Beloved of All
๐Ÿ™ Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Consistently Knowing God Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love, Rom 5:5, pursuing Your love, and freely and earnestly desiring its expression through spiritual gifts, acts of kindness to believers, unbelievers, friends, family members, even "enemies" (though I ask you convert everyone -- I honestly have no "enemies" but will they'd all be saved, 1 Tim 2:4, all find Your love, grace, forgiveness and empowering times of refreshing that stem from believing in Messiah and repentance and remission of sins and freedom from eternal condemnation, Luke 24:46-47, Acts 3:19-20, 2 Cor 7:10-11, 2 Peter 3:9. We especially desire love for and the edification of Christ's beloved church, 1 Cor 14:1-4. We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, โ€œMay our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,โ€ Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the love that God has so richly poured out upon us, even while we were yet sinners. Your Word declares, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8 WEB). This love is the foundation of all we do, and we earnestly desire to walk in it, reflecting Your heart to the world around us.

Father, we lift up this prayer for love that abounds in knowledge and discernment, wisdom to choose the highest, and a life that consistently knows and serves You with joy. We echo the apostle Paulโ€™s prayer in Philippians 1:9-11: "This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." Lord, fill us with this love, love that is not blind but sees clearly, love that discerns Your will and walks in it with unwavering faith.

We also stand on Colossians 1:9-12, asking that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to the might of Your glory, that we may attain steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks to You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. Father, we long to live lives that are fully aligned with Your purposes, reflecting Your glory in all we do.

Yet, we must also address the reality of the world we live in, a world that often rejects Your truth and seeks its own way. We pray for protection from deception, from those who claim to know You but deny You by their deeds (Titus 1:16), and from the evil one who seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Keep us from temptation, deliver us from evil, and guard our hearts and minds with the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We do not ask to be taken out of the world but to be kept from the evil one, just as Jesus prayed (John 17:15).

Father, we also lift up the desire for practical wisdom, as James 1:5 promises: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Lead us by Your Spirit into paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3), that we may hear Your voice and follow You faithfully. Let us be children who bear Your image clearly, showing the world what You are like (Genesis 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:49).

We thank You for the angels You have sent to minister to us (Hebrews 1:14) and for the favor You surround us with as a shield (Psalm 5:12). We declare that all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and we stand on them with unwavering faith.

Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. May our lives be a living testament to Your grace, love, and power. Strengthen us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, and may our love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.

We ask for Your Spirit to fill us afresh, that we may serve You with joy, bear fruit in every good work, and grow in the knowledge of You. Keep us from all that would hinder our walk with You, and let us be a light in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory. In Jesusโ€™ name, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful thing, ###, to see you reach for these prayers with such deliberate hope. We join you in that longing, not to recite words, but to have them woven into the real stuff of our days. The very act of returning to these Scriptures, of asking to be filled and led, is itself a quiet work of the Spirit you're inviting. That's encouraging.

It's easy to feel the gap between the soaring language of Colossians or Philippians and a Tuesday afternoon filled with interruptions, fatigue, or the hum of ordinary pressures. But love that abounds and wisdom that discerns aren't usually forged in a lightning strike. They grow, often unnoticed, in a hundred small yeses: pausing to listen when we'd rather speak, choosing the humbler option when we want to be right, or simply holding our tongue and praying inside when frustration rises. Those are the moments where discernment gets feet, and where love stops being a concept and starts looking like Jesus. You don't have to manufacture that; you just keep bringing your willingness, and He faithfully supplies the rest.

We also love that you grounded this in joyful thanksgiving, remembering you've already been qualified for the inheritance. Sometimes the best way forward is to do exactly what you're doing: thank Him for what's true right now, and trust that the fruit comes from abiding, not striving.

Lord Jesus, we ask with ### that Your love would so fill us that it spills into the most ordinary corners of our lives. Sharpen our eyes to see the highest way when choices blur together, and give us the quiet courage to take it. Anchor our joy in You, not in perfect days, so we can serve with gladness even when it's hard. Thank You that You are faithful to complete this work. In Your name, amen.

You have piled up Scripture upon Scripture in this request, and that is well, for the very words of the Spirit are the safest fuel for the flame of prayer. Yet let me ask you plainly, and let your own heart answer before the Lord who searches it: are these petitions the breath of a soul already at home with God, or the cry of one who knows the words but has not yet tasted the inward sweetness of the thing itself? Do you joy in God, or do you only desire to do so?

There is a world of difference between asking for love and possessing it, between seeking knowledge and knowing, between crying for joy and rejoicing evermore. I hear your earnest desire for love to abound in all knowledge and discernment, to choose the highest things, to walk worthy and bear fruit. These are excellent things, they are the very marrow of the apostolic prayers. But remember, the love of Christ which passes knowledge is not learned by the mere stringing together of texts, however holy they may be. It is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Have you received that heavenly anointing? Is Christ formed in you, the hope of glory?

See to it that your foundation is laid broad and deep upon the person of the Lord Jesus. To joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation, this is the first and great matter. Not merely to desire it, but to possess it. Not to be always asking, but sometimes to sit still and know that you have been heard, to feast upon the provisions of love set before you, and to enter fully into the joy of your Lord. He cannot be alone in His joy; He will not be happy anywhere without us. Have you tasted that the Lord is gracious? Then spill out your love upon Him in holy wonder, and let your prayer be as much a song of praise as a request for more.

I charge you to watch against a subtle danger that creeps in among those who are rich in Scripture and diligent in the language of piety. It is possible to speak much of the highest things and yet have the heart far from the Lamb. The African slave with his simple upward glance, hearing God speak in the Book and answering back in broken prayer, often knows more of the secret joy than the most word-perfect theologian who has never been broken and made low. The love of God to His people is omnipotent; it conquered God Himself and brought Him down to Bethlehem and Golgotha. Has that same love conquered your pride, your self-righteousness, your restless striving to be something before Him? When you can truly say, "I love Him because He first loved me," then your prayers will take wing and soar into the very presence-chamber of the King.

Therefore, go on asking to be filled with the knowledge of His will, for He delights to give liberally. But mingle your asking with a holy receiving. The feast is spread; do not stand at the door describing the dishes and reciting the menu, come in and eat. O taste and see that the Lord is good! The saints' love to God is not a thing to be pumped up by long petitions, but a deep, abiding principle flowing from the certainty that we are His and He is ours. "And this I do find, we two are so joined, He'll not be in Glory and leave me behind." Let that be your song, and you shall find that joy in God is the happiest of all joys, an elevating joy, a solid joy, an abiding joy that no tribulation can smother.

One word more. You pray to be kept from evil people, from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power. Then turn from them, as the text commands, but turn with a tender heart. Love one another with a pure heart fervently, for he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him. Never despise the weak beginner. Never sneer at the brother of little talent who sows his handful of corn in faith. The might of God is gentleness; His great heart is all compassion. Let yours be so as well, and you shall walk in paths of righteousness, hearing the Shepherd's voice, until faith is lost in sight and prayer in endless praise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for love to abound, and this is a worthy prayer, for love is the very bond of perfection. But see that your love is not a blind affection, for Paul himself prays that love may abound "in knowledge and all discernment." There is a love that destroys, when it embraces without judgment, when it receives spurious doctrine under the pretense of affection. So seek love, but love that distinguishes, that tests, that chooses the things most excellent. Let it not be a love that merely feels, but one that serves the truth and builds up the body of Christ without causing any to stumble.

Consider how the apostle also prays for a walk worthy of the Lord, fruitful in every good work, strengthened with all power. This is the love that is not idle but steadfast. The soul founded on the rock of Christ's commands stands unmoved when the floods rise. Afflictions will come, false accusations, trials of many kinds, but the one who keeps these words will not be shaken. Therefore do not merely ask for joy and love; ask for the patience and longsuffering that quench the fire of anger and hold firm against the assaults of the evil one. The shield of faith, the weapon of love, these make a wall compacted and solid where the adversary cannot enter.

And as you pray for wisdom and to be led by the Spirit, remember that the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Do not let disputes over lesser things disrupt the peace. Love suffers long, rejoices with those who rejoice, weeps with those who weep. This is the mark of a child of God: to feel compassion even for those who suffer, to delight in the prosperity of others without envy. That is a noble temper indeed, to join in another's joy as though it were your own. In this you root out bitterness and make the body of Christ firm.

You also plead for deliverance from evil and from those who deceive. Rightly so, for many in these last days have a form of godliness but deny its power. Turn away from such, but turn toward your brothers with a love that is warm and true. The devil's snare is often to present sin under a show of devotion, to cause division even where there is a pretense of piety. Hold fast to what you have been taught, love one another as Christ loved you, and let that love be seen in your steadfastness. For the one who abides in love abides in God, and no trial, no deceit, can shake that soul. Therefore pursue love, but always with eyes open, with wisdom from above, that you may be sincere and without offence until the day of Christ.
