Psalm 119

1. Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2. Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart,
3. who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways.
4. You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.
5. O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!
6. Then I will not be put to shame when I have respect for all your commandments.
7. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules.
8. I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
9. Where shall the young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to your word.
10. With my whole heart I seek you; do not let me wander from your commandments.
11. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
12. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes.
13. With my lips I have declared all the judgments of your mouth.
14. I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15. I will meditate on your precepts, and consider your ways.
16. I will delight myself in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
17. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live, and keep your word.
18. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
19. I am a stranger on earth; hide not your commandments from me.
20. My soul breaks for the longing it has to your judgments at all times.
21. You have rebuked the proud, who are cursed, because they have turned aside from your commandments.
22. Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies.
23. Princes also have sat and spoken against me, but your servant is occupied in your statutes.
24. Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
25. My soul cleaves to the dust; quicken me according to your word.
26. I have declared my ways, and you answered me; teach me your statutes.
27. Make me to understand the way of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28. My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29. Remove from me the way of lying; and grant me your law graciously.
30. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set your ordinances before me.
31. I cling to your testimonies, O Lord; do not let me be put to shame.
32. I will run in the way of your commandments, when you enlarge my heart.
33. Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end.
34. Give me understanding, and I will keep your law; yea, I will observe it with my whole heart.
35. Make me to go in the path of your commandments, for therein do I delight.
36. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain.
37. Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things; give life to me in your way.
38. Fulfill your promise to your servant, which you have promised on your faithfulness.
39. Let your lovingkindness come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.
40. Let the proud be ashamed, for they dealt perversely with me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
41. Let those who fear you turn to me, those who have known your testimonies.
42. Let my heart be sound in your statutes, that I be not put to shame.
43. My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word.
44. My eyes fail with looking for your promise; and I say, When will you comfort me?
45. For I am like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I do not forget your statutes.
46. How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me?
47. The proud have dug pits for me, which are contrary to your law.
48. All your commandments are faithful; they persecute me wrongfully; help me.
49. They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not your precepts.
50. Quicken me according to your lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of your mouth.
51. For ever, O Lord, your word is settled in heaven.
52. Your faithfulness is to all generations; you have established the earth, and it abides.
53. They continue this day according to your ordinances, for all things stand in subjection to you.
54. Unless your law had been my delight, I should have perished in my affliction.
55. I will never forget your precepts, for with them you have given me life.
56. I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts.
57. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider your testimonies.
58. I have seen an end of all perfection; but your commandment is exceeding broad.
59. O how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.
60. You direct me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
61. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing upon earth that I desire besides you.
62. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
63. For those who are far from you shall perish; you destroy those who are false to you.
64. But it is good for me to be near God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all your works.
65. O Lord, the way of your statutes is delightful; therefore I love your commandments above gold, yes, above fine gold.
66. Therefore I esteem all your precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
67. Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore does my soul keep them.
68. The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
69. I opened my mouth and panted, for I longed for your commandments.
70. Look on me, and be merciful to me, as you are wont to do to those who love your name.
71. Order my steps in your word; and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
72. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep your precepts.
73. Make your face shine upon your servant; teach me your statutes.
74. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not your law.
75. Righteous are you, O Lord, and upright are your judgments.
76. You have also ordained your testimonies in righteousness and in great faithfulness.
77. Let indignation and wrath overtake those who forsake your law; you have been good to me, O Lord.
78. What shall a young man do with his own life? Let him keep your word.
79. With my whole heart I have sought you; let me not wander from your commandments.
80. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
