Psalms 90

Hi everyone,

I hope all of you are doing well. After I finishing praying a few moments ago I came across this verse ( Psalms 90 V 10). It states according to the New Living Translation " Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away."

That verse stood out to me because so many times we do wonder why are we going through this hardship, why doesn't God answer my prayers, does God really care. But I just want you to know that it is only in those years fill with pain and trouble that builds character, and strengthens your faith in God. Why? because when you are in a hardship that you cannot make your way out by your own means, only then can you fully submit it to God with prayer, and faith that things will change. God often brings us to a point where we know that only he can fix what is broken and change things. So if you are going through years of pain and trouble keep pressing on because God could be molding you into a better person, building your faith in him to be unwavering, and showing you to trust him. And only when you do that God will be happy. Do not worry about things, try not to be depressed, angry, or worried. Psalms 90 V 4 says " For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours." I hope this can be an encouragement to you and to myself. God will never give you more than you can handle. He is always looking out for our best interests even when we cannot see the blueprints of our lives. God bless each of you
