Reaping and sewing

You know...as we get older, things seem to become "clearer" to us, meaning, we can see things which when we're younger we don't always realize. And we see that where we are in life is where we put ourselves to be. We didn't get there by chance. For myself, when I was young {teens}, I thought advancing myself was too "tedious", and so I chose to give in to the "instant gratification" of "copping out", without considering the long-range outlook. {A few other categories, too.} After that, even when older, I made a mistake or two, which at the time, not having full foresight, seemed "alright". Now, I see that it did more harm than good. I also know 2 ladies I deal with job-related, one came here on a temporary visa, and overstayed, figuring now she has her "foot in the door". But like in my case, she didn't look towards the future. Now, her son got killed back in Jamaica, and she can't even go to the funeral because when she tries to come back here, they'll see she doesn't have proper documentation, and not let her back. So she has to miss her son's funeral, which is tragic, but again, she CHOSE what she did. Another one who is illegal here also now has numerous things holding her back, and again, it was off of her decision. Add to this some biblical cases, when Moses chose to hit the rock, God didn't let him enter the Promised land. Lot's wife looked back after being instructed not to, and became a pillar of salt. The point? I realized with my own life, and on to the others, that we do reap what we sow, and that if we make a decision based on an "immediate gratification" response instead of using wisdom, we can't blame others if we make a wrong choice, and the circumstances respond to our choice. We reap what we sow. Let's all pray for wisdom.

###, those freaks who disobey God's word need our prayers. They are in the hands of Satan and he will not let them go. Jesus said, pray without ceasing. We must do so. Daily, early in the morning, at noon, before our meal time. Wherever we are, pray for those who are sowing for the flesh and material possessions. They need God's hands of mercy and compassion. Invite them to church. Make sure they get saved and on their way to heaven.
Amen. We need to pray for everyone and we all will reap what we sow.

But no one addressed these "freaks" who are immune to reaping and sewing, gorge themselves but remain thin; chain smoke but outlive most others, high fat foods but have low cholesterol levels, etc.

No one is immune to reaping and sewing, no one...wait until the end...then you will see. We only see in part. Work on YOU!!!

The only thing with exceptions, I can't understand how some constantly eat high calorie foods, but remain thin, or some eat foods high in fat, but their cholesterol levels remain low. How they "get around" the reaping and sowing consequences, I don't know. Or the ones who are chain smokers for years, but die at an older age than many who don't smoke, and never get lung cancer like others. It blows my mind how some seemingly "get around" reaping and sowing.

You are not alone in your thinking ###. Foods, the Word says it is not in our foods or what we put in our mouths that is sin but rather what comes out of our mouths that is sin. Here is one of the reasons why we don't need to or shouldn't think for ourselves or about ourselves for we know not how we, our very own selves ruin our lives by doing so. God says He is nothing like us, yet we think of Him as like us. We think of Him as in our image as He says we are in His image, yet when we stop thinking about ourselves we can see us in His image as if He is our house, our home, everything that is around us for that is how we are in His image. If we think it is sin then we ourselves are subject to that sin if we commit it. We are not to judge others for what they do as sin because if we do we are subject to that judgment that we think should happen to them?

We can understand things better, life better if we think in life how God wants us to think. Have you ever considered that when I stick my head in the sand for God that I cannot see the whole Earth as if I am the whole Earth, one with the Earth which is One with the Universe that I cannot see everything, every creature a little bit better moving as One unit flocking to do the duties God ordained for everything and everyone to do exactly the way God desires everything to do. Now imagine I stick my head in the Sun of Righteousness or the Clouds of Glory, oh what I must see by doing that which is so far beyond my thinking, my thoughts that I gave up on for Jesus. Oh ###, what you are missing out on is so far beyond anyone's comprehension to see as God sees by a simple leap of faith to just stop thinking about your self.

The Word says when we meet Him in the air we will know Him as He knows us. What would happen to someone who meets Jesus as God in the air then they survive and they are left here knowing God as He knows us?

I can't agree that we're supposed to be blind to the sins of others. In certain circumstances, we have to admit things to others. Like if an unsaved person asks you what you think of them using a Quija board, in order to break them of that habit, do you tell them, "I can't say anything, you just go on doing what you're doing". How would they know? Or when witnessing to an unsaved person, the purpose is to cross them from darkness unto light, but if an unsaved person asks you, "can I get to Heaven in my unsaved state, and you know the Bible states that's impossible, do you tell them, "I "can't admit" unsaved people go to Hell, I must say only 'positive things". You're fine. You'll go to Heaven just as you are. But wouldn't that be a lie? In other words, like is also stated in the Bible, "For everything there is a time, a time for {fill in.}} Pretending that others don't sin, when there are times it has to be brought up, ....

Hard to understand how that is all you received from what was stated and then you didn't answer my question. Did you read everything that was stated?

Where in the Bible does it state that we are to judge others for what they eat ###?

The only thing we are to share with others is Jesus and what Jesus did for us. Jesus died for our sins. Jesus became a curse for us to deliver us from our curse as we ate as a whole from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Pointing out another's specific sin doesn't need to be our viewpoint because we are all born in sin ###. Lifting up Jesus is the only thing we should concentrate on for then all can be drawn unto Jesus. While Jesus at times has me sitting in a hammock sipping ice tea and sharing His Word, I share how to sit in a hammock with Jesus to anyone who will listen. Do you know who will listen ###? Do you know how to rest in Jesus, how to sit in a hammock with the One who saved your soul ###?

Now how is wondering how some get around eating high calorie foods without getting fat judging them?I just noticed that it seemed to be an exception to reaping and sewing, and it blows my mind how they're able to "get around it."You interpreted it as judging. And you actually agreed with me on something, you tell them that Jesus was a substitute for them, to take their SINS on Himself so they wouldn't go to Hell.I said there was a time we had to say thus and so, not brush it under the rug,but by your answer you actually bore that out.

I wasn't judging you or them ###. Did you answer my questions to my original quote or did you only hear what God wanted you to hear?

I wonder, is the "law" of reaping and sowing only spiritual, or can it apply to other things? Because I'm always seeing exceptions to it. Someone eats high-calorie foods and plenty of it, but stays skinny. Someone eats fatty foods, but has low cholesterol levels. Even spiritually, one does good...
