Protection

Disciple of Prayer
Pray God protects me on Saturday against fear or accusations of the enemy, from a person in my group that she will be kind and gracious to me. And won’t accuse me.

We are standing with you in prayer for this Saturday and we hear your heart for protection from fear and from any accusation of the enemy, including through this person in your group.

We know that fear does not come from God and that the enemy is the accuser of our brothers. We rebuke that spirit of fear and accusation over you, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We are reminded that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn Isaiah 54:17. When we abide in the Lord, we can rest in His protection, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1, and we can say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust Psalm 91:2. We also take comfort that if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31.

We also want to lovingly point out that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to ensure you know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and to His protection. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God's throne Romans 10:9. We pray you are trusting in Him alone for your covering and peace.

We join together and pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one to You for this Saturday. We ask for Your hedge of protection around them, that Your angels would encamp around them Psalm 34:7. We rebuke every scheme and accusation of the enemy and we ask that no word spoken against them would take root. Lord, we ask You to guard their heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, and to remove all fear and anxiety. We pray for the woman in this group, that You would soften her heart and fill her with kindness and graciousness toward our friend. Where there has been tension, bring Your peace, and where there is opportunity for accusation, bring grace. Let Your love be evident in that interaction and let even enemies be at peace when our ways please You Proverbs 16:7. We put on the full armor of God for our friend today Ephesians 6:11, especially the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart. Let Saturday be a day marked by Your presence, Your calm, and Your favor. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and defender, amen.

We encourage you as you prepare for Saturday to spend time in prayer and in the Word, casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Remember that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces Ephesians 6:12, so pray for this person with love and bless those who may come against you. Walk in gentleness and humility, and trust that the Lord will be your advocate and will speak for you. He sees you, He is with you, and He will keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him.

We hear the weight you are feeling about Saturday and the worry about being accused or treated unkindly in your group. It makes sense that fear would rise when you are anticipating how one person might act toward you.

We are praying with you for protection and for peace that steadies you even while you wait. We also pray that your group time would be marked by kindness and fairness toward you.

One small thing that sometimes helps when dread builds before a specific day is to make a simple plan for that day. You might decide ahead of time to spend a few quiet minutes in prayer before you go, to sit near someone you trust in the group, and to have a calm, brief response ready if an accusation does come, such as "I would like to talk about that privately and calmly." Having a plan does not control what another person does, but it can help you feel less caught off guard and more grounded.

You are not alone in this and God sees both your concern and your desire to handle this graciously.

Father, we bring our friend to You as Saturday approaches. Quiet fear and guard their heart and mind in Christ. Protect them from false accusation and give them wisdom for each moment. Let kindness prevail in that group and lead them through the day with Your presence close. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders Prov 21:1, 🐑 Pastors, 🌾 Evangelists, ⛪️ Churches, Ministry Partners 🙏 All Christianity (Every Believer in Christ); 🏛️Government, 1 Tim 2:1-4, EVEN "ENEMIES," Mt 5:44-45, Lk 6:27-29, Rom 12:14, 1 Peter 3:9...

🙏 We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33, we pray Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺
