Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love that's been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5 We are admonished to pursue love, BUT earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the love You have so richly poured out upon us. Your Word reminds us, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). This love is not merely a feeling but a transformative power that reshapes our lives, enabling us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.

We earnestly desire to pursue love, as You have commanded, but not a love that is shallow or self-serving. We seek the love that edifies the body of Christ, that abounds in knowledge and discernment, and that enables us to choose what is excellent and pleasing in Your sight. "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God" (Philippians 1:9-11). Father, let this love take root in our hearts, that we may be blameless and sincere, reflecting Your image to a world in desperate need of Your truth.

We ask for wisdom, Lord, for wisdom is the principal thing. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will in every situation, that we may walk in paths of righteousness and justice. Lead us by Your Holy Spirit, for "as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God" (Romans 8:14). May we hear the voice of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and follow Him faithfully, for He knows the way that leads to life (John 10:4-5, 27).

We are grateful for Your protection, Father, and for the angels You have assigned to minister to us. "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14). We take refuge in You, knowing that no evil shall befall us, nor any plague come near our dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). Deliver us from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). Keep us from deception, for many false prophets and deceivers have gone out into the world, seeking to lead astray even the elect if it were possible (Matthew 24:4). Strengthen us to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, for such people are dangerous and destructive (2 Timothy 3:5).

Father, we do not ask to be taken out of the world, but we pray that You would keep us from the evil one. "I do not pray that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one" (John 17:15). Shield us with Your favor, as with a large shield, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). We thank You in advance for the answers to our prayers, for we know that in Christ, all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20).

We stand in the assurance that You are perfecting us in every good work to do Your will, working in us that which is well pleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever (Hebrews 13:21). May we grow in the knowledge of You, being strengthened with all power according to the might of Your glory, so that we may have endurance, patience, and joy (Colossians 1:9-12). Let us bear fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God, and may our lives bring glory and praise to Your holy name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is in His name that we have access to You, our Father, and it is through His blood that we are redeemed. May our lives be a living testimony to the power of the Gospel, and may we always seek to honor You in all that we do. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer, it’s so full of scripture and longing for a love that truly knows and chooses the best. We can sense your heart is set on following Jesus with everything.

One thing we’ve learned in our own pursuit of discernment is that it often grows not by striving for more knowledge, but by learning to listen quietly to God and to ourselves. The voices of fear, past wounds, or even a sincere desire to do right can sometimes sound so loud that they drown out the gentle lead of the Spirit. It takes some honest self-awareness to recognize what’s coming from us and what’s genuinely from Him. So a practical step you might take alongside your rich prayers is to set aside a few minutes of silence after you’ve poured out your heart, simply asking, “Lord, help me know my own heart so I can hear Yours more clearly.” Over time, that stillness builds trust and makes His voice more distinct.

We’re praying that your love will indeed abound in all discernment and that you’ll walk consistently in His will.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this child of Yours who so deeply desires to be led by You. Quiet every competing voice, and give them a deep, settled peace about the next step. Open their ears to hear Your voice and their heart to follow without hesitation. In Your name, amen.

There is no sweeter incense that can rise from the heart of a believer than this very cry, that love may abound yet more and more, and that in all knowledge and discernment, that ye may approve things that are excellent. Here is the mark of a soul truly taught of God, not seeking carnal wisdom nor the applause of men, but panting after the love of God shed abroad in the heart, and a walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing. This prayer, so richly woven with the very words of Scripture, shows that the Spirit Himself has been the Prompter, for such petitions are not born of the flesh. When a man prays to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, he is already tasting of that fruit of righteousness which is by Jesus Christ.

Pursue love, then, with all your might, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but chiefly that ye may edify the church and bring glory to Christ. True love is no idle sentiment; it is the spark of that eternal flame which burned on Calvary, where God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Oh, let that love constrain you! A love that is born only of gratitude for mercies received will soon grow cold, but a love that beholds the Giver in the gift, that looks past the rings upon the fingers to gaze into the eyes of the Beloved, this love grows deeper, stronger, more intense, till it cries out with the spouse, “I am sick of love.” Do you love Him? Then give your love an opportunity of expressing itself. Look your Saviour in the face and tell Him, “Do not I love Thee, O my Lord? Behold my heart and see.”

You have asked for practical wisdom, that you may distinguish between things that differ and choose the highest. This is the way of wisdom, and it is a path that no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen. The worldly wise stumble at the cross, counting it foolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. His will, His way, His time, these are always best. When He leads us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake, though they wind through the valley of shadow, the Shepherd’s voice is our safety. Keep thy ear open to that voice; the sheep know not the map of the journey, but they know the Shepherd, and a stranger will they not follow.

You pray to be kept from the evil one, to be led not into temptation, to have the peace of God as a garrison about your heart. This is the very prayer of Christ for His own, that they should be kept from the evil, though in the world. Fear not, little flock; it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. He hath given His angels charge over thee, and the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him. Yet abiding safety lies not in angels, but in the love of God from which nothing shall separate us. This is love abiding, remaining constant to its object, notwithstanding all the provocations which have grieved it. Your feelings may ebb and flow, but His love is a deep sea that knows no tide; what was there at first is there still, and shall be there when sun and moon grow dim with age.

See to it that this love begets likeness. You asked that you might walk worthy of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God. Growth in knowledge is not the puffing up of the head, but the humbling of the heart, a deeper acquaintance with His perfections, a fuller joy in His person. The more you know Him, the more you will love Him; and the more you love Him, the more you will become like Him. For a man to love Christ is a great thing, but for Christ to love him, this is the miracle of miracles. Yet it is so, and being so, let it constrain you to live unto Him who died and rose again.

Let your love give itself full exercise, for it is by loving that we learn to love more. Rehearse His deeds of grace toward you. Tell out to your own soul the story of the cross, the empty tomb, the intercession within the veil. Here is food for love: eat, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved. Let nothing lie by; take in the whole truth concerning His person and love by meditation, contemplation, and reverent simplicity. And then, let that love overflow to the household of faith, for he that loveth Him that begat loveth him also that is begotten. May your love be not a matter of mere talk, but real, practical, active, a love which never falie th, for love is of God, and God is love.

Stand perfectly assured in all the will of God. This is your inheritance as children led by the Spirit. The path of the truly wise is a narrow one, but it leads to life eternal. It is a path where the vulture’s eye hath not seen, and the lion’s whelps have not trodden, but the blood-bought pilgrim finds it by the light of the Word and the leading of the Spirit. Walk therein with joy, giving thanks unto the Father who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. For all the promises of God in Christ are yea and amen, to the glory of God by us. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray well when you ask that love may abound yet more and more, for this is a debt that must always remain owing, a measure that stops nowhere. But see that you love with knowledge and all discernment, not merely with a blind affection that embraces all alike. There is a love that springs from want of feeling, weak and harmful, but the love born of wisdom distinguishes the excellent from the spurious. So let your love be with judgment, that you may be sincere and without offense before both God and men, approving the things that are truly profitable. For many friendships bring hurt under the guise of love, and heresies counterfeit the truth. Be not deceived: the path of virtue is narrow and painful, and the hypocrite will not endure it, but the genuine soul walks it with ready mind.

You ask for practical wisdom, to be led by the Spirit in paths of righteousness. This is the highest philosophy. Wisdom from above is not the curious research of this age, which God counts as folly. The world’s wisdom appears wise to the world, but the spiritual man discerns all things, while he himself is judged by no one. Do not seek virtue as a hireling, for a reward, else you will never truly love it. Rather, pursue it with joy, as a pathway that of itself leads to every good. For if you love your neighbor as yourself, envying not, wishing all good, you will have no need of sweat and labor; love is the fulfilling of the law.

You pray to be kept from evil and deception. This is needful, for many will wear the mask of godliness but deny its power. Examine them not by outward show but by the narrow way they walk. Let your own life be so firmly rooted in the fear of God that all corruptible things will be added unto you. And when you pray for angels’ service and deliverance from temptation, know that God’s keeping is often through your own sober vigilance. You ask to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God. This assurance comes as you abide in love that discerns, that chooses the highest things, that remains steadfast even when the world counts it foolishness.

Remember Paul’s example: he stayed with the Philippians for their progress and joy in the faith, though departing to be with Christ was far better. So let your own pursuit of love be for the edification of Christ’s church, not seeking your own ease. And if you would have your household full of blessings, begin with teaching the fear of God, speaking with grace, and banishing that word “mine”, for all things are common in the body of Christ, and the husband has no power over his own body. In this manner you will shame the devil and bind hearts together in unbreakable love.

Finally, let your prayer for wisdom to choose the highest options be answered as you daily test and approve what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Do not love the world’s wisdom or fear its dangers; for the wisdom of God, though hidden from the rulers of this age, is ordained for our glory. The peace that guards hearts and minds will keep you as you set your love on things above, sincere and without offense until the day of Christ.

The prayer you have lifted up is a mighty one, grounded not in fleeting emotion but in the eternal fabric of Scripture. What makes this cry so powerful is precisely what you have acknowledged: you are asking for a love that abounds in knowledge and discernment. This is the very opposite of a shallow sentiment. The world often mistakes a passing feeling or a grasping desire for love, confusing it completely with lust. But when you pray for the wisdom to choose the highest, most excellent way, you are tapping into the reality that true love is anchored in the will. It is a choice. God made it so, because love from a being without choice is meaningless. He wants your love to be a freely given surrender, a decision to follow His voice because you know the Shepherd's character.

This wisdom you are asking for is better than rubies. It is that personified understanding that dwells with prudence and leads in the path of righteousness. When you ask for the discernment to tell the difference between what is merely earthly and what is God's perfect will, you are seeking the very mind of Christ. This discernment is your practical protection. It allows you to see that the temptation presented is not always an ugly, repulsive thing. It can appear perfect in wisdom and beauty, just as the adversary presents himself. Yet a heart filled with a love that abounds in true knowledge will spot the deadly hook hidden beneath the attractive bait. It will know that an impatient desire pushing you outside of God's ordained order is a counterfeit, and that a love which is pure is patient enough to wait for God's timing.

Your prayer for deliverance from evil and for the strength to walk without giving offense to the gospel aligns with this. You are not asking to be taken out of the world, but to be kept from the evil one while living right in the middle of a crooked generation. The shield of favor and the guarding peace you claimed are your inheritance as a child led by the Spirit. It is the path of the righteous, who are seen by God as blameless even amidst the corruption because their trust is in Christ, the ark of salvation. This is the walk worthy of the Lord, bearing the image of your Father consistently, not by gritting your teeth, but by being strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. His Spirit is ministering that love and power to you right now, filling you with the practical wisdom and joyful endurance you have requested. Walk in that assurance. You have asked perfectly to be filled with the knowledge of His will, and He who has qualified you will faithfully lead you in it.
