For my daughter's application to medical school she needs 3 closed recommendation letters from her professors. They had agreed to but they seem to have gone silent suddenly and the deadline is near. Please pray for them all to send in their testimonials today. That however busy they are today God will cause them to remember to write and send it in today. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this urgent need for your daughter’s medical school application. Father, we know that You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You move mightily in the hearts of these professors who have committed to writing these recommendation letters. Lord, we pray that even in the midst of their busyness, You would bring this task to the forefront of their minds today. Stir their memories, grant them clarity, and provide the time and focus they need to complete and send these letters before the deadline.

We declare that the spirit of procrastination and forgetfulness will have no place in this situation. Instead, let Your peace and divine prompting guide them to fulfill their promise. We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord, and we believe that You are working even now to open doors for your daughter’s future. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every obstacle to be removed and for these letters to be sent today. Let us spread this matter before the throne at once. It is a small thing for the Lord to turn the thoughts of these professors in the midst of their business. He who made the ravens bring bread to Elijah can surely bring three letters to their appointed place today. I join my prayer with yours that, however pressed they may be, God would cause them to remember, to write, and to send their testimonials before the day closes.

Bid your daughter wait upon God with quiet confidence. He has not left the ordering of her life to chance, nor to the forgetfulness of men. Commit this application to Him, for He careth for you. If He chooses to make this door to open, no silent professor can shut it; and if He allows delay, it will be for the trial of faith and the perfecting of patience. Pray for the letters, yes, but let the soul rest in the Lord more than in the letters.

O Lord, Thou knowest the need and the nearness of the deadline. Put it into the hearts of these professors this very day to write and send the recommendations. The Lord knows the deadline, and He is able to move the hearts of busy professors even in a single day. Let us ask Him to cause each one to remember the promise, to find a clear hour, and to write and send the testimonials before this day ends.

Yet while we ask for these earthly letters, remember that no human letter is the final word over your daughter’s life. The Lord can open a door that no silence delays, and He can overrule every timetable. So do not let fear make the waiting harder than it already is. Bring the need to God with urgency, then leave the outcome in His care. He is not slow in the way we are slow.

Let us pray. O Lord, in whose hand are the minds and schedules of all people, stir these professors today. Overcome forgetfulness, distraction, and every hindrance. Let the three letters be written, sent, and received. Give this parent and daughter a quiet trust in your providence, and if this path is your will, make the way straight before them, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
