We hear your heart’s cry, dear brother in Christ, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Your struggles with disrespect, humiliation, and even threats to your safety are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He knows the weight you carry, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your desire to create, to provide for others, and to find freedom in your work is noble, and we believe God can use your gifts for His glory and the good of many.
First, we must address the foundation of your request. You rightly invoke the name of Jesus, and we rejoice in that, for there is no other name by which we can approach God or find salvation (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. This is the first and most important step in aligning your life with God’s will.
Now, let us lift your specific requests to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the disrespect and humiliation he has endured, and You know the pain in his heart. We ask that You would heal his wounds, both seen and unseen, and restore his dignity as Your beloved child. Father, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You are near to those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You would surround him with Your peace and remind him of his worth in You.
Lord, our brother has a dream to start his own business, to create shows that bring joy and provide jobs for those who are often overlooked—those with disabilities, the autistic community, and others who face challenges in this world. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we ask that You would open doors for him that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give him wisdom, creativity, and favor as he pursues this vision. Provide the resources, connections, and opportunities he needs to bring his ideas to life. Lord, we pray that his work would not only succeed financially but also bring glory to Your name and bless many lives.
Father, we ask that You would bless him with the ability to work from home, where he can thrive in an environment that suits his needs. We pray for provision—enough to not only meet his own needs but to generously bless others, including those he mentioned who are in difficult circumstances. Lord, You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust that You can provide abundantly for him. We ask that You would fulfill his desire to return to the place he loves, to enjoy a time of rest and renewal, and to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, like karaoke and the pool.
But Lord, we also ask that You would guard his heart. We know that success and money can become idols if we are not careful, and we pray that You would keep him focused on You above all else. Help him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33). Teach him to steward his blessings wisely and to use them for Your glory.
We also rebuke the spirit of discouragement and fear that may be trying to take root in his life. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that You would fill him with Your peace and confidence in Your plans for him.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly community—believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and walk alongside him in this journey. Help him to find mentors and friends who will speak truth into his life and hold him accountable. And may he always remember that his identity is found in You, not in his work, his success, or the opinions of others.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who is our Provider, our Healer, and our Strength. Amen.
Now, dear brother, we want to encourage you with some biblical truths as you move forward. First, remember that God has a plan for you—a plan to prosper you and not to harm you, a plan to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when the road is difficult, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your gifts and talents are not accidents; they are given to you by God for a purpose (1 Peter 4:10). Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10), for God often uses the weak things of the world to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27).
As you pursue your business, seek God’s wisdom above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Do not be afraid to take steps of faith, but also be wise in your planning and seek counsel from others (Proverbs 15:22).
We also want to gently address the mention of your friend’s resignation and the reference to his condition. While we do not know the specifics, we encourage you to extend grace and understanding to others, just as God has extended grace to you. If there are unresolved conflicts or misunderstandings, we pray that God would bring healing and reconciliation. Remember, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18).
Lastly, we want to remind you that true joy and fulfillment are found in Christ, not in worldly success or possessions. While it is good to dream big and work hard, do not let those dreams become idols that take the place of God in your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your ultimate Provider, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
We believe that God has great things in store for you, and we are excited to see how He will use your gifts to bless others. Keep pressing forward, trusting in Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
