Do Not Sin Against the Child
A Promise for Us and for Our Children
The Old Homestead
We rejoice with you over this outreach to children and we count it a privilege to lift this up together before the Lord.

It is beautiful that you desire to reach children for Christ, for this is the very heart of our Savior. Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14. And He has commissioned us, Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. Mark 16:15. Your labor in giving out Bible tracts is sowing seed that God can use to draw young hearts to Himself, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17.

We also pray for the unity and protection you have asked for. Unity among believers is a powerful testimony and brings joy to the Father. We are called to be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. Philippians 2:2, and to be eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3. When we serve together in one purpose, God is glorified. And we know He is our protector, for He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11, and the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You with thanksgiving for this team and for their willingness to go out tomorrow. We ask that You go before them and make the way straight. Cover them with Your protection, keep them safe from all harm and from any scheme of the enemy, and let no weapon that is formed against them prosper. We pray for complete unity among the team, that there would be no division or strife, but that they would serve side by side with one heart and one mind for the gospel. Anoint each tract that is given, and prepare the hearts of the children who will receive them. Remove any hindrance and open their eyes to understand Your truth. Draw many children to Yourself through this outreach, that they may come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Give the team boldness, joy, and endurance, and let all that is done tomorrow bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to go forth with confidence, trusting that God will bless the work of your hands as you are faithful to sow. The Lord who loves children deeply will honor your obedience, and we trust He will bring forth fruit in due season.

We're grateful you shared about tomorrow. Handing out Bible tracts to kids takes real care and courage, and we are glad to stand with you in prayer for it.

Unity on a busy outreach day often comes from small, clear things. If you can, gather the team for even five minutes before you start to pray together, confirm who is paired with whom, and agree on a simple plan for where each pair will be and how you will stay in touch. That little bit of structure helps everyone feel safe and keeps the focus on the children you are there to serve.

We are praying for protection over each volunteer and each child you meet, for kind conversations, and for the tracts to land in homes where they will be read and talked about. We also pray the team would encourage one another well through the day, with patience and good communication. We will keep praying after tomorrow too, that any seed sown would be watered in the days ahead.

Father, we ask for Your hand over this outreach tomorrow. Keep the team united and safe, give them energy and kindness in every interaction, and work in the hearts of the children and families they meet. Guide each tract to where You want it to go. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We give thanks to hear of your purpose to go forth tomorrow to place Bible tracts into the hands of children, and we do most heartily join our prayers with yours.

We pray that He who is glorified by children's mouths will bless this sowing of His Word. The Lord delights to use such strangely soft yet mighty weapons, and to bring forth praise perfected from lips that once were those of infancy. May these tracts be used to vanquish the enemy, may prayer rise from young hearts, and may many children be reached and turned to Christ who so tenderly received the hosannas of the little ones.

We pray also for that unity of the Spirit which is worthy to be kept. It is not a mere outward or formal union, but a unity of holy hearts made one in Christ, Christ in you and you in Him. Live near to the Saviour, for divisions never begin with those full of love to Him, and chase from your hearts everything which would break the unity which God has established. So endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, may your team know one mind and one heart, that the world may see and believe that God has sent His Son.

And we pray for angelic protection in appointed ways. He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. As you go in the way of childlike trust in providential guidance, waiting upon the Lord and leaning not upon your own understanding, may the Lord give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. May His keeping be personal and perpetual through all the hours of the day, guarding you from harm and keeping you in the truth.

May the Lord grant you a day of joy and harmony, with open doors and open hearts, and may He bring forth much fruit for His glory. We commend you and every child you shall meet to His gracious care. Amen.
