Recently I got lied about and attacked on here for telling the truth. I just want to make it perfectly clear that when I give someone a warning about something it is always done in good faith. I also want to make it perfectly clear that I did not become a believer just yesterday and was not brought up in a church nor did I convert due to some TV program or internet since the internet never existed when I was a kid.
If someone can't take the warning in good faith then so be it but I don't tolerate being lied about and abused either. Actually what anyone believes is their business and it's really none of mine but I hate to see anyone deceived and that is why I may give such warnings from time to time. The warning is meant for anyone who wants to consider it. Others can leave it if they can't accept it.
Just to show you that there are many people out there that take advantage of people who are desperate for help, miracles, fellowship, or whatever there is a documentary of a con on youtube that very clearly mimicks a lot of these TV evangelists.
I'm sorry but when you watch some of these evangelists and see how they are very charismatic and don't act normal but put on a show of sorts with signs and wonders why do you think they do that? That's because that's what people want to see. They are willing to make fools of themselves just to give people what they want to see in exchange for money as per partner support, buying books, tapes, etc.
In fact I posted a previous video of a preacher selling a book predicting a prophecy that didn't come true and a customer asking for a refund. That should send up some red flags surely but yet people still choose to live in denial for whatever reason.
My point is don't be so desperate that you fall for anything because that is what you want to believe. If you're really that desperate then seek God out himself in prayer through Jesus Christ and read the scriptures. If you're depressed read the Psalms because they were written by David and he struggled with depression so he knows what it's like. If you lack wisdom read Proverbs because lots of wisdom is contained therein. If you just want to be entertained and deceived then just keep watching and falling for these TV cons that just want to lighten your pocket book and destroy your faith.
