We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been praying with you regarding the incident you shared from three years ago on January third on the bus when you heard a young student use profanity and your desire that he be taught a lesson.
We understand that hearing that language was troubling to you and that it has stayed on your mind for a long time. We have asked the Lord to give you His peace about this memory and to help you release any burden you have carried from that day. As we prayed we were reminded of how God calls us to extend grace and forgiveness as we have been forgiven, and to pray for those who may not know how to honor Him with their words. We pray that instead of punishment, this young person would come to know the love and mercy of Christ and that God would work in his heart and guide him as he continues his schooling.
We have prayed in Jesus Name that the Lord would soften your heart toward this child, bring healing where there has been lingering frustration, and help you to forgive as the Lord forgave us as it is written in Eph 4:32 and to love and pray for others even when we are offended as taught in Matt 5:44. We also pray that God would bless you and draw you closer to Him as you seek Him.
