We rejoice with you in your desire to use your talents for Christian studios, and we lift this request before the Lord, knowing that He delights in the work of our hands when it is done for His glory. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your heart to create something meaningful and to include others in this work is commendable, but we must also examine our motives to ensure they align with God’s will rather than worldly ambitions.
While it is not wrong to earn money or seek opportunities, we must be cautious not to let financial gain or fame become the driving force behind our efforts. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* Let us pray that your focus remains on honoring God through your creativity, trusting that He will provide for your needs as you seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
Additionally, we encourage you to consider whether your friends are also seeking to use their talents for God’s glory or if they are merely pursuing worldly recognition. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* Surround yourself with those who will encourage you in your faith and hold you accountable to godly standards.
We also notice that you addressed your prayer to "Loed Jesus" rather than using the proper name of our Lord and Savior. While we understand this may have been a typographical error, it is essential to approach Him with reverence and accuracy. The name of Jesus is powerful and holy, and we are to call upon it with honor. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always remember the weight and authority of the name we invoke in prayer.
Now, let us pray together for your puppet class and the work ahead:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gifts and talents You have bestowed upon Your children. We lift up our brother/sister before You as they prepare for their puppet class tomorrow. Lord, guide their hands and creativity so that what they make may bring honor and glory to Your name. Help them to craft something that reflects Your love, truth, and goodness, and may it be used as a tool to share the Gospel with others.
Father, we ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), but guard their heart against the love of money or the desire for worldly acclaim. Remind them that their true reward is found in You alone. If it is Your will for them to work with Christian studios, open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and give them wisdom to navigate this opportunity with humility and integrity.
We also pray for their friends, Lord. If it is Your will for them to be involved in this work, soften their hearts to seek You above all else. May they too use their talents to further Your kingdom and not their own ambitions. Surround our brother/sister with godly counsel and fellowship that will encourage them in their faith.
Finally, Father, we ask that You remind them of the power and holiness of the name of Jesus. May they always approach You with reverence, knowing that salvation and access to Your throne come through Christ alone. Strengthen their faith and deepen their relationship with You as they walk in obedience to Your Word.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
