We join you together before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking Him with you for His covering and pleading His precious blood over you, your children and your home. We stand with you for divine protection as night falls and we agree that the Lord Himself is your refuge.

We are moved by your urgent cry for your family and we bring every part of this request before the Father. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. We pray that His angels indeed stand guard around your yard and surroundings, every door, every window, every room and every corner of your home tonight, and that He will be faithful to guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We lift up your older daughter as she travels to and from her work event this evening. We ask the Lord to keep her safe on the road, to grant her strength and energy, and to give her favor where she goes. We pray for a hedge of protection around her and for a peaceful, restful and relaxed night for your whole household. For your son, we ask the Lord to bless his activities and meals with peace and joy and satisfaction, to calm his thoughts and emotions, and to fill his heart with the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, which will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray for your younger daughter as well, for healing and protection over her body and mind, for favor in her health, school and career, for uplifting godly friendships and in the Lord's perfect timing a godly spouse, and for comfort in the hurt she feels as she sees her older sister changing.

We also hear your deep anguish over your older daughter and this young man and his family, and we must lovingly speak truth over what you have shared. You have rightly discerned that this living arrangement outside of marriage is not of God. Scripture is clear that marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral Hebrews 13:4, and to flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Living together as if married when not married is fornication, and it brings bondage, exhaustion, confusion and division rather than the blessing God intends for marriage between a man and a woman for life. It is not right for your daughter to treat a boyfriend as if he were her husband, to obey him as a husband, or to allow him and his mother to dictate conditions for her time with her own family or to fund his spending habits. This is control and manipulation, not love. Love does not seek to isolate or brainwash or create conditions for family fellowship. Do not be deceived, evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33, and we are warned not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Courtship should be with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, not a toxic bondage that steals self-worth and purpose.

So we rebuke together every spirit of fear, manipulation, confusion, frustration, regression, division, isolation, chaos, control and rebellion that has tried to attack you and your family, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We command every unclean and deceitful influence to flee in the name of Jesus Christ and we declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We pray that the Lord will frustrate every plot and scheme meant to cause division and isolation, that He will break every ungodly soul tie between your daughter and this young man, and that He will open her eyes to truth and deliver her from this deceptive and destructive influence. We ask Him to remove the stubborn ungodly hold this young man has on her, to give her a holy discontent with this living arrangement, and to grant her courage and wisdom to walk away and return to safety, to home and to righteousness, restoring her self-worth and her gratitude for the family God has blessed her with.

We pray for your son with deep compassion, asking the Lord to calm his heart, to heal him and to grant him the mind of Christ, that he may be gentle and gracious and use functional language to express his feelings, wants and needs. We ask God to take away past trauma memories and to quiet frustration, screaming, jumping and vocal stimming, and to let him rest free from torment or fear under the shadow of His wings. If it is His will, we ask for healing from autism, PTSD and anxiety, and for freedom from every spiritual attack that tries to disturb his peace.

We pray for you as a mother who has wept and cried out, and we thank God that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart Psalm 34:18. We ask Him to fill you with wisdom, grace, strength and courage to navigate this season, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We join you in declaring restoration over your family, that the Lord would bless you with a peaceful and joyful year filled with love, unity and laughter, that no negative influence or outside pressure would cause division, and that your family bond would be restored stronger than ever, rooted in His love and grace. We pray He would bless your finances so you can help others, and that this year would be one of overflowing blessings, breakthroughs, favors and unexpected miracles.

Father, we thank You for Your covering, Your mercy and Your power. We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother, her older daughter, her younger daughter and her son, over their home and every journey they take. Let Your light shine in every dark place and drive out every trace of darkness. Let tonight be peaceful, our rest deep, and our hearts guarded in Your presence. We ask You to gently lead this young man back to his own family alone, to convict him and his mother of their controlling ways, and to set this precious daughter free to pursue holiness and in Your time a godly marriage that honors You. We trust You completely to intervene, to restore broken relationships in a trusting and godly manner, and to keep all that we have committed to You until that day. In the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, we pray. Amen.

We have been reading your prayer and we hear how much you are carrying. Your love for each of your children comes through so clearly, and so does the weariness of watching your older daughter pulled in a direction that has brought exhaustion and distance to your whole family. It makes sense you are asking for protection and peace tonight, especially as she travels.

We are holding you and your children before the Lord with you. One thing that has helped other parents walking a similar painful road is remembering that love and limits can go together. A boundary is simply like a property line. It clarifies what is yours to steward, your home, your time, your resources, and how you will engage, without trying to control another adult's choices. It can protect peace in your home while keeping the door open for relationship.

A steady next step many find helpful is to decide calmly ahead of time what you will and will not do around the conditions and financial pressures you described, and to keep communication with your older daughter brief, kind and consistent even when you disagree. Staying connected to a trusted pastor or counselor for your own support can also give you wisdom and strength for the weeks ahead. For your son, continuing with his regular care providers alongside prayer is a good way to support his peace and growth.

Jesus, we bring this family to You tonight. Cover their home and each child with Your protection and rest. Give this mom wisdom, courage and deep peace, guard her older daughter on the road and in every decision, and draw her toward what is good and life giving. Calm her son and let him know safety under Your care, and keep her younger daughter healthy, encouraged and at peace. Restore what has been strained in Your time and way. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you before the throne of grace tonight with gratitude and urgency, pleading the precious blood of Jesus Christ alone for mercy and protection.

We ask the Lord to cover your home, your hearts and your minds, to set His guard around every door and window and room, and to keep your older daughter safe as she travels to and from her work event this evening. We pray He will grant her safety, strength and favor, and that He will give to you all a peaceful and restful night under the shadow of His wings. We ask Him also to bless your son and your younger daughter, to calm all fear and confusion, to give peace that surpasses all understanding, and to keep them in His loving presence through the night.

In this season of heavy affliction we remember that troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and even the sharpest smart is made profitable for our good. He chastens sorely, but He does not give us over unto death, and after affliction His people are sure to sing, My soul does magnify the Lord.

We rejoice that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Scripture declares, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. This is not a deliverance we can work in ourselves by a hasty word or by human wisdom. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance from sin is worth nothing. We must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone, for He alone can break chains and bring the soul up from the pit.

For your older daughter we pray with this confidence. We do not ask God to bless a living arrangement outside of marriage, for marriage is ordained by God as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and living together and sharing what belongs within marriage outside of that covenant is not good for her soul and cannot give her the peace she seeks. We pray instead that the Lord will open her eyes to truth, break every ungodly tie that binds her, and deliver her from every deceptive and destructive influence. We ask Him to frustrate every plot and scheme that would cause division and isolation between her and her family, to remove the stubborn hold that keeps her in bondage, and to restore to her wisdom, self worth and a longing for home, peace and righteousness. We pray she will be given courage to walk away from what is not marriage and is bringing exhaustion and chaos, and to return to safety and faith. We ask the Lord to guard her from feeling obligated, worthless or trapped, and in His perfect time to provide a godly spouse according to His holy design, if it be His will for her.

For your son we pray that the Lord will calm his thoughts and emotions and his heart, quiet fear and frustration, and grant him a godly calm and grace to use functional language to express his feelings, wants and needs. We ask for comfort in place of torment, for joy in place of confusion, and for the mind of Christ to be formed in him day by day, that he may rest free from fear. For your younger daughter we pray for healing and strength in body and mind, for protection over her health, school and future, for uplifting godly friendships, and in the Lord's perfect timing a godly marriage rooted in Christ. We pray the Lord will comfort her heart where she has been hurt by the changes she sees in her sister, and give her deep confidence in His love.

We pray for you, that the Lord will fill you with wisdom, grace, strength and courage to navigate this season, to speak truth in love, and to keep your home filled with His glory and peace. We ask Him to restore your family bond stronger than before, rooted in His love and grace, to let no weapon formed against you prosper, and to let His light shine in every dark place, driving out spiritual darkness.

Our hope rests not in our own power but in this argument of love: Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom in the blood of His Son. That ransom is sufficient to save from sin, from the devil, and from evil company. He keeps back the soul from the pit, and His life from perishing. To the God of Israel who delivers, we consecrate you and your children anew, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and that He will restore the joy of His salvation.

May the Lord keep you tonight, cause you to live and to declare the works of the Lord, and bring your family into overflowing peace, unity and joy in Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and ransom, we pray. Amen.
