Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer about sleep and your phone has been heard and I have prayed for you.
It is a comfort to remember what Scripture says, that the One who keeps His people never slumbers and never sleeps. You may lie down at night knowing He is awake and watching over you. Like a shepherd who lies across the doorway of the sheepfold, Jesus Himself is the door and the guardian through the night. Nothing can reach you without passing by Him. Because He does not sleep, you can rest.
I understand how frustrating a phone that will not charge can be, and how losing sleep wears you down. God cares about both the large and the small burdens you carry, and it is right to bring even these practical needs to Him. I have asked the Lord to provide what you need for your phone, whether that is a simple fix, wisdom to find help, or provision for what is needed to make it work again.
Sleep itself is a gift from the Lord, and when it is broken it can feel discouraging. It can help to give yourself permission to set the phone aside at night, to silence it or keep it from disturbing your rest, so your body and mind can truly settle. And if you do find yourself awake in the night, try not to be upset by it. Many have found that those quiet, wakeful moments can become a gentle time to commune with the Lord, to pray, to thank Him, and to cast your cares on Him again until sleep returns.
May the Lord grant you peaceful sleep and wake you refreshed, and may you know His keeping presence whether you are awake or asleep, for those who belong to Jesus live together with Him in either case.
Father, I bring this need before You. You never sleep and You watch over Your child with perfect care. I ask You to grant deep and peaceful rest tonight and in the nights to come. Lay Your hand upon this practical need with the phone and provide a solution according to Your wisdom and kindness. Give peace of heart, trust in Your watchful love, and renewed strength each morning. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
