Your request has been heard and your heart in it is understood. You quoted that a desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, and that is true. God gave us the capacity to hope and to long for good things, and there is a real sweetness when He allows those longings to come to pass. At the same time you are carrying a heavy burden about time and health, and you are asking God to provide financially so you can move and pursue what is on your heart.
Scripture gives helpful perspective on both health and prosperity. In one of his letters John wrote a warm personal greeting to his friend Gaius, expressing his wish that Gaius would be in good health and prosper in practical ways just as his soul was already prospering. That was a loving wish for a friend, not a blanket promise from God that every faithful person will be healthy and wealthy. There is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body, and attitudes and inner peace can affect us physically, and God does care about our bodies. Yet we cannot equate spirituality with physical health. Some of the most faithful followers of Jesus live with serious health problems, and that does not mean they lack faith or commitment. His ways are not our ways, and we cannot always understand why some lives are long and some are short, or why healing comes for one and not for another.
That is why it is wise to weigh every desire, even a sweet and natural one, in light of what has eternal value and what is only for this present time. Things that are only for this life can be desirable, but things that last for eternity carry far greater weight. A wise person will choose what honors God and nourishes the soul above what only satisfies for a moment. The greatest prosperity is the prosperity of the soul, which is to walk in truth and to know that your sins are forgiven. God has made one provision for sin, His Son Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for us. When we put our trust in Jesus, God counts His righteousness to us, not because we are perfect but because we have believed.
For your financial need and your hope to move overseas, bring it honestly to the Lord and ask for His wisdom as well as His provision. God sees your needs and He invites you to put Him first, to seek His will and His kingdom before your own plans, and to trust Him to provide what is best according to His perfect knowledge. Pray not only for open doors for money and for a move, but for clear guidance about whether those goals are the best way to use the time and strength He has given you, and for contentment and joy wherever He places you.
We pray now for you, that God would strengthen your soul as you walk in truth and trust in Jesus, that He would give you peace about the future and wisdom for each decision, that He would care for your body according to His mercy, and that He would provide for your needs as He sees fit and make your path clear. May He give you grace to desire most what pleases Him, and to find sweetness not only when a desire is fulfilled, but in knowing you are loved and held by Him each day.
