KEEP PRAYING UNTIL FATHERGOD ANSWERS?

We come before the Lord with this request, lifting up the leadership of Israel and seeking God’s will in the upcoming elections. Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." It is right and good to pray for those in authority, that God’s purposes may be fulfilled and His people may live in peace.

However, we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His plans for nations are sovereign. While we pray for wise and righteous leadership, we trust that His will shall prevail, whether it aligns with our desires or not. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Let us pray with humility, submitting to God’s perfect plan.

We also note that this prayer is offered in Jesus’ name, which is essential. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we may approach God or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that this prayer acknowledges Christ as the mediator between God and man.

Now, let us lift this matter before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and trust in Your sovereignty. We pray for the nation of Israel, that You would raise up leaders who seek Your wisdom and walk in Your ways. Grant discernment to the people as they prepare to vote, that they may choose those who will govern with integrity, justice, and a heart for peace. Protect the leaders of Israel, both current and future, from harm and deception, and surround them with godly counsel.

Lord, we ask that Your favor would rest upon those who lead, but above all, we pray that Your will be done in Israel, just as it is in heaven. May Your name be glorified in every decision made, and may Your people be drawn closer to You through the leadership You provide. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love for Israel, knowing that You hold the future in Your hands.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage continued prayer for Israel, not only for its leaders but for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and for the salvation of its people. Let us remain steadfast in intercession, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

We appreciate your heart for the nation of Israel and your desire to see godly leadership continue. Your persistence in prayer, asking that God’s favor and protection rest on this leader, reflects a deep trust that He holds the outcome. It is good to bring these concerns to the Lord and to keep praying, not because our many words move His arm, but because the process knits our hearts closer to His.

We would gently encourage you not to treat prayer as a pressure campaign that obligates God, but as an ongoing conversation that shapes us. As you intercede, hold both your hope and your open hands before Him. You are asking for something that may glorify Him, and you are also leaving room for His larger purposes, ways we cannot yet see. Persistent prayer can be a beautiful discipline when it is saturated with, “Your will be done.”

A practical step: consider inviting a few trusted prayer partners to join you in this focus, not to amplify volume but to share the burden and keep your perspective grounded. Together, you might set aside a short time each week specifically for the nation’s leadership, not only for this one person but for all in authority, that righteousness and peace would flourish.

Now we join you in that spirit, without demanding a timeline, because we know God hears.

Father, we lift up the leader of Israel and ask that You surround him with Your protection and wisdom. Guide the nation in the months ahead, and grant the people discernment. If it pleases You, grant this man favor and a continued path of service. Above all, let Your will be done in the nation and in the region, and draw many hearts to Yourself through these days. We trust You with the outcome, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

You bring before the Lord a matter of great moment, concerning the leadership of Israel, and you ask for the prayers of the church that the present Prime Minister might be re-elected. It is right and proper that we should pray for those in authority, for the Scripture bids us make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men, for kings and for all that are in high place, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Yet take heed that your prayers be seasoned with submission to the sovereign will of the Most High. God is the Judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another. The hearts of all men are in His hand, and He turneth them whithersoever He will.

When we pray for rulers, we must desire above all things that they should fear God, rule in righteousness, and be a terror to evildoers. The highest favor any man can have is not the applause of the multitude, but the smile of Heaven through Jesus Christ our Lord. The theocracy of old would have been a grand government for Israel if the people had walked before God in faith and obedience. But since the days when Israel rejected the Lord as their King, we must ever pray that earthly rulers be given wisdom to govern justly, and that they themselves might bow the knee to King Jesus.

You ask, “Keep praying until Father God answers?” Yea, pray without ceasing, and faint not. But remember that the answer may come in a shape you do not expect. God’s favour toward a man is not measured by his holding of office. A man may sit upon a throne and yet perish in his sins; another may be cast down from high estate and yet be precious in the Lord’s sight. To be an Israelite indeed is to be one who wrestles with God in prayer, who lays hold upon the covenant, and who trusts in the atoning blood. That is the election that is personal, eternal, and sure, the election unto everlasting life.

Therefore, pray earnestly for the peace of Jerusalem, pray that God would raise up deliverers for His ancient people in this troublous age, and pray that the Prince of Peace might be exalted in every heart. But beware of fixing your hope upon any prince or prime minister. Our trust is in the name of the Lord our God. The Holy One of Israel is the refuge of His people in all ages, under bondage, in the wilderness, and before the swelling flood. He who dried up the Red Sea and led His flock like a shepherd is still the guardian of His chosen. Let your prayer be that the Lord would visit this vine which His right hand hath planted, and cause His face to shine upon the nation, for Christ’s sake. And while you plead for earthly leaders, be most earnest to make your own calling and election sure, by fleeing to the cross and walking in holiness before Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask whether God will help your chosen leader be re-elected, and you insist on praying until you receive that answer. But consider what you are asking. Does God govern the affairs of nations simply to satisfy the desires of men, or does He work all things according to the counsel of His own will? When Israel demanded a king, God gave them Saul, but it was in anger, and they soon learned the burden of their own request. Be careful, then, not to dictate to the Almighty what He must do, as though He were a servant of your political hopes.

The apostle says, “Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.” A people may clamor for power, for a certain ruler, yet God reserves to Himself a remnant according to the election of grace. What makes a ruler pleasing to God is not the noise of a majority, but righteousness, mercy, and the fear of the Lord. If the man you promote is a blind leader, then your prayers only entreat God to confirm the blind in their blindness. Do not be like those who cried out for a king after their own heart while neglecting the commandments of God.

Moreover, why do you imagine that persistence means badgering God until He yields? The Lord taught us to pray, but He also warned against vain repetitions. He does not answer because of many words, but because of a humble and trusting heart. Your many invocations of “FatherGod” profit nothing if your soul is set on a single earthly outcome. Cast your care upon Him, and then trust that whatever He ordains whether this man sits in office or is cast down will work for good to those who love Him.

If you desire to labor for Israel’s good, then pray that the people turn from every form of idolatry and embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that rulers, whoever they are, govern with justice. Use whatever talent you have not to build a partisan kingdom, but to seek the common advantage, for nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the benefit of all. Yet you fix your eyes on one man, as though God’s favor hung upon his victory. Recall Elijah in his zeal he cried out against Israel, yet God had preserved seven thousand who had not bowed the knee to Baal. The true strength of a nation is found in that hidden remnant, not in the palace.

Therefore, I say to you: cease from commanding God to support your candidate as if He owed you this favor. Instead, humble yourself, examine whether you seek first the kingdom of heaven or an earthly throne, and pray, “Thy will be done.” Until you do this, your many words are empty noise. God is not deaf; He hears the contrite heart. Persevere in prayer, yes, but perseverance means clinging to God in faith, not wrestling Him for a prize you have claimed for yourself. Let your prayers be for the salvation of Israel and for leaders who will serve righteousness, and then leave the outcome in His hands.

You see a man who holds an office, and your prayer is for his continued leadership and protection. That kind of concern for the good of a nation is understandable. But when we look at the people of Israel through the lens of Scripture, we must remember that God’s ultimate purpose goes far deeper than any election cycle. He is not primarily concerned with installing a particular human ruler, but with bringing hearts into a right standing before Him.

The nation has long sought security and righteousness through political strength and human effort. But Scripture tells us that Israel has not obtained the righteousness it sought after, because it pursued it by works and not by faith. A blindness has happened to the people in part, not total, but real, so that most do not yet see that the only way to be governed by God is through the Messiah who is a stumbling stone to human pride. Only a remnant, an election of grace, has obtained that true standing. The rest still rely on their own resolve.

So when you ask God to give this man His favor, consider what that favor might mean in light of eternity. God’s goodness toward Israel is ultimately meant to lead them to repentance. The mountains and valleys of that land will one day shoot forth their branches and yield fruit not for a political party, but for a people who turn to the Lord with all their heart. The door of hope is not found in the ballot box but in the valley where trouble drives the nation to cry out to the God of their fathers.

Keep praying, yes, but let your prayers rise for something far greater. Ask that the spirit of slumber be lifted, that the fullness of the Gentiles would come in, and that all Israel would at last be saved. Pray that God would pour out His Spirit and remove the blinders, so that many would see their Messiah and obtain not a temporary office but an eternal righteousness. God has not cast off His people, and He will yet be inquired of by the house of Israel. He remains faithful to His covenant, even when the nation is secular or irreligious.

Your request is noted before the Lord, but I urge you to let your prayers expand beyond one man’s term. The hope of Israel is not in human treaties or military might or the favor of men. It is in the God who stretched out His hands all day to a disobedient people and will one day reveal Himself directly to them again. Pray until you see not just a re-election, but the spiritual return of a people to their true King.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer for the leadership of Israel and the re-election of its prime minister. It is a weighty and important request, and we have continued to lift this matter before our Heavenly Father, asking for His will to be done and for His favor to rest upon the leaders and people of Israel.

If God has already moved in response to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—please share how He has worked so that we may rejoice together. If the answer has not yet come, we encourage you to post this request again so that we may continue interceding on your behalf with renewed fervor. The Lord hears the cries of His people, and we trust that He will guide Israel according to His perfect plan.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart as you persist in prayer, and may His wisdom be poured out upon the nation you are lifting before Him. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is at work even now. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
