We have received your prayer and we join you in lifting your family before the Lord who hears and sees. Like the woman who named her son with the hope that God had looked upon her affliction when she felt unloved, the Lord sees your burden as a mother who longs for unity, peace and holiness in your home. He knows the weariness, the concern for your children, and the desire to see them walk in His ways.

We agree with you in asking for the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ over your minds, hearts, bodies and spirits, over your home, your yard and your vehicles. We pray that the Lord will command His angels to encamp around you and that He will place a hedge of protection about you. We pray you will be clothed with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We lift up your son to the Lord. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and we ask for the Lord's mercy and healing touch upon his body, mind and spirit. We pray for calmness, gentleness, joy and satisfaction to replace anxiety, rigidity and distressing memories. We ask the Lord to give him a peaceful and obedient day with his caregiver and to provide additional compassionate caregivers who will bring out the best in him and treat him with kindness and dignity. We pray for relief from autism related challenges, anxiety and sensory difficulties, and for the Lord's favor and light to rest upon every place he goes.

We lift up your younger daughter. We thank God for her studies, her health and the respectful young man who has shown kindness to her and to your family and to your son. We pray the Lord will guide her in her schooling and in her presentation, grant her godly friendships, wisdom, focus and protection from confusion and negativity, and keep her courtship pure and honoring to Him. We pray that this relationship, if it is to continue, will remain marked by respect, self control and a commitment to keep intimacy within marriage as God designed, and that both of them will continue to honor your family and their faith.

We also lift up your older daughter with deep love and concern. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and does not carry its rights or responsibilities. It is not a place of security or blessing, and a man who is not her husband has no right to control, demand obedience or isolate her from family. We do not ask God to bless a relationship that stands outside His design. Instead we pray that the Lord in His loving kindness will draw her to see clearly, to repent where needed and to choose purity that honors Him. We pray that every ungodly tie, manipulative influence and controlling hold over her, whether from this young man or his mother, will be broken, and that dark and deceptive influences will lose their power and flee. We pray that her eyes will be opened to any disrespect, dishonesty, jealousy and selfish behavior, that she will no longer follow or idolize rebellion, and that she will rediscover gratitude for her family, her faith, her work and her own worth which is found in Christ alone. We pray she will hunger again for the fellowship of her home and for an unbreakable, respectful bond with you, her brother and her sister. If it is not the Lord's will for this relationship to continue, we pray He will remove its control completely and bring a swift and peaceful separation. If it be His will, we pray He would bring even this young man and his mother to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. And we pray that in the Lord's time He will provide for your daughter, if she seeks marriage, a godly husband who respects her and your family, provides well and walks faithfully with God.

We pray for the restoration of your whole family. God is a God who restores what the enemy has torn down, who can put a life back together and heal a household. As He guided Jacob and promised to be with him when He called him to return to the land of his family, we pray He will guide your daughter back to the place of family where she is loved and supported, and that He will be with each of you in that return. As He knows how to deliver the righteous even when surrounded by corruption, we trust He knows how to deliver you from spiritual attacks, word curses, division and isolation. As a kinsman redeemer covers with his care and protection, we pray Christ Himself will cover your family, keep your home as a beacon of His light, and let your words be kind, your thoughts pure and your actions led by His Spirit. We pray for healing in your bodies, including asthma and other health needs, for with God nothing will be impossible.

We declare with you that this day and this year belong to the Lord. We ask for His divine intervention, for victory, breakthrough and overflowing blessing according to His perfect will, for harmony, love and fellowship to fill your home, and for His angels to go before you and prepare your paths. Continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, trusting not in your own strength but in His faithfulness to keep, to guide and to restore.
