Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love, Rom 5:5, pursuing Your love, and earnestly desiring its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of tChrist's beloved church, 1 Cor 14:1, We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the love that God has so richly demonstrated toward us, even while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the desire to walk in the fullness of God’s love, wisdom, and purpose, and we join with you in seeking His will in all things.

Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You and the power to live a life that honors You. We echo the apostle Paul’s prayer in 1 Corinthians 14:1, that we would pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially those that edify the church. Let Your love abound in us more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that we may discern what is best and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).

We ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:9-12). Father, we long to stand perfectly assured in all Your will, led by the Holy Spirit in paths of righteousness and justice, hearing the voice of Jesus, our Good Shepherd (Romans 8:14, John 10:27).

We also lift up a plea for protection, Lord. Deliver us from evil, deception, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Keep us from those who would lead us astray, who claim to know You but deny You by their actions (Titus 1:16). Guard our hearts and minds with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, as we trust in You (Philippians 4:6-7). Thank You for the angels You have sent to minister to us (Hebrews 1:14), and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us.

Father, we recognize that true love and wisdom flow from a heart fully surrendered to You. We rebuke any spirit of complacency or worldly thinking that would seek to dilute the purity of Your truth. Help us to walk in holiness, fleeing from sexual immorality, impurity, and lust (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Let our relationships reflect Your design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, built on Christ as the foundation (Ephesians 5:22-33). May we pursue godly courtships with the goal of marriage, honoring You in all our interactions.

We pray for those who may be struggling with sin or deception, that they would turn to You in repentance and find forgiveness and restoration. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let no one be deceived by empty words, for because of such things Your wrath comes on those who are disobedient (Ephesians 5:6).

Finally, we declare that all God’s promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). We thank You in advance for Your answers to our prayers, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. May we live each day in a way that brings glory to Your name, walking in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Your prayer rises from a deep, genuine place, we can sense the longing to walk in love, sharp discernment, and the full, pleasing will of God. It’s beautiful to see someone pressing into the apostolic prayers as a living conversation, not just a formula.

One thing that has steadied us when we ache for the highest is remembering that spiritual growth is more like a long, quiet training than a single leap. ### once pointed out that you can’t simply try to run a marathon; you train for it over years. The same is true of abounding in love with all discernment. Your prayer itself is part of that training, the repeated turning of the heart toward God, even when the answers feel slow. And because the Spirit works in each of us uniquely, God’s way of growing this in you won’t look exactly like anyone else’s path, and that’s not a flaw; it’s his care.

So as you keep asking for that practical wisdom to choose the highest, maybe today you can identify one ordinary moment, a conversation, a decision, an interruption, where you deliberately pause and ask, “Lord, what does love with genuine discernment look like right here?” Not a giant leap, but a small, obedient step. That’s where the fruit grows, often unnoticed at first.

We’re praying with you:

Father, thank you for the hunger in this dear one’s heart, to pursue love, to abound in knowledge and discernment, and to walk worthy of you. Strengthen them according to your glorious might for all steadfastness and patience, with joy. Fill them with a deeper knowledge of your will, not as a distant concept but as daily bread, moment by moment. Guard them from confusion and the evil one, and help them recognize the gentle leading of your Spirit in the small, concrete choices today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You set your heart upon a noble petition, praying that love may abound in all knowledge and discernment, that you may approve things that are excellent. This is well, for love without knowledge can be a wild fire, burning without light, and knowledge without love puffs up and makes a ruin of the soul. The apostle links these together that we might be sincere and without offence, filled with the fruits of righteousness. Let it sink deep into your spirit, love is the root, but knowledge and discernment are the sun and the pruning knife. True love is not a blind impulse; it has eyes set in its heart by the Spirit of God, and it chooses the highest, the most excellent way, because it loves Christ supremely. If you would have this abounding love, you must gaze long into the face of Him who first loved you. The Cross is the window through which the love of God is best seen. There, where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. You cannot grasp this by a hasty glance. You must tarry at Golgotha till the melting power of the Holy Ghost makes you feel the height and depth, the length and breadth of that love which surpasses knowledge. When your heart is filled with the love of Christ, as a vessel sunk into the sea is filled with the ocean, then shall your love overflow toward the brethren. Love is the essential mark of the true child of God. If you would walk worthy of the Lord, you must put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

You ask to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. This is a thing greatly to be desired. But remember, the revealed will of God, written in the pages of this Book, is your sure guide. We need not climb to heaven to bring Christ down, nor descend into the deep to bring Him up from the dead. The Word is near you. The lover of God’s law shall have great peace, and nothing shall offend him. Meditate on it day and night. Make it the companion of your solitary hours. Its precepts are not grievous; its paths are paths of righteousness and justice. Alongside this written Word, trust the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit. He is the guide of your youth; He shall be the guide of your old age. Leave everything to Him, all the way from earth to heaven, and be content to live only a day at a time. The fiery pillar and the cloudy pillar shall direct your steps. Do not quarrel with God’s providential will. If He smiles, it is love; if He chastens, it is love still. Everything He does to His people is love, sometimes disguised, but always present. Thus, joyous thanksgiving arises, not from seeing all the road before you, but from the deep assurance that He who marked out the path is Himself walking it with you.

You cry out to be kept from evil, from deception, from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power. This is a prayer that pleases the heart of your Heavenly Father. But hear this tender warning from the Word: true love for Christ will make you take a holy vengeance upon your own sins. If you have a truly jealous love for Him, you will say, concerning anything linked with evil, “I must not do this.” The Lord has promised, “I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth.” The very memory of the sin we once cherished must become bitter to our taste. Avoid the very appearance of evil; keep clear of its borders. Do not imagine you can play with the serpent and not be bitten. The world will always try to drag you down to its own level, but you are called to the mountaintop. Stand fast, therefore, not in your own strength, but by the might of His glory, attaining steadfastness and patience with joy. The whole of your perseverance rests upon the absolute will of God, not upon the fickle will of the creature. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

As you go forward, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. The motive for this holy diligence must be drawn from the unseen realities. You do not serve a dead Christ, but a risen Redeemer! Death is swallowed up in victory; therefore your labor is not in vain in the Lord. The practical must ever flow from the doctrinal like wine from the clusters of the grape. Because you are rooted in the love of God, because you are qualified by grace to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, walk worthy of your calling all the days of your pilgrimage. And as you journey, let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, garrison your heart and mind like a fortress. The Lord has loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness has He drawn you. This love will not let you go. Not a hair of your head shall perish; no plague shall come near your dwelling, for He has given His angels charge over you. Rest in that perfect assurance, and let your days be filled with the joy of the Lord, which is your strength. So shall you stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, an epistle of Christ, seen and read by all men, to the praise of the glory of His grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for love to abound in knowledge and all discernment is right and apostolic. But beware: love without knowledge is not love, but want of feeling. The Apostle prayed that your love might abound yet more and more, but “in knowledge and all discernment,” so that you may approve the things that are excellent. For many under the name of love receive spurious doctrines and are spoiled. To love all with the same blind affection is no virtue; it is to be led like sheep by any wolf in shepherd’s clothing. Therefore, love, but let your love be with judgment, that you may be sincere and without offense before God and men, and that no one stumble because of a friendship that is not according to Christ.

Do not suppose that true love is shown only to those who love you back, or even only to the household of faith. The heathen and the heretic, even the enemy, are your brothers by nature, though they be vile and unprofitable. Love them for God’s sake, pity them, weep for them, and wear yourself out for their salvation. This is the love that makes us like God, not working wonders but showing mercy and long‑suffering. If you would be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect, let your love reach even those who hate you.

Yet with this love you must also be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. A sheep cannot escape the wolves by love alone; it must have wisdom from above. And the wisdom that is from above is not the wisdom of this world, which God made foolish. The world’s wisdom puffs up, but the spiritual wisdom is a hidden mystery, foreordained before the ages for our glory. Seek that wisdom, and you will distinguish between things that differ: between the good, the acceptable, and the perfect will of God.

You ask to be kept from evil people and impostors. That is a necessary prayer, but do not think you can avoid all such contact without leaving the world. Instead, be vigilant that their deception never enters your soul through a false charity. If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. If any friendship, even one that bears the name of Christ, leads you toward error or sin, cut it off. This is not harshness, but the severest kindness, both to yourself and to the other. For nothing is more cruel than to let a brother perish in his sin under the cloak of love.

Remember also that the passions within you are far more dangerous than any external foe. The love of money, of praise, of ease, these are insatiable serpents that devour the soul. They will make you laugh at hell and despise the kingdom, just to satisfy their demands. You must kill them, or they will kill you. The only potion that destroys these worms is the precious Blood of Christ, received with full assurance, together with the divine Scriptures and almsgiving. Without mortifying these affections, all your finer prayers for love and discernment will be fruitless.

When you pray for the knowledge of God’s will and for strength to walk worthily, do not make the mistake of demanding immediate answers. Look at the blessed Paul: he thrice besought the Lord and was refused, and he gave thanks. He longed to see the Romans, yet submitted to God’s delay without murmuring. So you also, give thanks in all things, whether you receive what you ask or not. True love and true wisdom learn to trust the Hand that governs all, as clay in the potter’s hands.

Finally, let your whole aim be that God may be glorified in you. If you live aright, you will not only save yourself but also be the means of others’ salvation, and God will be praised. If you do otherwise, you will cause His name to be blasphemed. Therefore, whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord, not men, whether you are bond or free. Stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God, not by anxious striving, but by prayer, thanksgiving, and a ready obedience that walks in the good works prepared for you.

You are reaching for something true when you cry out for love to abound in discernment and for wisdom to choose what is highest. So many take the word love and flatten it down to a feeling or a fleeting physical impulse, something that rises and falls with circumstance. The Scriptures treat love differently. The love shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit is not a hunger that takes for itself. It is the divine, self-giving love that looked upon us while we were still sinners and gave the Son. That is the kind of love worth pursuing with everything you have. When you ask to receive that love freely, you are asking for what cannot be bought or manufactured. It is uncaused by us, unquenchable, and it flows out simply to be accepted.

Your prayer is shot through with a desire to know the will of God, to be filled with spiritual wisdom so that your walk is worthy of Him. That very desire tells me the Spirit is already at work in you. The world has its own version of wisdom, the kind that boasts and envies and leads to strife. That wisdom is earthly and sensual, and it will never lead you to true righteousness or lasting joy. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, full of mercy. It is better than rubies. It cries out in the streets, asking the simple to come and learn. Take hold of that wisdom. Seek her early. Let the fear of the Lord, which is the starting place of all wisdom, teach you to hate evil rather than to calculate with it.

You also asked to be kept sincere, blameless, and steadfast. That is a prayer for love to perfect its work in you. Real love does not just aim at high ideals; it guards the way you walk day by day. When you ask that nothing in your life would give offense to the gospel or cause your own faith to stumble, you are asking to be led in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. The Spirit who is love will lead you there. He will strengthen you with power according to His glorious might so that you attain steadfastness and patience. That is not gritting your teeth to endure; it is joyously giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. Your qualification rests on what Christ has done, not on your fumbling attempts to get things right. So let that deep assurance hold you steady.

You prayed for practical wisdom, for the leading of the Holy Spirit, and for the voice of the Shepherd to be clear. Child of God, that is your inheritance. The one who laid down His life for the sheep still speaks through His word and by His Spirit. He goes before you. The way will not always look obvious to the natural eye, but wisdom and prudence dwell together. As you seek Him early, you will find that the path opens up, not because you have all the answers, but because you are following the One who is the way. Keep asking for wisdom without doubting. The Father gives generously.

The world is full of deception, evil people, and empty forms of godliness that deny the transforming power. Your prayer to be kept from the evil one is exactly what Jesus taught His disciples to pray. You are not asking to escape the world but to be shielded in the midst of it. The peace of God that surpasses all comprehension will mount guard over your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. That is not a fragile peace; it is the garrison of God Himself standing watch over the inner chambers of your life. Rest there. Do not let anxiety drive you to grasp for a wisdom that merely mimics the world. Instead, let your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving, and then trust the answer that comes wrapped in His perfect love.

Let love be your highest aim. Not the thin, watery thing that passes for love in common speech, but the substantial, weighty presence of God Himself living through you. As you remain in that love, you will walk in a manner worthy of Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing ever deeper in the knowledge of God. He who called you is faithful, and He will do it.
