the assurance that You are with her, guiding her every step.

We also want to encourage her to lean on You in prayer throughout this process. The Bible tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, let her bring her anxieties, her questions, and her fears to You, knowing that You hear and answer the prayers of Your children.

Finally, we pray that this experience would draw her closer to You. May she see Your faithfulness in her life and grow in her dependence on You, not just for this exam, but for every challenge she faces. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory You have already prepared for her. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To your daughter, we say this: Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). This exam is just one step in your journey, and God has already gone before you to prepare the way. Keep your eyes on Him, study diligently, and trust that He will see you through. You are not alone, your family, your brothers and sisters in Christ, and most importantly, the Lord Himself are standing with you. Press on, and may God’s peace guard your heart and mind as you prepare.

We join you in this, Mom. It’s hard to watch your daughter struggle with discouragement after putting in the work and still facing a retake. That kind of repeated pressure can wear down even the strongest resolve, so your steady presence in prayer matters more than you know.

When anxiety about an exam starts to spiral, our minds can convince us that everything depends on getting it right the next time, that our worth or future hangs on one test. That belief, more than any gap in knowledge, can paralyze us. The real battle is often not with the material, but with the fear that we’re not enough. Your daughter isn’t facing this alone, though. You are praying, and we are praying, and that spiritual reality can lift some of the weight off her shoulders. Just knowing that other people are asking God to steady her mind and calm her heart can be a quiet anchor when panic begins to rise.

If it feels right, you might gently remind her that her value isn’t being measured by this exam. She already does meaningful work as a behavioral technician. That gift and calling remain, regardless of a certification score. When she sits down to take it again, she can take a deep breath and silently offer the outcome to God, not as a demand for a pass, but as a release of her fears. He sees her effort, her heart, and her desire to serve others well.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this daughter to You now. You know the discouragement that has crept in and the anxious thoughts that threaten her confidence. Quiet her spirit and clear her mind so she can recall what she has studied. Surround her with a sense of Your presence that is bigger than any test score. Give her peace, not just for the exam, but deep in her soul. And bless this mother’s faithful love as she stands beside her. We trust You with both of them, in Your strong name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The certain fact that God hears prayer is more thoroughly demonstrated in the experience of His people than any proposition of mathematics. Let this anchor your soul as you stand with your daughter. You must not sit down in despair because an answer has not yet been perceived by the senses. Continue to cry unto the Lord. Faith, even when it be little, knows where her strength lies; when she finds herself sinking, she betakes herself to prayer, crying, "Lord, save me." Persist in this holy exercise, for He will, He must hear you by-and-by, and you shall have your heart's desire.

Speak freely in prayer to God; be not hampered in your pleading, but open your mouth wide, and He will fill it. Pray in order to get liberty, and do not leave the Mercy Seat until you have it. Your daughter's discouragement is a snare, a heavy clog upon the soul that confuses the mind for pleading. A heart clogged with care is like a man trying to swim with heavy clothes upon him; he must get them off. Cast this burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you both.

Let your daughter see that her main business is not with the answer to this exam, but with her answer to God's call. Faith must be fixed not on the passing of a test, but on Him who is the Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. If she believes that He is, and that He is a Rewarder, it is possible to please Him. Let her not seek to establish a righteousness of her own, nor draw her peace from a certificate, but let her peace come from coming to God through Jesus Christ. For without faith it is impossible to please God, but with faith, the weakest faith that even dares to pray, "Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief," she pleases Him mightily.

Be prepared that the answer may come in an unexpected way, as it did for Jacob. Before the full deliverance, there may be a wrestling, for the Lord often deepens the work of faith through trial. Yet go and plead the promise of His faithfulness, and the Lord do unto you according to your faith. Here let us not be weary. Never rest from prayer because you are weary of it; when prayer becomes distasteful, it is a loud call to pray all the more. The heavenly rain does not always come with the first rising of the cloud from the sea, but faith continues to hear the sound of Jehovah's goings. Even so, continue in prayer, believing that the Holy Spirit can quicken and strengthen the mind. All things are possible to him that believes.

Do not let your daughter measure God’s love by a passing score, nor let discouragement become her teacher. Faith is precisely the virtue that rises above what the eyes can see and the heart can feel in its weariness. When the woman with the issue of blood crept behind the Lord, she was not full of bold confidence, she was trembling and afraid. Yet He called her "daughter" and said, "Thy faith hath made thee whole." Her faith was not a feeling of certainty but an act of desperate trust that reached for the hem of His garment despite her long disappointment.

Your daughter is retaking this exam, and the memory of failure lies heavy upon her. But consider Enoch, who walked with God in a world that had seen righteous Abel slain and unavenged. Enoch did not say, "What use is it to honor God if this is the reward?" He looked beyond what was seen and believed that God is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Your daughter now stands at that same crossroads. The visible facts say she has failed before. The world's wisdom says her discouragement is reasonable. But faith needs a generous and vigorous soul, one that rises above human reasonings and past defeats.

Let her approach this examination not as a trial of her knowledge alone, but as an exercise of holy trust. If she can say in her heart, "Whether I pass or fail, I will not let go of Christ's hem," then she has already gained something greater than any certification. The Canaanite mother would not be turned away, even when the Lord Himself seemed to refuse her. And what did He say? "Great is thy faith. Be it unto thee even as thou wilt." The power was in the faith that persisted through every discouraging word.

Pray then, not merely that she pass, but that she may have a faith that looks beyond this exam to the God who works all things for good. Stand with her as that mother stood, refusing to be silenced. Let your own prayers be the golden chain of mercy about her neck. And remind her that the Lord is near, nearer than the anxiety, nearer than the memory of failure. If He grants her success, let it be a testimony to His kindness. If He grants her delay, let it be a furnace to refine her trust. In either case, let her not forsake mercy and truth, binding them about her heart, so that her soul becomes beautiful with the ornament of patience. The recompense is certain, even when it is hidden from our sight.

It is hard to see your child struggling and discouraged, especially when she has already faced this exam once. The weight of a retake can feel like a verdict on her ability and on her faith, as though passing would mean she trusted God enough and failing would prove her faith lacking. But that is not the shape faith takes in Scripture. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of what we cannot yet see. It holds onto God’s goodness and power even when the outcome is uncertain. That kind of trust does not mean your daughter will never feel doubt, fear, or the sting of disappointment. It means she can bring those very things to the One who welcomes the weary and the fragile in faith.

Think of Abraham, the one held up as the father of those who believe. His life was full of great triumphs of faith, yet also marked by lapses when fear caused him to deceive others. Twice he tried to protect himself by half-truths instead of resting in God’s promise. If we only saw those moments, we might define him by his failure. But God saw a man of faith developing over time, even through his stumbles. The New Testament never mentions Abraham’s failures, only his faith. God chooses to remember the trust, not the lapses, and He uses imperfect people to accomplish His purposes. Your daughter does not need a flawless faith. A little faith, even a trembling faith placed in a great God, is honored.

The trying of our faith, the proving of it, is never for God’s benefit. He knows us fully. The test is for us, to show us the genuineness of our reliance on Him and to deepen it. Your daughter’s discouragement right now is not a sign that her faith has failed; it is an invitation to look beyond what she can see. The man of faith actually sees much more than the man without faith, because he sees the unseen reality of a God who works in all things. Whether she passes or not, He is with her and for her. His acceptance of her is not measured by a certification score. He accounts her righteous through simple trust in Jesus, just as He did for Abraham.

I also want to encourage you, the mother standing with her. When Jesus healed the paralyzed man, the text says He saw their faith, the faith of the friends who carried him. Later, He responded to the desperate ruler whose daughter had died, telling him only to believe. Sometimes God works through the faith of those who carry another person to Him in prayer. Your steadfast intercession matters. Keep bringing your daughter to the throne, not only asking for a passing score but for her heart to be steadied and hopeful.

Pray with her, and ask God to replace the paralyzing fear with a quiet confidence that He holds the outcome. Then she can prepare diligently, not trying to earn a result by anxiety, but simply doing what is in her power while leaving the rest in His hands. Faith and works run together: a true faith shows itself in action, like the labor of study and the calmness of a heart that trusts God’s control. Even if the result is not what you both hope for, that does not mean faith was absent. Many who pleased God suffered, endured, and faced setbacks, yet their faith was still precious in His sight.

You are not alone in this. The two of you, mother and daughter, are not clinging to a blind hope but to a living God who sees, who cares, and who has a long track record of working through imperfect people who simply keep looking to Him. I will be praying with you.
