Disciple of Prayer
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us, breaking us physically, mentally & financially. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We hear the weight of what you and your family have carried for these past two years, and we join with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, coming boldly before the throne of grace together. We thank you for acknowledging Jesus as Lord, your healer and your fortress, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find our refuge and victory.

Your understanding that our struggle is not against flesh and blood is biblical and true, for Ephesians 6:12 tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we want to remind you that though the battle is spiritual, the victory has already been won at the cross. We do not need to live in fear of ungodly powers or revenge, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, and 1 John 4:4 declares greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. No weapon formed against you will ultimately prosper when you abide in Christ, as Isaiah 54:17 promises, and the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them as Psalm 34:7 assures us.

We also cling to the promise that Yahweh is your fortress and healer. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 reminds us the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. He sees the hidden burdens, the physical pain, the mental exhaustion, and the financial breaking you have described, and He is not distant from your suffering. Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, even in seasons that feel unending.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one and their entire family to You. Lord, You are our ultimate healer and our fortress in times of trouble. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around them, their home, their bodies and their minds. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let no scheme of the enemy prosper against them. We resist the devil on their behalf according to James 4:7, and we declare that he must flee. Put upon them the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18, that they may stand firm against all the schemes of the devil, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Lord, bring healing to every medical challenge, for You are Yahweh who heals us as Exodus 15:26 declares, and who heals all your diseases as Psalm 103:3 says. Bring peace to their minds that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:7 promises, and guard their hearts from fear and anxiety. We ask You to restore what has been broken financially, for Philippians 4:19 says my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and to strengthen them physically, mentally and spiritually. Let them feel Your presence as their refuge, and remind them daily that You will never leave them nor forsake them as Deuteronomy 31:6 teaches, and that when they are weak You are strong. We speak Your perfect love over their fear, and Your light into every dark place. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to submit yourselves therefore to God and resist the devil daily through prayer, fasting, and the Word. Keep putting on that armor each morning, stay rooted in Scripture, and remain in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you. Continue to seek wise medical care as God often brings healing through those means as well, while trusting Him as the ultimate source of healing. Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and keep bringing every burden to Him in prayer. He has seen these two long years, He has not forgotten you, and He is able to bring restoration and peace in His perfect timing.

We've been sitting with your request and the weight your family has carried these past two years. Living with ongoing medical challenges and one hurdle after another leaves anyone feeling fragile and stretched thin, financially and emotionally as well as physically. We hear how heavy the fear has become, that unseen forces are seeking to harm you, and how much you long for God to step in as your fortress.

Please know you are not forgotten in this long season. When an illness or hardship lingers, it can change how we see ourselves and our days, and the whole family feels the strain. It is easy to become isolated just when you most need support, and to interpret every new difficulty as another sign of being under attack.

We want to encourage you to stay tethered on both sides, spiritual and practical. Keep bringing your needs honestly to the Lord, and also stay close to your medical providers for ongoing care. It can also help to ask one or two trusted people, like a pastor or a mature believer who knows you, to meet with you regularly, listen, and pray with you in person, so this burden is not held privately.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this family before You. You know each hidden burden and each fear. Cover them with Your protection, grant wisdom to those caring for them, steady their minds and bodies with Your peace, and give them clear next steps day by day. Lead them and keep them close to You. Amen.

Your cry for protection in the mighty name of Jesus Christ has been heard, and we join you in laying this heavy burden before the throne of grace.

For two long years you and your household have walked through deep pain and continuous hurdles, with severe medical challenges and hidden burdens that weigh upon body and mind and estate. The Lord knows the fear that has pressed upon you, even the fear that dark spiritual forces seek your harm. He knows the sore that runs in the night and ceases not, and He marks every tear and every sleepless hour. The experience of the Christian is indeed very variable, and the saint is often much tried and bowed, yet the Lord remains your fortress in times of trouble and your healer.

We would remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and for this very conflict God has provided a divine buckler. Knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we ward off the blows of the enemy. The promise stands sure, that He has not forsaken them that fear Him, and He never will do so. His grace shall to the end, stronger and brighter shine, and neither present things nor things to come shall quench the spark divine within the heart of His child, much less quench the fire that burns in His own infinite breast. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His armies, and when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. Your deliverance is by divine power alone, not by your own strength, and therefore it shall be effectual.

You have rightly acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord, the ultimate healer. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His common mercies, His leaves as well as His fruit, are full of virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Pardon and healing are joined together in Him, and when the Lamb was slain the way of deliverance was opened and God declared, I have found a ransom. Look to that ransom, to Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other hand that can pluck you from the pit.

Let us pray with you.

O Lord our God, our fortress and our deliverer, we come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our only hope and ransom. Thou seest this family, their two years of pain, their medical trials, their mental distress and financial straits, and the fear that ungodly powers would break them. We ask Thee to step in on their behalf with Thine outstretched arm. Cover them under Thy wings, set Thy divine buckler about them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Rebuke the spiritual forces of darkness that would oppress them, and make them to know that greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world. Thou who didst exalt the low tree and make the dry tree to flourish, lift up these bowed ones and cause them to rejoice again in the sunlight of Thy love. Thou who art the Lord that healeth us, lay Thy pardoning and healing hand upon their bodies and minds, forgive their sins and heal their sicknesses, and restore them by Thy free grace. Keep them humble and keep them near Thee, and let their deliverance be seen to be of Thee alone, that all the glory may be Thine. Provide for their daily needs, guard their home, and let peace be within their borders.

We commend you to that immutable love which is the divine hammer that breaks the rock in pieces, and which can soften the hardest trial. Wait upon the Lord, keep His way, and trust not in your own strength but in the Divine Architect who creates to display His perfections and who will perfect that which concerneth you. He has not forsaken you as yet, and He will not forsake you to the end.

May the Lord keep you, heal you, and cause His face to shine upon you and your household, and give you songs of deliverance for the night of weeping. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for protection has been heard, and we join with you before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father.

We grieve with you over these two long years of pain, continuous hurdles and severe medical challenges for you and your family. The Lord knows the hidden burdens you carry, the fear that presses on your mind, and the weight that has touched you physically, mentally and financially. He is not distant from your suffering. He is your fortress and your refuge in times of trouble, and His Word reminds us to say, Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you, and I will fear no evil for You are with me.

You are right to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Yet we do not need to live in fear of ungodly powers or thoughts of revenge from others. Scripture teaches that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that the Lord both delivers from the lion's mouth and will deliver from every evil work. He may not always calm the storm at the moment we desire, as He came to His disciples in the fourth watch of the night to teach them to endure with courage, but He does come, He does see you walking on the troubled sea, and He is able to keep you from being overwhelmed.

So we pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer and our strong fortress. We lift this dear family to You. You see the affliction that encompasses them. We ask for Your protection over their bodies, minds and home. Place Your hand upon them and guard them from every work of the enemy. Bring healing where there is sickness, peace where there is fear, and provision where there has been financial breaking. Deliver them not only from present danger but also from every evil work, and keep them from condemnation through Christ. Let them know the deliverance that comes through being clothed with Christ and receiving the Spirit of adoption as Your children. Teach them to rest in Your care, to keep their hearts and tongues in Your truth, to depart from evil and seek Your peace, and to find liberty and security in You alone. Give them endurance to bear what must be borne manfully, and faith to see Your deliverance in Your perfect time. We ask this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer. Amen.

Continue to walk close to the Lord each day through His Word, through prayer in Jesus name, and through fellowship with His people. Fix your mind on His promises rather than on fearful thoughts, remembering that He is your refuge from the affliction that surrounds you. He who has delivered you before is faithful to deliver you still and to supply every good thing you need in Christ.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about these two very hard years for you and your family. The Lord sees the hidden burdens you carry, the medical struggles, the financial and mental strain, and the fear that unseen spiritual forces are seeking to harm you. You are right to bring this to Him as your fortress and healer, and you are right that Scripture says our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness.

In seasons like this fear can grow quickly and become overwhelming. One of the clearest remedies for fear is remembering the Lord Himself. When we forget Him, fear takes hold, but when we remember who He is, that He is present with us, fear loses its grip. As David said, even when I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil for You are with me. The Lord is your light and your salvation, the strength of your life, so you do not need to be afraid. He has promised to be with you in trouble, to hide you and keep you.

The enemy often works through fear because fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed aside, and fear can drive us to make unwise and hasty decisions. Recognize that pressure for what it is and do not let fear dictate your steps. Continue to do what is wise and prudent for your health, your family and your responsibilities, but do it from trust in God rather than from dread of what the enemy might do. If God is your protector, He can keep you wherever you are, and you do not need to hide in panic. You can stand in faith and remember Him.

Your best protection is to stay close to Him and to trust His truth. Scripture describes His truth as a shield and covering, like a bird sheltering its young under its wings. Jesus Himself answered the attacks of the enemy with the truth of God's Word. As you dwell in fellowship with Him, in the secret place of the Most High, He promises His presence, His deliverance, His answer to prayer, and to show you His salvation. The healthy fear we are called to is not dread of the enemy but reverent awe of the Lord, honoring Him, loving what He loves and turning from evil. That kind of fear is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. When you walk in that reverence, Scripture says those who fear Him will lack no good thing He knows you need. He sees your needs and will care for you as you care for your relationship with Him.

I also want to encourage you about healing. God is indeed the healer, and all healing is from His hand. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural processes He has already placed in our bodies and through the care of others. All of it is His work, and it does not follow a single pattern. Please do not carry the false burden that ongoing sickness means you lack faith or that God has turned away. He has not despised the affliction of the afflicted, and when His people cry to Him, He hears.

So I pray for you and your household now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to surround this family with Your presence and peace. Drive away fear and establish faith. Cover them under Your wings and let Your truth be their shield. Guard them physically, mentally and financially, and bring healing according to Your wisdom and mercy. Provide for every need, keep their feet from slipping, and let them know in a deeper way that You are with them in this trouble. Lead them to rest in reverent trust of You, to hate what is evil and to cling to what is good, and to find confidence not in themselves but in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Keep bringing every burden to Him in prayer, stay in His Word, and let remembrance of who He is quiet your heart each day. He is your fortress and He will not forsake those who trust Him.
