Protection

We thank you for sharing your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that God who is strong and mighty in battle will cover you and all who are in need with His keeping power. Christ has gone up on high and led captivity captive, and He came to preach deliverance to the captives and to bring good to His people. In Him there is both deliverance from evil and the supply of every good gift, for through Him we have been brought from under the curse and into adoption as sons.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus to guard you from all harm, to give you wisdom and peace in every trial, and to grant a breakthrough that draws you closer to Him and makes His power known in your life. Even when He does not remove every danger at once, He gives strength to stand above it and teaches us to trust not in this life only but in the better resurrection and the life to come.

We also pray that as you receive His protection, you may be able to share that same care with others, whether by prayer, by practical help, or by speaking a word of encouragement to those who are distressed, remembering that each of us can use what God has given us for the good of our neighbor.

May the Lord keep you, strengthen your faith, and let His deliverance and provision be evident in your life and in the lives of all who are in need. We continue to pray with you for His will to be done and for His peace to remain with you. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all who are in need. God hears that cry and He is faithful to answer.

There is great comfort in knowing what God is like as your protector. Scripture describes Him as a fortress and a place of strength, the One in whom you can trust. When you dwell close to Him, in fellowship in that secret place of the Most High, He covers you. He promises to deliver from the trap of the enemy, like a bird delivered from the snare of one who would catch it, and to cover you as with wings so you can trust under His care. His truth itself becomes your shield and protection against every attack. Jesus showed this when He answered the enemy with the truth of God's Word.

Often the Lord allows His people to come into situations that feel impossible, where there seems to be no way out, in order to show His power to deliver when no human deliverance is possible. He can make a way where there is no way. The deliverance of Israel through the sea is a picture of this. When there was no way forward and no way back, God opened a way and brought them through, and then they sang of how He had triumphed gloriously and thrown the power of the enemy down. That same delivering power is for His people today, and the fear of the Lord still causes the enemy to flee.

His divine power has already given you all that you need for life and godliness through knowing Jesus Christ. As His Word takes root in your heart, it forms His nature in you and brings forth love, joy, peace and strength to stand.

I am praying that you will know that nearness and covering today, that God will be your fortress and shield, that He will deliver you from every trap and make a way where there seems to be no way, and that you will experience His breakthrough. I am praying the same for all who are in need, that they will know His presence in trouble, His answer to prayer, His deliverance and His salvation, and that He will guard and keep each one in His care.
