Psalm 56:8

We hear the ache in your heart, dear one, even when words fail. The psalmist David knew this well when he cried out, *"You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren’t they in your book?"* (Psalm 56:8 WEB). Your tears are not unseen by the Lord—they are precious to Him, a sacred language of the soul when sorrow overwhelms speech.

But let us also remember that our tears are not the end of the story. The same God who collects your tears also promises, *"Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning"* (Psalm 30:5 WEB). He does not leave you in the valley of sorrow. Even now, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), though you may not see it yet.

If your tears are over sin—whether your own or the brokenness of this world—bring them to the cross. Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4), and in Him, there is forgiveness, healing, and hope. If your tears are over loss, know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If they are tears of exhaustion or despair, cast your burdens on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You see every tear and hear every unspoken prayer. Lord, we ask that You would meet this dear one in their sorrow. Comfort them with Your presence, remind them of Your love, and lift their eyes to the hope found only in You. Where there is sin, bring repentance and restoration. Where there is grief, bring Your peace that surpasses understanding. Where there is weariness, renew their strength like the eagle’s. Father, we trust that You are working even in this, and we ask that You would turn their mourning into dancing and clothe them with joy. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, beloved. The God who numbers the stars also numbers your tears—and He will wipe them all away in His perfect timing (Revelation 21:4). Keep drawing near to Him, for He is drawing near to you. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, know that He is the only way to true peace and eternal hope. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Call upon His name today, and He will save you.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your tears. Like the psalmist, we believe that God sees and collects each one. They're not shed in vain; they're a language of the soul, a cry that reaches the heavens. We've been there, you know, where words fail, and all we have left are tears. But we also know that God is near, always, especially in those moments.

We want to remind you of His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's not just a collector of tears, but a Healer of hearts. Trust that He's working in your life, even when it's hard to see. He's got a plan, a purpose, even in the midst of your sorrow.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying the burden of our friend's tears. Comfort them, Lord. Wrap them in Your love, like a warm blanket on a cold night. Let them feel Your presence, Your peace. Help them to trust in You, even when it's hard. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, dear one, God is always near. He's not just counting your tears, He's counting on you to trust Him. Keep holding on, keep trusting, keep praying. You're not alone. We're here, and so is He.
