🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Consistently Knowing God Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12

Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father, help us in our pursuit of Your love, earnestly desiring spiritual gifts, especially the edification of the church and all that gift entails, 1 Cor 14:1, we ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to pursue love as You have commanded us. Your Word tells us, "Follow after love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1 WEB). We recognize that love is the greatest of all gifts, and it is through love that we edify the body of Christ and bring glory to Your name.

Father, we echo the apostle Paul’s prayer in Philippians 1:9-11 (WEB): "This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." Fill us with this love, Lord, that it may overflow in wisdom and discernment, enabling us to choose what is highest and most excellent in Your sight. Let our lives be a reflection of Your perfect will, blameless and sincere, so that we may bear the fruits of righteousness that come only through Jesus Christ.

We also lift up the prayer of Colossians 1:9-12 (WEB): "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light." Father, fill us with the knowledge of Your will, that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, pleasing You in every way. Strengthen us with Your power, that we may endure with joy, always giving thanks for the inheritance we have in Christ.

We stand on the promise that "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Grant us practical wisdom, Lord, that we may discern Your will in every situation. Lead us by Your Holy Spirit, as Your Word declares, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God" (Romans 8:14 WEB). Guide us in paths of righteousness and justice, that we may hear the voice of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and follow Him faithfully (John 10:4-5, 27 WEB).

We thank You for the ministry of angels, who are "sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:14 WEB). Protect us from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver us from deception, fear, and all that seeks to draw us away from You. We pray as Jesus taught us, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13 WEB). Shield us with Your favor, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Father, we recognize the times we live in are filled with deception and those who claim to know You but deny You by their actions (2 Timothy 3:5, 13 WEB). Keep us from such influences and strengthen us to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power. We pray for discernment to recognize and resist the evil one and his schemes, standing firm in the truth of Your Word.

We rejoice in the assurance that "all the promises of God in him are ‘Yes,’ and in him ‘Amen,’ to the glory of God through us" (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB). We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness, knowing that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14 WEB).

Lord, we surrender our hearts, minds, and wills to You. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in love, wisdom, and obedience. May our lives bring glory and praise to Your name, now and forevermore. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful, Scripture-soaked prayer. We can sense your deep desire to walk in wholehearted love, sharp discernment, and joyful consistency before God. That kind of longing is itself evidence of the Spirit’s work in you, drawing you closer to the heart of Jesus.

One thing we’ve found helpful when asking for wisdom and direction is to remember that discernment often grows as we handle the small, everyday moments faithfully, not just the crisis points. The very habit of praying this way, regularly, honestly, with your whole heart, reshapes your instincts over time. So we want to encourage you to keep praying these apostolic prayers, perhaps even speaking them aloud with a trusted brother or sister in Christ, and then to take a few quiet minutes after you pray simply to listen. Sometimes the Spirit will bring a specific relationship, a concrete next step, or a gentle course correction to mind as you wait.

As you pursue love and the highest things, rest in this: you are not striving to earn what is already yours in Christ. He has qualified you, and He faithfully leads those who ask.

Father, thank You for this dear child’s hunger for love that abounds in real knowledge and discernment. Fill them anew with a clear sense of Your will in the ordinary and the extraordinary. Strengthen them with all power, according to Your glorious might, so they may walk in a manner worthy of You and bear lasting fruit, with joy. In Jesus’ name.

You are pouring out your soul in words that rise like incense, and every phrase is a reaching after the very heart of God. You ask for love to abound, for discernment to choose the highest, for a walk that is worthy, and for a joy that holds steady through every shifting circumstance. I see in your prayer a soul that is not content to skirt the shallows but longs to launch out into the deep waters of knowing God. And that very longing is already His finger on the helm of your heart.

When you plead, “Fill us with the knowledge of Your will,” you are not asking for a cold map of duties. You are begging for the living compass of a Person. Christ Himself is the wisdom of God, and when you have Him you have all the light you need for the next step. The way may not open before you like a sunlit plain; it may be more like a path through a wood at dusk, where you can only see as far as your Father’s hand leads you. But trust in the Lord, this is the lever that lifts the heaviest weight, the clue that threads the most tangled labyrinth. He does not demand that you figure out every choice by your own sharpness. He asks you to cling to Him, and in that clinging the decisions are made plain.

Your prayer breathes a holy anxiety about purity, to be sincere and without mixture, to have no hiccup of faith that would cause you to stumble. I want you to take a deep draught of this comfort: the Bridegroom of your soul receives your offerings, not after the measure of their flawlessness, but after the measure of the love that mixes them. Have you ever watched a man gather honey? He takes the comb and all, and does not refuse the wax because the sweetness clings to it. Even so, your Lord gathers your myrrh with your spice, and drinks your wine with your milk. The prayers you stammer out with tears, the service you render with trembling, these are savory to Him because they come from a heart that He Himself planted. The very imperfections you mourn over He knows how to use, for He sees the love that trembles underneath.

You ask for the peace of God to guard you. There is a peace that the world gives, a painted counterfeit that whispers “All is well” while the ship drifts toward the rocks. But true peace is a garrison set around your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. It does not look at the storm and lie about its fury; it looks at the Captain and knows the vessel cannot sink. He has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, not because you have kept your sail so trim, but because He has signed your name in the book of life. The love of God is the fact beneath every other fact, and it deserves a glad and constant avowal. Say it aloud in the face of all your fears: “I love Him because He first loved me.”

So, my dear soul, do not fear that you will miss the highest path. The Lord who formed you will also direct your heart into His love and into the patience of Christ. When you lift your feet, the good Shepherd has already walked that way. He knows the voice of every wolf, and He knows the fold where no thief can enter. Keep your eyes on Him, and you will find that the wisdom you chase after has already come chasing after you. He who began this work will keep the helm of your affections steady until you stand before Him, full and satisfied, with no more need to ask for guidance because the Day has dawned.

Let me lift you now, not in my own poor words, but in a prayer that carries you to the throne.

Lord Jesus, You are the power of God and the wisdom of God for this dear one who hangs upon Your voice. Direct their heart into the wide ocean of Your love, where every wave speaks of faithfulness and every depth holds peace. When choices multiply and the way seems steep, be the lamp at their feet and the anchor for their soul. Take their earnest petitions, yes, and the sighs that have no words, and gather them as sweet spices into Your own storehouse. Let them not walk in a counterfeit calm, but garrison them round with that peace which passes understanding, a peace that neither doubt nor the enemy can breach. Keep them from the lie that would whisper other loves are higher, and fix their gaze on You alone, the fairest of ten thousand. And until the day when knowledge is complete and love is perfect in sight, hold them fast, and give them the joy of a heart that is kept by the keeping of God. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek to grow in love, discernment, and a deeper walk with our Lord. Your heartfelt request, rooted in Scripture and aligned with the apostolic prayers, has been lifted to our Heavenly Father with earnest expectation. We have prayed that God’s love would abound in you more and more, filling you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of Him, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

We have asked our Father to strengthen you with all power according to His glorious might, so that you may attain steadfastness and patience, joyously giving thanks as you share in the inheritance of the saints in light. We have interceded for practical wisdom, that you would be led by the Holy Spirit in paths of righteousness and justice, hearing the voice of Jesus, your Good Shepherd, with clarity and obedience. We have also prayed for protection—from temptation, deception, evil, and those who would seek to lead you astray—trusting that God’s favor would be your shield and His peace would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report, so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory. If, however, the answers have not yet been made clear, we encourage you to post this request again, for we are committed to continuing in prayer with you. Our hearts remain steadfast in agreement with yours, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the fullness of His purposes.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press deeper into His love, wisdom, and will. May He continue to fill you with the knowledge of His desires, guide your steps in righteousness, and surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
