We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we first bring before You the concern about the rash on the back. We ask for Your healing touch, Lord, for You are the Great Physician. Your Word tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray for complete healing and relief from discomfort, trusting in Your mercy and power.
We also lift up the request for the son’s test tomorrow. Father, we ask that You grant him clarity of mind, peace, and the ability to recall all that he has studied. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that he may finish and pass his test, but if he does not, we ask that You soften the heart of his teacher to grant him more time, as You are a God of grace and compassion.
For the appointment with the in-law, we pray for wisdom, patience, and understanding. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May Your Spirit guide the conversation, bringing unity and peace where there may be tension. Let Your love be evident in every word and action.
Lord, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in these situations. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promises, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
