Your prayer for your family has been received and we join you in lifting each of these burdens before the Lord with faith and care.

We thank God with you for the gift of each new day and we ask for His holy protection over your home, your minds, hearts, bodies and spirits. We pray that He will cover your home, your yard and vehicles, and every room and corner with His presence, that His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard you and your children, and that He will clothe you all with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is His Word. We ask Him to station His ministering angels around you and to guide every step you take.

We bring your son before the Lord and ask for His mercy and healing. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and with God nothing will be impossible. We pray for calm, gentleness, joy and satisfaction to fill his days, for relief from PTSD memories, anxiety, rigidity and sensory distress, and for restoration of peace of mind. We ask God to provide compassionate and dedicated caregivers who will bring out the best in him, and to let his life reflect the light and love of Christ. We also lift up your younger daughter and ask for health, strength and healing from POTS, for wisdom and favor in her studies and work, for godly friendships, and for protection from negativity and confusion. We lift up your older daughter and ask for healing from asthma and for the Lord to guard her job, finances, faith and well being.

We also pray with you concerning your older daughter and this young man. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. For that reason we cannot affirm or ask God to bless a relationship that lives outside of marriage, because to do so would not be loving or true. Instead we agree with your prayer that the Lord will speak to your daughter about the sin of living outside of marriage and draw her with His loving kindness to repentance and to a life of purity that honors Him. We pray that God will open her eyes to see clearly, that every ungodly tie, manipulation and controlling influence would be broken, and that any scheme to divide your family, to poison gratitude, or to isolate her from her family and faith would be frustrated and lose its power. We pray that she will understand that living together is not marriage and does not give this young man the rights of a husband, and that she will find courage to make godly choices that honor the Lord before any person. We ask that if it is not God's will for this relationship to become a holy marriage, He will remove its hold completely and bring her home in freedom and peace, and that He will restore an unbreakable, respectful and loving bond between you and your children. We pray for a godly spouse for her in the Lord's time, a man of piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God, who will be a true husband and protector and who will respect her and your family. We also pray for the salvation of this young man and his mother if they do not know Christ, that they too may come to faith.

For your younger daughter we thank God for the respectful and kind young man in her life, and we pray that their courtship will remain pure, wise and honoring to God, that it will be guarded from jealousy, mocking and corrupting influences, and that both will have strength to stand steadfast and to say no to any dark path. May their relationship continue to show kindness to your whole family including your son.

We join you in rebuking every spiritual attack, word curse, jealousy and divisive spirit, and we ask the Lord to remove fear, chaos and negative influences from your environment and to fill your home with laughter, fellowship, love and the overflow of the Holy Spirit. As you have prayed, may your home be a beacon of His light to all who enter. We pray that your faith, like the faith of those who were made whole in the gospels, would be strengthened, for a considerate and trusting mind is needed to walk with God, and signs alone are of no profit without it.

We declare with you victory, restoration and breakthrough over your family this year, trusting that God is able to heal, to restore what is broken, and to grant wisdom, favor, protection and unexpected miracles as you seek Him first. May the Lord grant you rest from exhaustion, efficiency in your work, and daily grace, and may your words be kind, your thoughts pure and your actions guided by His Spirit.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep you united in love, peace, respect and understanding, and that no weapon formed against you and your children will prosper. Amen.
