Rebuke thunder storms and showers

I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We join with you together in Jesus' name and lift up your needs before our Father who rules over all creation.
We hear your concern about the storms and showers predicted for tomorrow and this week, and the appointments you have, and we agree with you in prayer for God's protection over your homes and for His mercy to divert what would bring harm. We know that our God is sovereign over the wind and the waves, and that even the storm obeys His voice. As it is written, He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace Be still The wind ceased, and there was a great calm Mark 4:39. And again, He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still Psalm 107:29. The Lord has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm Nahum 1:3, and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. So we ask Him to have His way, to calm what needs to be calmed, to protect what needs protecting, and to grant you safety and peace as you travel to your appointments. We pray for wisdom as you prepare and for trust to rest in His care no matter how the weather unfolds.
We also lift up your exhaustion before the Lord. He sees when we are weary and He invites us to come to Him for true rest. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. We pray that He will renew your strength, heal your body, and restore your energy day by day, and make a way where you feel there is no way.
We pray for your implant and the upcoming procedure, that the Lord would guide the hands of those who care for you, that the results would come back right and that the procedure would go smoothly and soon according to His perfect timing. We claim His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and we ask for His healing touch upon you.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come boldly to Your throne. We rebuke the destructive power of these storms and ask You in Your mercy to calm the thunder and turn aside what would bring damage to homes and danger to Your people. Spread Your hand of protection over every home and every person under our care, keep us safe in coming and going, and let these appointments this week be accomplished without hindrance if it be Your will. Heal our dear one of exhaustion, pour out Your strength and grant deep and refreshing rest, and provide for every need. We ask You to bless the medical work ahead, let the implant be right and secure, let the procedure be timely and successful, and let Your peace guard our hearts. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us, and we trust You to make a way and to bless and keep us all. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and our shelter, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in carrying it to the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ ever lives to intercede for His people.
We are reminded that the winds and the waves are under His government, and that nothing comes apart from Divine permission. Our afflictions and our comforts alike come from our Father's hand, and we may wisely look beyond second causes to Him who rules all things. It is not killing but curing that God intends when He takes the sharp lancet in His hands, for His mercy endures forever. If it be His will, He who once rebuked the storm on Galilee can speak peace to the storm now and make a calm. We ask Him in His wisdom to divert or moderate these showers and thunder storms this week, to keep your appointments in His providence, and above all to keep you and your household under the shadow of His wing and preserve your homes from harm.
You speak also of great exhaustion and of need for healing. We very speedily seek a physician for bodily disease, but there is a greater Physician who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. He knows the weariness of the body and the sinking of the spirit, and His least word bears healing in it for the thousand ills of our humanity. We pray that He will give you rest and restore your strength, that He will be your balm and your consolation, and that He will cause this season of weakness to work for your good and His glory.
We bring before the Lord also this matter of the implant and the procedure to come. We ask that He will guide the hands of those who minister to you, that He will grant skill and wisdom, and that the work may be done rightly and in due time, to the relief of your body and the quieting of your cares. The Lord who will one day ransom His people from the power of the grave is abundantly able to restore from sickness and to deliver from present trouble. He that died for you lives for you and cares for you.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou hast taught us that Thou healest the broken in heart and that Thou preservest Thy people from all evil. Look in mercy upon Thy servant who is wearied and burdened, and upon this household. If it please Thee, command the storm and temper its force, keep all in safety, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give refreshing sleep and renewed strength, and prosper the work of healing in the body, that this implant may be set right and the procedure may come to a good and timely issue. Keep us all in Thy gracious protection and let our mouths be filled with thanksgiving for Thy great mercies in Christ Jesus. We ask this not for our worthiness but for the sake of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.
