Beloved of All
🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Consistently Knowing God Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12... 🙌 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love, Rom 5:5, pursuing Your love, and freely and earnestly desiring its expression through spiritual gifts, acts of kindness to believers, unbelievers, friends, family members, even "enemies" (though I ask you convert everyone -- I honestly have no "enemies" but will they'd all be saved, 1 Tim 2:4, all find Your love, grace, forgiveness and empowering times of refreshing that stem from believing in Messiah and repentance and remission of sins and freedom from eternal condemnation, Luke 24:46-47, Acts 3:19-20, 2 Cor 7:10-11, 2 Peter 3:9. We especially desire love for and the edification of Christ's beloved church, 1 Cor 14:1-4. We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to walk in love, wisdom, and alignment with God’s will. Your prayer reflects a deep longing to abound in love, discernment, and the knowledge of God, and we join you in seeking His perfect will in every area of life. Let us lift these petitions together, standing on the truth of Scripture and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find salvation (Acts 4:12).

Father, we thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were still sinners, that Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Your love is the foundation of our faith, and we ask that it would overflow in our lives, transforming us from the inside out. We pray that our love would abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10). Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12).

We recognize, Father, that pursuing love is not merely an emotional endeavor but a deliberate choice to align our lives with Your Word. Love must be rooted in truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). We ask that You would help us to love not only in word or speech but in deed and truth (1 John 3:18). Let our love be marked by holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We rebuke any distortion of love that seeks to justify sin or compromise Your standards. Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6). Father, we ask that You would guard our hearts from any form of love that is not anchored in Your Word, whether it be lust, idolatry, or emotional dependency that leads us away from You.

We also lift up the desire for spiritual gifts, asking that they would be exercised in love and for the edification of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:1). Let us not seek gifts for our own glory but for the building up of the church and the advancement of Your kingdom. Father, we pray that You would grant us wisdom to use these gifts in a way that honors You and draws others to Christ. May our lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), so that the world may see Your light shining through us.

We are grateful for the promise that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We pray for those who do not yet know You, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. Father, we ask that You would break every chain of deception, pride, and rebellion that keeps them from receiving Your love. Let the message of repentance and remission of sins be proclaimed in all nations, beginning from where we are (Luke 24:47). Use us as vessels to share the hope of salvation, that many would come to faith in Jesus Christ and experience the times of refreshing that come from Your presence (Acts 3:19-20).

Father, we also pray for protection from the evil one and from the deception that is rampant in these last days. We ask that You would keep us from being led astray by false teachings or those who claim to know You but deny You by their deeds (Titus 1:16). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Deliver us from temptation, sin, and fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let us walk in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3), hearing the voice of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and following Him alone (John 10:27).

We thank You for the ministry of angels, who are sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We ask that You would dispatch Your angels to encamp around us, protecting us from harm and guiding us in Your ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we also pray for practical wisdom in our daily lives, that we may make decisions that honor You and reflect Your character. Grant us favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12) and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would perfect us in love, that we may stand blameless before You on the day of Christ (1 Thessalonians 3:13). Let us be imitators of You, as beloved children, walking in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:1-2). May our lives be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, as we are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:1-2). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You and find our strength, hope, and salvation. Amen.

We are standing with you in these apostolic prayers, what a rich, beautiful desire to pursue love, abound in discernment, and walk in consistent, joyful obedience. Your words reflect a heart that longs to be sincere and blameless, filled with the fruit of righteousness, and that is itself a work of God already in motion.

As we read through your petitions, we’re reminded that growth like this is more like training for a marathon than a sprint. The regular, even small steps of loving others, seeking wisdom moment by moment, and giving thanks in ordinary days weave a steady strength over time. When we stumble in love or struggle to choose what’s highest, it’s not a failure of the desire, it’s the path itself. The very prayers you have prayed are part of that training, shaping your heart to reach for what God has promised.

So this week, maybe invite the Lord each morning to show you one concrete way to love someone well, and one moment where discernment is needed. Then simply do it, as an act of trust, not perfection. That quiet, daily faithfulness is how He builds the consistency and joy you long for. And when you feel less than assured, remember you are not alone: we pray these things with you and for you, as the Spirit Himself intercedes.

Let’s pray together.

Father, thank You for these deep desires that only You can fulfill. Fill our friend with love that overflows in knowledge and discernment, so they may approve what is excellent and be sincere and without offense. Strengthen them with all power, according to Your glorious might, for steadfastness and patience with joy. Keep them from evil, and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. We trust You to complete what You have begun, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The soul that longs to pursue love and abound in discernment has already felt the first motions of that divine will which is the axle of the universe. God's will is not a bare permission, but the great heart of providence sending its pulsings even into the secret chambers of your desires. It is consistent with the universal experience of all God's people that salvation, and every holy longing within it, is of God's will. Your prayer for love to overflow with knowledge and depth of insight did not spring from the dry soil of nature, but from the Spirit who works in us to will and to do of His own good pleasure. And this is our confidence: the preservation, the perseverance, and the eternal glory of His people rest upon that same unshakeable will.

You ask to choose the highest, to test and approve what is excellent, to walk worthy of the Lord. Then let this truth settle in you: true discernment is not a mere sharpening of the intellect, but the bending of the will. Is your will subject to His will? Are His commands your desire? For you can never truly receive Christ as Jesus unless you receive Him as the Lord. The model presented to us is this: walk in Him just as you received Him. You received Him with empty hands, bowing your will to God's will, or rather, divine grace bowed it for you. Walk, then, in this same Christ, on the mountaintops of daily activity and in the valley of the shadow, always confessing your frailty, yet leaning hard upon His love.

You plead to be filled with the knowledge of His will. Yet remember, while many of God's secret purposes are hidden, there is a revealed will which we must not violate. Sometimes the highest wisdom is a holy passivity in the hand of God, to stand still until the cloudy, fiery pillar moves. Yet there is also a royal will we seek to fulfill. The very gain of life, even the honest gain of daily labor, is not to be sought unless we can in it promote the will of God. Let your best profit consist of doing that will.

Your prayer is for love, and rightly so. This is the climax of God’s love: that He allures us into the wilderness and speaks comfortably to us. But there is also a vengeance of love. True love will lead us to take vengeance upon that evil which has brought so much sorrow, for He says, "I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth." Ask Him to do this unsparing work in you, to remove every rival affection, that you may love Him in life and in death, and praise Him as long as He lends you breath.

And what of the crooked things you ask to be made straight, the fear you ask to be stilled? Your trial will cease when it culminates; the darkest hour of the night will strike just before the dawn. That which saves us, and that which sustains us, is not what is now, but what will be. God says, "I will make darkness light, I will make crooked things straight." A transformation is in store. The crooked self, the difficult circumstance, the thorn in the flesh, these are the very materials upon which His love delights to work His wonders.

You are surrounded, even now, by the broad wall of God's power and God's love. Electing love surrounds every heir of grace. Redeeming love asks, "Did He shed His blood in vain?" God’s honor in the Gospel requires your final joy. If God is for us, who can be against us? Walk upon this broad wall and survey the security of your inheritance. The destroyer cannot reach those inside the wall of Christ's love and mercy.

Let this truth sink into your spirit: everything God does toward His people is love. If He caresses, it is love. If He chastens, it is love. If He smiles, love. If He frowns, it is still love, for God is Love and to His people He is nothing else but Love, infinite, boundless, eternal, unchangeable. To perceive this love more is to be transformed by it. Go on, then, sowing in tears if need be. The mournful sowing will end in joyful reaping. The love of God shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost is a spark of the eternal flame, and may it never be quenched. Joyously give thanks, for He has qualified you. And if any reading this have never fled to that gate, it is open now. Escape to it, for a day comes when it will be shut.

Amen. Father please do this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed with a fervent spirit, seeking love that abounds yet more and more in all knowledge and discernment. This is a noble request, for the measure of love is to stop at no point. Paul himself desired that the debt of love always remain owing. But mark well: the love that pleases God is not a blind affection poured out equally on all without judgment. That is not love but a want of feeling. True love must be mingled with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent. There is a love that harms, a friendship that defiles, and under the pretense of charity many receive spurious doctrine. The apostle therefore prays that you be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ, not spoiled by the love of any who would lead you astray. Love, yes, but with wisdom, so that you are not harmed by that very affection.

This very thing God will grant, for He has given a commandment: that you love one another as Christ has loved you. See how the love of God is intertwined with our own, like a chain. You cannot grasp the first without possessing the second. If you abide in love, you abide in God. And the love commanded is not a cold benevolence, but warm and glowing, kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love. In honor prefer one another. Do not wait to be loved, but leap at it yourself. So you will reap the wages of mutual affection.

You have asked to know God's will and walk worthy of Him. This wisdom is not of this world, which comes to nothing. The world's wisdom seemed wise but trusted only to itself and became foolishness. What we speak is God's wisdom, hidden in a mystery, foreordained before the worlds unto our glory. When you are filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual understanding, then you walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work. This is not the wisdom of the schools, which terminates here and cannot profit its possessors. It is the wisdom that comes from above, pure and peaceable.

Your prayer for consistency and joy amidst trials is heard. The devil's dart is evil concupiscence, and anger is a fire that consumes. Quench it with longsuffering. Dipping the red-hot iron of wrath into the water of patience, you yourself are preserved and the other is subdued. Arm yourself with the shield of faith, and you shall stand.

You have asked for love toward believers and unbelievers alike. Remember that love does not merely bless from a distance. To bless and not to curse is good, but Paul commands more: be penetrated with the warmth of friendship. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. This ties love most firmly. When your neighbor is exalted, take share in his joy, and you will purge yourself of envy. When he suffers, make his calamity your own, and lighten his load. This is a high Christian temper, requiring a noble soul. You need not remove the evil, but contribute tears; you need not increase prosperity, but contribute joy. Thus love is perfected.

Therefore, pursue love, but let it abound in that discerning knowledge. Long for the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. Do all things without murmuring, that you may be blameless and harmless children of God. And as you are strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, you will walk with patience and joy, ever giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light. For nothing so produces love as to know that the beloved desires your love with an insatiable longing. God's love for you is beyond measure; let yours for Him and for His church be without dissimulation, and may your joy be full.

What a rich and scripturally saturated prayer you have lifted up. The desire to pursue love, to abound in discernment, and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord echoes the very heart of wisdom. That longing to be filled with the knowledge of His will, strengthened with all power, and joyously giving thanks, this is the cry of someone who has tasted that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And that fear, as we learn from the Scriptures, is far more than reverence; it is to hate evil. True wisdom starts there, refusing what is crooked and embracing what is pure, peaceable, gentle, and without hypocrisy.

Your prayer for love to abound in all knowledge and intense discernment is exactly the path of life. So many boast of knowledge but lack the wisdom that leads to righteous action. Knowledge provides facts, but wisdom directs the feet. Wisdom causes a person’s face to shine, not with the boldness of pride, but with the confidence of one who walks in the light. As you’ve asked that you may approve things that are excellent and choose the highest, you are asking for the mind of Christ, who leads in the way of righteousness and causes those who love Him to inherit substance. This is the more excellent way, love expressed not in empty words, but in deeds, in giving yourself for others, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself.

You have embraced the apostolic prayers, and that is good ground. To pray for a walk worthy of His name, to be consistent, patient, and full of joy, is to seek the wisdom from above. That wisdom is first pure, then peaceable. It does not strive or envy; it does not boast in earthly cleverness. Instead, it produces a life that is sincere and without offense, a life that hates evil and clings to what is good. When you ask to be led by the Spirit in paths of righteousness and justice, you are asking to be one of those simple ones who receive subtlety, the young man who gains knowledge and discretion. And the promise holds: those who seek wisdom early will find her, and length of days, riches, and honor are in her hands, not as the world gives, but as God defines them.

Your request for protection from evil, from deception, from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, is the cry of wisdom keeping you. The Lord will be your confidence, and He will guard your foot from the paths of darkness. Do not be envious of the sinner who seems to prosper; contrast their end with the inheritance of the saints in light. The day of desolation is coming for those who forsake the Lord, but for you who walk in the fear of the Lord all the day long, it shall be well. You need not fear when judgment comes, because the Lord is your keeper.

Continue, then, in this pursuit. Walk as a child of light, forgiving as you have been forgiven, and let love be the motive of every gift and every act of kindness. Your prayer already recognizes that love abounds in the knowledge of God; that is the wisdom that will not fail. Do not be hasty to leave His sight or take a stand in an evil thing. Instead, commit your way to Him, and He will bring forth your righteousness as the light. The excellency of this knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it. You are being strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, and that work is sure. May you increasingly know the joy of being led, taught, and filled with the Spirit, walking in the understanding of the Most High.
