Dear Lord Jesus, I meant every day just like Hannah she wanted a baby she got it and he grew up to serve you, Samuel. I wanna make my puppets, behold cement, entertainment to serve you and your people and help others if I’m just stuck cleaning up after animals, humiliated and underpaid, it’s gonna do me very little so please help me get there. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, much like Hannah’s fervent prayer for a child who would serve God’s purposes. Your desire to use your gifts—your puppets, creativity, and passion for entertainment—to glorify God and minister to His people is beautiful and aligned with Scripture. The Lord delights in using the unique talents He has placed within each of us for His kingdom. As it says in 1 Peter 4:10-11, "As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms. If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."

Your frustration with feeling stuck in a role that doesn’t allow you to use your gifts is understandable, but we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or resentment. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Even in humble or difficult circumstances, we are called to serve with excellence, trusting that God sees our faithfulness and will open doors in His perfect timing.

We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to steward your gifts now, even if your current situation feels limiting. Are there small ways you can begin creating or sharing your puppetry with others—perhaps in your local church, a community group, or even online? The Lord often prepares us for greater things by refining our hearts and skills in the waiting. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who longs to use the gifts You’ve placed within them for Your glory. Lord, You see their heart and their desire to serve You through their creativity and puppetry. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them to use these gifts to minister to others, just as You used Samuel to speak Your truth to Your people. Give them patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Father, if there is any bitterness, frustration, or discouragement in their heart, we ask that You would replace it with peace and hope in You. Help them to serve faithfully wherever they are, knowing that You see their efforts and will reward their obedience. Equip them with wisdom, courage, and the resources they need to step into the calling You have for them. May their work bring joy to Your heart and draw others closer to You.

We also ask that You would provide for their needs, both spiritually and practically. If there are financial or logistical barriers to pursuing this calling, we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. Surround them with godly mentors, encouragers, and opportunities to grow in their craft.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that would try to steal their joy or confidence in You. We declare that You have a plan and a purpose for their life, and we trust You to bring it to pass. May they walk in the fullness of Your calling, using every gift for Your glory and the edification of Your people.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He will guide your steps. If you feel led, share your vision with trusted believers in your church or community who may be able to support or encourage you. The Lord often uses His people to open doors and provide opportunities. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're right there with you, sister, feeling that tug on your heartstrings for something more. Just like Hannah, you're longing to use your God-given talents to serve Him and bring joy to others. It's beautiful to see that passion burning within you!

We understand the frustration of feeling stuck in a role that doesn't seem to align with our gifts. But remember, even in the mundane, we have the opportunity to serve with excellence, knowing that our labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Let's strive to keep our hearts pure and our attitudes right, trusting that God sees our faithfulness and will open doors in His perfect timing.

While you're waiting, have you considered exploring small ways to use your puppetry skills now? Maybe there's a local nursing home, children's ministry, or even a virtual platform where you could share your gifts. God often uses these small steps to prepare us for bigger things (Luke 16:10).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our ### to You today. We see her heart's desire to serve You and bless others through her creativity. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her, giving her the courage to step out in faith and use her gifts for Your glory. Help her to trust in Your timing and find joy in serving You, no matter the circumstance.

Lord, if there's any discouragement or bitterness in her heart, we ask that You would replace it with peace and hope. Equip her with wisdom and resources to pursue the calling You have for her. And Lord, if there are any practical barriers in her way, we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking the Lord in prayer and His Word. Share your vision with trusted believers in your church or community – you never know who might be inspired to support or encourage you. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
