Proverbs, Chapter 3

3:1 My son, do not forget my law; But let your heart keep my commandments:

3:2 For length of days, and years of life, And peace, they will add to you.

3:3 Don't let kindness and truth forsake you: Bind them about your neck;

3:4 So you will find favor and good understanding In the sight of God and man.

3:5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding:

3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will direct your paths.

3:7 Don't be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil:

3:8 It will be health to your navel, And marrow to your bones.

3:9 Honor Yahweh with your substance, And with the first fruits of all your increase:

3:10 So your barns will be filled with corn, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

3:11 My son, don't despise the chastening of Yahweh; Neither be weary of his reproof:

3:12 For whom Yahweh loves he reproves; Even as a father the son in whom he delights.

3:13 Happy is [the] man who finds wisdom, And [the] man who gets understanding.

3:14 For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And its profit than fine gold.

3:15 She is more precious than rubies: And none of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.

3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.

3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace.

3:18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold on her: And happy is everyone who retains her.

3:19 Yahweh by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding he established the heavens.

3:20 By his knowledge the depths were broken up, And the skies drop down the dew.

3:21 My son, don't let them depart from your eyes; Keep sound wisdom and discretion:

3:22 So they will be life to your soul, And grace to your neck.

3:23 Then you will walk in your way securely, And your foot will not stumble.

3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid: Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.

3:25 Don't be afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes:

3:26 For Yahweh will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being taken.

3:27 Don't withhold good from them to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do it.

3:28 Don't say to your fellow man, Go, and come again, And tomorrow I will give; When you have it by you.

3:29 Don't devise evil against your fellow man Who dwells securely by you.

3:30 Don't strive with man without cause, If he has done you no harm.

3:31 Don't envy the man of violence, And choose none of his ways.

3:32 For the perverse is disgusting to Yahweh; But his friendship is with the upright.

3:33 The curse of Yahweh is in the house of the wicked; But he blesses the habitation of the righteous.

3:34 Surely he scoffs at the scoffers; But he gives grace to the lowly.

3:35 The wise will inherit glory; But shame will be the promotion of fools.

One day at a time sweet Jesus, that is all I am asking to do. Just give me the strenght to do every day. what I have to do. Yesterday is gone sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be nigh. Lord help me today, show me the way. One day at a time. Precious Jesus, I come to your holy throne asking for direction and please save all my loved ones and my friends and all my coworkers who are unsaved right now. Please Jesus touch their hearts and souls. Change their lives we pray. fill them with your love and compassion we pray. So your barns will be filled with corn.  Proverbs 3.10a  Yes Lord, your blessings will flow when we are doing your will. Our barns will be full because you have blessed us abundantly and we must share what we have with the poor, the hungry, the naked and visit the sick.  Blessed Lord, take our hands and lead us to heaven. In Your name. Amen

Lord Jesus I ask for mercy and compassion. Let me not implore in vain. All of my sins I now destest them because all of them have offended Thee. When the woman was brought befor Jesus and the acusers told Him that she was an adulterous women and should be stoned. Jesus replied. Those of you who have no sin throw the first stone. One be one started leaving the scene. Jesus told the woman. Daughter, where are your accusers? No one wanted to throw stone at you? No, she said. Go and sin no more. She was forgiven by the compasionate heart of Jesus who love us so much. Proverbs 3. 11a My son do not despise the chastening of Yahweh. If an earthly father loves you will chasten you. So our heavenly Father will chasten us when we go stray and do not want to return. Bless us lord Jesus we pray in Your name. Amen

Praise the Lord. For the Lord is good.  Sing to His name for He is gracious.  Psalm 135.3   This should be our daily duty because of the mercies of the Lord we are not consumed.  Blessed be His holy name.  Proverbs 3. 35a   The wise will inherit glory.  Through the mercy of our God we will be more than conquerors through the blood of Jesus.

Sometimes I wonder why I have to walk in pain and sorrow realizing that our lives are very short in this earth and we are supposed to be happy and enjoying life. Then I realized what Jesus said. In this world you will have tribulation. But I will be with you always. Even to the end of the earth. This promise kept me going. Proverbs 3.13a Happy is the man who finds wisdom. Yes, ever since I have found God everything became clear to me. When I have wandered away, everythin else was dark and confusion really got over me. Why are we here on earth? What is the purpose of our existence? Where are we gone be right after we die? Jesus made clear to my mind. I have come to give you life and life everlasting. Yes Jesus, I want to be with You right after I die.

True humility is not thinking lowly of yourself but thinking acurately of yourself.  Proud of heart and high minded people are prone to have heart attack and feel resentful all the time because they think they are better than anyone else.  True humilty allow us to be like Jesus.  Humble to the end. Even to the cross.  Let us all follow His example.  To love God with our whole heart, mind, and soul and to love our neighbors with true humilty giving glory to God for the salvation of their souls.  Proverbs 3.3a  Do not let kindness and truth forsake you.  If you are kind go animals and human beings, God is pleased with you because you are following the command to be kind one towards another.

 My son, do not forget my law. Prov. 3,1a  NO, by Gods grace we will never ever forget Gods law.  It is a refreshing power that overwhelms each one of us when we enter into the presence of almighty God while reading His word.  Many have tried forgetting Gods word and have gone into deep depression and loss.  But Gods word will wake us up and give us hope for eternal life.

Others may abandon you, will forget you, never speak again and ignore you. But God will never ever do that.  You are His dear children and He loves you so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross to save your soul.  Never doubt that God will leave you hanging somewhere.  If you go through trials and tribulations it is that God is trying your faith if you really love HIm with all of your heart, mind and soul.   Happy is the man who finds wisdom.  Proverbs 3.13a  God is the only One who gives wisdom to those who ask.  He is the fountain of life and peace.  Come to Him and you will find rest down deep in your soul.

Sanctify me wholly, most wonderful Savior.  In Thee alone we trust and hope.  Great is your name over all the earth.

Be my sure salvation, body of the Lord Jesus.  Fill us with your love and mercy.  Wash me,. cleanse us, purify our hearts today as we read your word.  Proverbs 3.9a  Honor Yahweh with your substance. And with all the firstfruits of your increase.  With our whole hearts and soul will honor Your holy name.  Thank you Lord, for filling our church with newcomers.  They were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and many were delivered from all kinds of addictions and loneliness.  Thank you for Your holy presence in our lives.  We just love you and praise your holy name. The saints will arise and come out of their tombs. And Jesus will appear to many.  Mat. 27.52  His promises are true and He said.  I am coming soon.  And my reward is with me. To give to those who have serve me faithfully. This event is foreshadowing of the things to come in the future.  We are waiting with open arms to see our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ coming in the clouds. Proverbs 3.3a  Do not let kindness and truth forsake you.  Continue in the love of Jesus showing others kindness, mercy and compassion on lost lost souls.  Keep praying for them and never ever let truth forsake you.  Jesus is the truth and the life.
