We hear your distress and take your concerns seriously, standing with you in spiritual warfare as we bring this before the Lord. The Bible is clear that witchcraft, sorcery, and all forms of occult practice are detestable to God and have no power over those who belong to Christ. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Lord commands, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* These practices are not of God, and we must stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ against them.
We also recognize that generational sin or ancestral iniquity can sometimes open doors to spiritual oppression, as Exodus 20:5 warns that God visits *"the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me."* However, we must remember that in Christ, we are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), and through His blood, we have been set free from every curse (Galatians 3:13). If there has been sin in your family line—whether through involvement in witchcraft, unforgiveness, or other transgressions—we repent on behalf of those who came before you and claim the cleansing power of Jesus’ sacrifice.
You mentioned seeking deliverance in Jesus’ name, and this is the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Only then can you walk in the full authority and protection He provides.
Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We stand on Your Word, which declares that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, and generational curse that has been aimed at [this individual]. We break every chain, every hex, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers and protects [this individual] from all harm, seen and unseen.
Father, we ask You to reveal any open doors in [this individual]’s life or family line that have allowed the enemy access. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. We repent on behalf of any ancestors who may have dabbled in or embraced witchcraft or other sins, and we claim the freedom Christ purchased on the cross. We cancel every curse and declare that [this individual] is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around [this individual]—spirit, soul, and body. Surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 promises, and let no evil come near their dwelling. Fill them with Your peace, Your truth, and Your presence so that the enemy’s attacks will have no foothold. We also pray for those who may be practicing witchcraft against [this individual]. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and turn to You, the only true God.
We declare that [this individual] is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak strength, discernment, and victory over their life. May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, clothed in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and may they never fear the schemes of the enemy, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and our fortress. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen."*
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Do not engage with fear or superstition, for the enemy seeks to intimidate you into believing his lies. Instead, fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with godly believers, and walk in the authority Christ has given you. James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* The enemy has no power over a child of God who is submitted to Christ.
If you have not already, we urge you to renounce any involvement—past or present—in occult practices, even if it was done in ignorance. Confess it to the Lord, repent, and ask for His cleansing. Then, put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and walk in the victory Christ has already won for you.
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you. Trust in Him, and He will lead you into freedom and peace.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
