Separation from God is only an illusion that we have created.

The Bible says;









Isaiah 59:2




But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.






Ezekiel 14:7"For anyone of the house of Israel or of the immigrants who stay in Israel who separates himself from Me, sets up his idols in his heart,




Ephesians 2:12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.




Yes, we do have a homing part of us that God has put there to draw us to Him. But what you say sounds like a new age saying. According to the Word, it refers many times to mankind and each individual being separate from God. God does not indwell us, Jesus does not indwell us, the Holy Spirit does not indwell us, until after we are saved and are given a new spirit that God can dwell in. Until salvation all of mankind is "in Jesus" but Jesus is not in an unsaved person.
