Warm affections alone do not save, so examine whether your heart truly follows Christ without turning back.
Living Temples for the Living God
God dwells in hearts that are humble, broken, and reverent toward His Word.

True happiness comes from rejecting ungodly advice and seeking wisdom from those who follow God’s ways.
We join with you in this request for God's protection and for your desire to be a blessing to others in His house, and we count it a joy to lift you up together before the Father in Jesus' name.

We thank God for your heart to gather with His people. It is good and right to seek His covering as you go to church and to ask that He would use you there for His glory. Scripture assures us that He is our refuge and keeper. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We are also reminded that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also rejoice that you want to be a blessing to others there. That is the heart God desires for each of us in the body of Christ. Even so let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven Matthew 5:16. As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms 1 Peter 4:10. We encourage you to continue to not forsake the assembling of yourselves together Hebrews 10:25, to serve with humility, to pray, to encourage, and to look for ways to build up your brothers and sisters in love.

We noticed your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that our prayers are heard and our lives are made new.

So we pray together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your hand of protection over our dear fellow believer as they go to and from church and while they are gathered with Your people. Cover them with Your presence, keep them from all evil and harm, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill that church with Your peace and let Your Holy Spirit reign there. Lord, make this one a vessel of Your love and grace, that they may be an encouragement and a blessing to others, speaking words of life, serving with joy, and reflecting Christ in all they do. Draw them ever closer to Jesus and deepen their faith as they fellowship with Your people. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We're thankful you asked us to pray with you about feeling protected at church and wanting to be a blessing to others there. Both matter deeply, and we hear your heart to worship in peace and to give to the people around you.

Wanting to be safe in your church family makes sense. If there is anything specific that makes you feel uneasy, it can be steadying to quietly share that with a pastor or trusted leader so you are not carrying it alone and they can look out for you. Sometimes just knowing one or two people are aware helps you settle in more fully.

And your desire to bless others is already a gift. Blessing in its simplest form is adding value to someone else, a sincere word of encouragement, a warm welcome, remembering a name, or offering help in a small practical way. Those consistent, genuine acts often mean more than we realize and help build the kind of community where everyone feels more secure.

We are holding you and your church in prayer.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask You to watch over our friend when they gather with Your people, to give them peace and a sense of safety, and to open simple ways for them to encourage and strengthen others there. Lead them and let Your care be evident to them. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It is a right and precious thing to desire the protection of the Lord in His own house and to long to be made a blessing to others there. Such a prayer is according to the mind of God.

Our first occupation should be that of blessing God, for He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. No spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance, it comes through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom we are accepted in the Beloved. When you gather with the saints, remember that all blessing is in Christ, and because He is accepted, those who are in Him are accepted also. There you have covenant safety, for He will always be mindful of His covenant and will not suffer one single promise of it to be unfulfilled.

You ask for protection at church. The Lord who has given you fellowship with Himself will keep you there. He has made the Church to be His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all, and He is Head over all things for its good. Ask Him to keep you walking in holiness and in sweet fellowship with Christ and with His people, for that is true safety. He can keep you firm in every temptation and cause you to walk in His ways not as a slave sweating in bondage, but as a child serving with delight, with His Spirit within you.

And you ask to be a blessing to others. Hear the order of grace, I will bless you, and you shall be a blessing. You cannot be a blessing to others unless God has first blessed you. But when He has blessed you, saved you, and put His Spirit within you, then the capacity to be a blessing is given to you at your conversion. So will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Seek then to maintain a holiness of walk with God, and bring the Lord Jesus Christ to those whom you meet from day to day, for that is how we are made a blessing.

Let us pray together. O Father, we bless Your holy name for Your great goodness in Christ Jesus. We ask You to set Your hand of protection upon this dear soul as they gather with Your people. Keep them from evil, keep them in fellowship with Yourself, and let no harm turn them aside from Your ways. Fill them with Your Spirit, make Your word sweet to them, and let them know the blessing of being accepted in the Beloved. And Lord, make them a blessing in that place. Let their example, their prayer, their word and their service spread a balmy influence around, that others may see Christ in them and be drawn to Him. May all blessing come from You alone, and may You have all the praise. In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior we ask it, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for protection and to be a blessing in your church is heard with joy, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that God, who is the cause and keeper of all good things, will guard you in His care as you gather with His people. Scripture reminds us that in this world we have tribulation, but our true blessings in Christ are spiritual blessings, to be made His children, forgiven, and kept in His grace. May He cover you with His peace, keep you from evil and fear, and make His presence your refuge whenever you come together to worship.

We also thank God for your desire not only to be protected but to be a help to others. That is the heart He loves, to bear fruit that is fitting for those who tend His field and to receive blessing from Him. We pray He will make you a source of encouragement, kindness, and good deeds among your church family, that through simple acts of love, prayer, and service you would build up others and point them to Christ. As you look to those who faithfully walk with the Lord, may you be strengthened to walk in humility and diligence yourself.

May the Lord bless your going out and your coming in, keep you in safety, and use you for His glory in the body of Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who freely gives us all things. Amen.
