Protection

We join with you in asking for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need, and we seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

We are reminded of how faithful God is to keep His people. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. We take comfort also that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. For breakthrough, we remember that God is the God of breakthrough, as it is written, God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters, 1 Chronicles 14:11, and that He is the one who goes before us and breaks through every barrier when we walk in His will.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive protection and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. To receive His protection and breakthrough in its fullness, we must come to God through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Him today.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for extra strong protection and breakthrough. We ask that You cover us and all in need with Your hand, that You encamp Your angels around those who fear You and deliver them, and that You be our refuge and fortress in every trial. We rebuke every scheme of the evil one and every attack formed against Your people, and we ask that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Guard our hearts, our minds, our bodies, and our homes, and keep us from the evil one. We also ask for breakthrough, Lord, that You would open doors that no man can shut, make a way where there seems to be no way, break chains of oppression, fear, and need, and lead us into the freedom and victory that is found in Christ. For all who are in need and crying out for help, we ask that You meet them according to Your mercy and perfect will, that they would know Your presence, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and Your power to deliver. Draw each one closer to Jesus, that they would abide in the secret place of the Most High and rest in Your shadow. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are grateful you reached out to ask for extra strong protection and breakthrough, not only for yourselves but for all in need. That kind of caring for others while you are also wanting to be covered yourself matters to God and it matters to us.

It is understandable to want that extra strength of protection when life feels exposed or uncertain. We believe God is both near with us in what we face and able to act beyond what we can see, and prayer is one simple way we stay anchored to Him day by day. It does not have to be elaborate to be real.

One thing that often helps when the need feels large and ongoing is to keep it shared and steady. If you have one or two trusted people in your life or church who can know these requests by name and pray alongside you regularly, that shared presence can be strengthening. And if it helps, setting aside a brief, consistent time each day to bring these same needs before the Lord can keep the burden from feeling like it rests only on you in a single moment.

Father, we bring this person and all those they carry on their heart to You. Cover them with Your care, guard their steps and their homes, and bring the breakthrough only You can bring in Your way and time. Give them peace as they wait and confidence that You hear them. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your cry for extra strong protection and breakthrough, for yourself and for all who are in need, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked for what every tried believer needs, a divine buckler and a divine deliverance. The Word tells us that knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we are able to ward off all the blows of the enemy, and that God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and never will do so. When Israel was led out of the Egypt of sorrow, it was Jehovah who brought forth His people. Our deliverance is by divine power alone. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and that same hand which wrought salvation is still mighty to keep and to break through for His own.

Therefore we pray for you. May the Lord be your refuge and your buckler in every place of danger, seen and unseen. May He guard your going out and your coming in, your body and your soul, your household and all that concerns you. Where the enemy would press hard, may the Lord lift up a standard against him. Where the way seems shut up, may the Lord Himself make a way, for with Him nothing is impossible. We ask that He would grant you not only protection from evil, but breakthrough out of it, a full deliverance by His own strong arm, that you may live and declare the works of the Lord.

If the answer tarries, take heart. His grace shall to the end stronger and brighter shine, and neither present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine within the heart that trusts in Christ. The Lord keeps faith alive, and then whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages, above the waves, and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer. Cast your care upon Him who has found a ransom in the blood of Jesus, for to be covered by that blood is to be safe indeed.

We commend you and all in need to Him who is able to keep you from falling, praying that you may know His peace within your borders and His power in your breakthrough, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation.
