We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting up those who are causing you distress. Stubbornness is a heavy burden, both for the one who carries it and for those affected by it. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:1, "He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy." This is a serious matter, for stubbornness can harden the heart against the conviction of the Holy Spirit and lead to destruction.
First, we must address the way you have approached this prayer. You have referred to God as "Lord saver," which is not a biblical title for Him. While we understand your heart may be earnest, we must be careful to honor God with the names and titles He has given Himself in Scripture. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we have access to the Father, and it is only through Him that we are saved. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, for He alone is our Savior, Redeemer, and Deliverer.
Now, let us pray together for those who are stubborn and resistant to the truth. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone have the power to soften hearts and break chains. Lord, we lift up those who are stubborn and unyielding, who have stiffened their necks against Your truth. We ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit, that they may see the error of their ways and turn to You. Father, Your Word says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We pray for this transformation in their lives, that they would no longer resist Your will but surrender fully to You.
We also pray for Your daughter who is enduring this trial. Lord, give her strength and patience as she waits on You. Help her to respond with love and grace, even in the face of difficulty, and to trust in Your timing. Remind her that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). May she find peace in Your presence and rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of stubbornness and rebellion in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return, for Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and declare freedom over those who are bound by stubbornness. Set them free, Lord, and let Your light shine into their hearts.
We encourage you, sister, to continue praying for those who oppose you, for Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This is not easy, but it is the path of Christ. Trust that God sees your struggle and will reward your faithfulness. Keep your heart soft toward Him, and He will guide you through this trial.
Finally, we remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lean on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you continue to walk in His ways.
