Beloved of All
We thank God with you for waking you and your children to a new day, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your minds, hearts, bodies and spirits. The Lord is our protection and our peace, and we ask Him to cover your home, your hearts, your yard and your vehicles, to let His peace which surpasses all understanding guard you, and to clothe you with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is His Word. We ask Him to command His angels to encamp around you and to keep every weapon formed against you from prospering.
We lift up your son to the Lord who loves him dearly. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and we know that great is the power of faith when it trusts in Christ alone. As you have prayed for his healing and restoration from autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, we pray with you that God would remove what troubles him, erase the hold of past trauma, calm his mind, and restore gentleness, peace and joy. We pray that He would grant him a calm and obedient day with his caregiver, and that He would provide an additional caregiver who is dedicated and patient to bring out the best in him. We pray that your son would know he is a beloved child of God, for through Christ we have deliverance from evil and the gift of sonship, and we have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry out to the Father. May the Lord bless his surroundings with divine protection and let his life reflect the light of Christ wherever he goes.
We lift up your younger daughter as well. We pray for her health as she lives with POTS, for relief from physical distress and pain, for strength in her studies and for her future career. We pray that God would surround her with godly friendships that encourage her faith and keep her from confusion and negativity. We thank God with you for the respectful, kind and gentle young man who is courting her and who shows kindness to your family and to your son. We pray that the Lord would keep a special anointing upon their courtship, that it would remain pure and honorable, that it would keep all disrespect, mocking, jealousy and corruption far away, and that it would be guided toward the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman if it is His will. We pray that she would continue to stand steadfast, to say no to any dark path, and to be grateful for the family God has given her. May she grow in wisdom, courage, focus and satisfaction as she walks with the Lord.
We also lift up your older daughter with love and truth. We hear your burden for her and we agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and does not give a boyfriend the rights of a husband. Sex and living together belong within marriage alone, and God calls His children to purity because hearing and keeping His commandments is the sure proof of love for Him. We do not ask God to bless a relationship that dishonors Him, but we pray that He would draw her with loving kindness to repentance, that He would break every ungodly tie, restore her spiritual clarity, independence and faith, and grant her wisdom to not follow, idolize or obey this young man as if she were bound to him. We pray that she would see that her worth is found in Christ alone, not in the approval of this young man or his family, and that she would hunger again for fellowship with you, her brother and her sister. We pray that the Lord would frustrate every plan, plot and scheme that seeks to bring division, isolation and chaos into your family, that He would remove manipulative, spiteful and controlling influences, including the overreach of this young man's mother, and expose what is rooted in pride and the flesh. If this young man and his mother do not yet know Christ, we pray that God would bring even them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and that apart from that, their ungodly influence and control over your daughters would be completely removed. We pray for protection over your daughter's job, finances, friendships and self esteem, and that she would be restored to gratitude, joy and respect within your family.
We pray for you as a mother, that God would fill you with His peace, joy and grace, that He would remove fear, chaos and every negative influence from your environment, and that He would let His anointing guide every step you take. We pray for the supernatural, unbreakable, loving and respectful bond you desire with your children, that broken relationships would be mended in a godly, peaceful and respectful manner, and that your home would be a beacon of His light to all who enter. This requires not only deliverance from what harms us but the cultivation of virtue, a careful hearing of the Word and continual remembrance of it, with fortitude and a heart set on eternal things.
We declare with you that with God nothing will be impossible. He who died for us while we were still sinners and ungodly, who reconciled and justified us, will surely keep those who are now His friends and children. He has delivered us from the curse and has made us heirs. May He heal your family from every curse and work of darkness, rebuke every spiritual attack, jealousy and deceptive force, and cause it to flee and never return. May He restore fully the peace, love, patience, respect and happiness within your family and fill you all with an overflow of the Holy Spirit. May your words be kind, your thoughts pure and your actions guided by His Spirit, and may this year be marked by His protection, restoration and breakthrough as you trust in Jesus alone. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
