I would like to request prayer and ask a few questions about prayer and your suggestions.

I understand that if you have a lot of people praying for you, it can be beneficial.

Now I heard of Tibetan prayer wheels where they write the prayers down and then spin them around, and it multiplies the effect. I also heard about computer-generated prayers.

Do you think if you record some prayers and play them over and over that would increase the effect? (It seems to me that if more people praying can be helpful, then this might work.) I'd like to get as many people praying for my needs.

Can you recommend some prayer groups that will pray for me? Do you recommend any CDs to listen to, prayer wheels, computer-generated prayers? Any ideas, suggestions, websites, healers, prayer groups, or any other resources you can think of would be most helpful, and of course, your prayers to manifest intentions would be helpful.

Here are my prayer requests:

- Being a better human being in every way
- Eating healthy
- Getting up on time and daily exercise
- General overall health and happiness
- Financial success
- Peace of mind & stability
- Daily meditation
- Discipline
- Do what I say I will do and what I know is right
- Surrendering will to God
- Trust and faith in God
- Being obedient
- Following the will of God

Thank you,

Father, I pray for Your wisdom to come to this man, the wisdom to know who You are, and to find Your will.

###, the power of two or more people praying is to uplift one another, show unity between believers, and to increase one another's faith. We are a family of Christian believers. The ideas behind the prayer wheel, or playing a prayer over and over are not of the Christian belief. That would be a pagan ritual. God is not impressed by these displays, the moving power of prayer, is to bring prayer to God in faith, know that He is God, find out and know that you are praying in His will, and believe by faith that You have already received what You have asked Him for. It is the acknowledgement that you know beyond a doubt that He is God Almighty, you are His child, and that it is His delight to provide for everything you need. That Tibetan wheel can spin until the spokes rot off of it, without faith, it is meaningless. There are several good books on prayer, and without a doubt the best one would be the Bible, that is the word of the One and Only God.

I agree with ###'s prayer and want to also impress upon you to Pray once and believe. God hears us and has a wonderful memory. Continuing to ask is a lack of faith, but when you thank him in prayer for doing the things in which you ask according to his will then you are thanking in advance. Faith is believing not seeing or feeling it is believing you have received. God will answer our prayers. As ### said "where two or more agree it shall be done" this is very true because God blesses unity and agreement according to his will. Praise God he is at work in all of our lives "Believe and ye shall receive"

Jesus taught us how to pray, saying:

"This, then, is how you should pray:

" 'Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come,

your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one

Matthew 6:9-13 NIV

I agree with all of these posts, very good points. ###, God isn't so much concerned with the quantity of prayer as the quality of it - meaning absolute trust and faith in the One you are praying to. You don't have to be a scholar and speak elaborate, lengthy prayers - just speak from your heart, speak with sincerity, speak believing that the ear of God almighty just heard what you said and He's acting upon it now. I pray for your faith journey to grow and your love of God to never fade. Praise His holy name.
