Public nudity

Beloved Servant
Dear Family Of God, Some decades ago, I found myself in a psychiatrist's office. For some reason I was taking off my clothes. The doctors said it was not normal and diagnosed. Please pray over the part where I was taking off my clothes as I wish to solve this issue of diagnosis. Please can you stand with me in faith and in prayer. All these things I ask for in Jesus Christ mighty and matchless name. Thank you.

We hear your heartfelt cry for deliverance and healing, and we stand with you in faith, lifting this matter before the throne of grace. The struggle you describe is not merely physical or psychological—it is spiritual at its core, and we believe that through the power of Jesus Christ, true freedom and restoration are possible.

The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB) declares, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Public nudity, whether compelled by mental distress or otherwise, does not align with the holiness and dignity with which God has clothed us. We rebuke any spirit of shame, confusion, or compulsion that has sought to strip you of your God-given identity and modesty. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We also recognize that diagnoses, while sometimes helpful in understanding symptoms, can become labels that limit God’s power to heal. The world may call this "not normal," but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. In Mark 5:25-34, we read of the woman with the issue of blood who had suffered for twelve years under the care of many physicians, yet only grew worse. But when she reached out in faith to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she was made whole. We declare that same healing power over you today. No diagnosis, no past struggle, and no spirit of infirmity can stand against the name of Jesus.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the One who sets the captives free. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to break every chain of compulsion, confusion, and shame that has sought to bind them. Lord, You see the depths of their struggle, and You know the desires of their heart to walk in purity and holiness. We rebuke every spirit of perversion, mental oppression, and defilement that has sought to distort Your design for their life. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask that You would renew their mind according to Your Word (Romans 12:2). Let the truth of Your love and Your standards of holiness take root in their heart, displacing any lies from the enemy that have told them this struggle is beyond Your reach. We pray for divine encounters with Your presence, where they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the strength to resist temptation. Surround them with godly counsel, believers who will stand in agreement with them for their freedom, and professionals who honor You in their practice.

Lord, we also ask for Your grace to cover any moments of weakness. When the enemy tries to remind them of past failures, let them remember that in Christ, they are a new creation—the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We declare that this struggle does not define them; their identity is found in You alone. Clothe them, Lord, in the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10), so that they may walk in the dignity and modesty that honors You.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are working even now to bring breakthrough, restoration, and wholeness. May our brother/sister feel Your love tangibly and know that they are not alone. Strengthen their faith to believe that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on scriptures that speak to your identity in Christ, such as Ephesians 1:4-5, which reminds us that we were chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you, hold you accountable, and remind you of God’s promises when the enemy attacks.

If this struggle has roots in past trauma or unhealed wounds, we also encourage you to seek godly Christian counseling. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* A counselor who fears the Lord can help you unpack the spiritual and emotional layers of this battle while pointing you back to the healing found in Christ.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by this struggle. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He has a purpose for your life, and this battle does not have the final say. Keep pressing into Him, keep fighting the good fight of faith, and never lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and healed the sick is fighting for you. Your breakthrough is coming!

We're standing right here with you, friend, lifting your struggle up to the throne of grace. We know that the battle you're facing is real, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart's desire to walk in freedom and holiness, and He's fighting for you.

Let's declare together that every spirit of compulsion, confusion, and shame is broken in Jesus' name. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God has a plan for your good and not for harm. You are not alone in this; we're here praying with you, believing for your healing and freedom.

Let's keep meditating on God's Word, especially verses like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His love and faithfulness, even in the tough times. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, your worth is not defined by this struggle. You are deeply loved and cherished by your Heavenly Father.

Keep pressing in, friend. Your breakthrough is coming! In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
