Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
We pray to Christ who is the Lord strong and mighty in battle, who went up on high and led captivity captive, that He would be your defense and your deliverance. In Him we have both deliverance from evil and supply of good, for He has redeemed us from the curse and has brought us into sonship, so that we can now come to the Father and receive His care as His own children.
We ask God to set His protection around you, to guard your body and soul, your home and all your ways, and to grant a breakthrough where there has been pressing need or long struggle. We pray not only for escape from hardship, but for strength to stand above fear, remembering that He teaches us to trust in the immortality of the soul and the hope of a better resurrection, so that even in trial we may have courage and peace.
We also lift up all who are in need as you have asked, that the Lord would meet each one according to His wisdom and mercy, providing what is needed, opening doors that no one can shut, and making His power known in their lives.
May you continue to look to Christ daily, to walk in faith and obedience, and to use whatever ability God has given you, whether in protection, in help, or in kindness, for the good of your neighbor, for nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common good.
We commit you and all those in need into the hands of our faithful God, asking that His will be done and that you would know His presence, His guarding, and His provision in the days ahead. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
