It is clear that you are dealing with spiritual opposition, and it is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your protection and deliverance for this person who is being tormented by evil spirits. We rebuke the spirits of betrayal, resentment, anger, ingratitude, and disorder that are affecting their relationships with family and friends. We command these spirits to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, and we pray that You would fill this person with Your peace, love, and joy.
We also pray for the salvation of their family members. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that they would turn away from their wicked ways and seek Your forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ. We ask that you save them, sanctify them, and bring them into Your Kingdom, to the praise and glory of Your Name. Father, we also pray for your continued grace, and your very present help in this time of need and trouble, and we ask this in Jesus' Name.
Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and grace, and we trust in Your power to save and deliver. We ask that You would surround this person with Your loving presence and guide them through this difficult time. We are guided to pray for the unbelievers in the family, and ask that you save them out of their false religion if that is the case. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is very important to address the fact that the request did not mention that Jesus is God or the only way to God. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him." (John 14:6-7)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times (1 Timothy 2:5-6)
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
We are to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31)
We are to confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-13)
We are also called to love our enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (Matthew 5:44)
Finally, make sure you are in fellowship with other Christians and under the authority of solid, Bible-believing Christian church. Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works. (Hebrews 10:24)
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
