We join with you in thanking God that He does have a great purpose and plan for your life and we agree that you are highly favored through the blood of Jesus. We love your faith to believe God for good things, and we want to pray with you that His perfect will would be done in every area you mentioned.

We hear your desire to speak life into existence a hundredfold and to loosen Deut 28:13 over your life that you will be the head and not the tail. We want to gently correct and encourage you here because God alone is the One who calls into existence the things that do not exist as mentioned in Rom 4:17. Our words have power as Prov 18:21 says, but we do not create reality by declarations. Faith is not a formula to make God give us what we demand, but trusting and obeying Him so that His blessings follow obedience. Deut 28:13 is a beautiful promise, but it is conditional on obedience as the beginning of that chapter says in Deut 28:1-2, if you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God's voice, to observe to do all his commandments, Yahweh your God will set you on high. And that chapter goes on in Deut 28:13 to say Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We pray you will desire obedience even more than the blessing itself, because true success is walking in His ways.

We also hear your heart for a Boaz, for a wonderful boyfriend who follows you and for a good man to share a functional life and home with every weekend, and for provision for a high maintenance lifestyle and a place with room for your family. We rejoice that you desire a godly marriage, for marriage is honorable and should be held in honor by all as Heb 13:4 teaches, and it is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. If you have a boyfriend, we encourage you to see this as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for 2 Cor 6:14 warns not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. We must also lovingly rebuke the idea of seeking a man primarily to afford a high maintenance lifestyle. The Bible calls us to godliness with contentment which is great gain in 1 Tim 6:6, and to learn contentment in whatever state we are in as Phil 4:11 says. A godly woman's beauty is not in outward adornment or costly lifestyle but in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in God's sight as 1 Pet 3:3-4 teaches. A true Boaz, like in the book of Ruth, was not sought for money but was a man of character, faith, and covenant love who honored God and protected Ruth's purity. We also must address that living together before marriage, sharing a home or a couch or a bedroom as an unmarried couple, or having sexual intimacy outside of marriage, is fornication which God calls us to flee from in 1 Cor 6:18. We pray that your love life would not be only alive on weekends but would be preserved pure until marriage, where God intends sexual intimacy to be fully enjoyed within the covenant of marriage. And a man who truly loves you will not simply follow you everywhere, but will lead you spiritually as Christ leads the church as Eph 5:25-27 describes.

We are encouraged that you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved as Acts 4:12 says and as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6. God's purpose for you is ultimately to be conformed to the image of His Son and we know from Rom 8:28 that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose, and Eph 2:10 says we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. His plan is even greater than a house or provision, though He does promise to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as Phil 4:19 says, and He tells us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well in Matt 6:33. We also remember Jer 29:11 for we know the thoughts that we think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and through His shed blood, thanking You for this dear one who desires Your purpose and plan. We ask that You align her heart fully with Your will and that she would walk in obedience so that Your blessings may overtake her. Forgive any mindset that seeks to manipulate Your hand through declarations and teach her to pray according to Your will and to trust Your timing. We ask that You provide for her housing needs, a safe and stable home where she and her family can be sheltered, and that You would give her contentment and humility rather than a spirit of high maintenance or materialism. Lord, if it is Your will, bring into her life a godly husband, a true Boaz, a man who loves You first, who will lead, provide, and cherish her in holy marriage, and keep them both pure until that covenant day. Guard her from fornication and from any relationship that does not honor You, and help her to pursue courtship that leads to marriage with another believer. Make her the head and not the tail as she walks in Your commandments, and let her life be a testimony of Your favor not for selfish gain but for Your glory. We declare that Your purpose will stand and that You will establish her steps as she delights in You according to Ps 37:4. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your words have been heard, and in them we perceive a heart longing for purpose, for provision, and for love that endures. It is right to desire that your life should answer to the good purpose of God, for as the Scripture teaches, He is in one mind and who can turn Him, what His soul desireth that He doeth. In every event of Providence God has a purpose, and that purpose is unchanged and sure to be effected. It is not our speaking that brings things to pass, but His sovereign will. We are to labor and to pray in submission to Him, not to decree life into existence by our own words, for we cannot command blessing by repeating a verse.

You have loosened, as you say, Deuteronomy 28:13, I am the head and not the tail. That word was spoken to Israel under the covenant, with promise tied to hearkening diligently unto the voice of the Lord and keeping His commandments. The headship there is not a charm for personal favor or for obtaining a man or a house according to our own desires, but the fruit of obedience and of walking in His ways. True favor is to be found in Christ alone, through His blood shed for sinners, by which we are reconciled to God. Apart from salvation through Jesus Christ alone there is no lasting favor, no true headship, no secure home.

You speak of a Boaz and of a wonderful boyfriend who follows you, and of a desire for a man who can afford a high maintenance life and provide a home where family may stay. Hear with love what the Lord has shown concerning these things. Boaz in the Scripture was not a follower after a woman, but a godly man of character and substance who acted with honor, restraint and covenant faithfulness, seeking marriage before the elders and before God. The Lord has set forth marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He reserves both the union of bodies and the making of one household for that covenant alone. To live together, to share a bed or a couch as if married before marriage, though it may seem needful or convenient, runs against this holy order. God was a Husband unto His people, we read, in that He set His special love upon them, communed with them most lovingly, and with all His goods did endow them. Would it be right that we should claim Him as our Husband and yet not regard His way for the household He ordains.

It is also needful to consider the desire to be high maintenance and to be afforded as such. The Scripture calls us not to set our hope upon outward provision or upon a man to maintain us in such a manner, but to seek first a godly fear and a contented heart in Christ. A home with an extra bedroom for family is a good and hospitable desire, yet it will be a blessing indeed only when it is sought and kept in purity, in self control, and in honest dependence upon the Lord and upon lawful industry.

Therefore we cannot affirm or celebrate a boyfriend relationship as it stands, nor can we ask God to bless a union outside the covenant of marriage or to grant success to a life ordered around being maintained by another. That would be to ask Him to bless what His Word does not call blessed.

Our prayer for you is of another kind, and we trust it is for your truest good. We pray that you may know Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Husband in the heavenly sense, that He may commune with you and provide for you out of His riches. We pray that He would grant you repentance where it is needed, faith to rest in His one unchanging purpose, grace to walk in chastity and godliness, and contentment with such things as you have. If it be His will, we pray He may in His own time bring into your life a godly man who fears the Lord, not merely one who follows you everywhere, but one who will lead in righteousness and who will seek you honorably for marriage, with vows kept till death. And we pray He will provide for your daily bread and for a dwelling place that is peaceful and pure, where hospitality may be shown without compromise, and where your love for Christ, which His blood has purchased, may be the life that is truly alive in you.

Seek the Lord Himself more than any gift from His hand, forsake not the way of holiness, and trust that what His soul desireth for you, that He will do, in His wisdom and in His time.
