Protection

Your request for extra strong protection and breakthrough has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord for you and for all who are in need.

We ask God to cover you with His protection, for He is strong and mighty in battle. Christ has gone up on high and led captivity captive, and He came to preach deliverance to captives and recovery of sight to the blind. In Him there is both deliverance from evil and supply of good, for through Him we are brought from under the curse and receive adoption as sons. That is the true breakthrough, to belong to Him and to have His Spirit dwelling in us.

We do not always know how God will work, for sometimes He does not remove the trial but gives strength to stand above it and to despise fear, planting in the heart confidence in the immortality of the soul and in His faithful care. So we pray not only for safety from harm, but for courage, wisdom and steadfast faith in every danger, and for open doors that only God can open.

May the Lord guard you and your household, guard all who are vulnerable and in need, and use you also to extend His protection to others, whether by prayer, by help, by generosity or by a word of encouragement, living for the common good as He enables you.

We continue to pray that you will know His presence, His peace and His power to deliver, and that you will see His breakthrough in the ways that bring lasting good.

Thank you for reaching out with this request for protection and breakthrough. It is good to bring this before the Lord, and He hears when His people call on Him for help.

Often the Lord allows His people to face situations that feel impossible, where there seems to be no way out. He does this so He can show His power to deliver when human help and human answers have run out. He is able to make a way where there is no way. Just as He made a way through the sea for Israel and then they responded with a song of praise for His victory and deliverance, He is still able to bring deliverance and cause fear to fall on the enemy. What looks like a trap to you is not a trap to Him.

Scripture speaks of protection for those who stay close to Him. When you dwell in the secret place of the Most High and live in fellowship with Him, He is your fortress, your strength, and your place of safety. He promises to deliver from the snare of the trapper, to cover you as a bird covers its young under its wings, and to be your shield. That shield is His truth. Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word to stand against the enemy, and you can do the same. Bring His promises and His Word against every attack and every fear.

He has already given you, by His divine power, everything you need for life and godliness, and through knowing Christ and receiving His Word planted in your heart you share in His divine nature. As that Word grows in you it produces His character in your life, love, joy, peace, patience and the other fruit of the Spirit. There is also protection and strength that comes through being joined to other believers, for we are one body and each part helps and guards the others.

I am praying for you now, and for all who are in need, that the Lord will be your protection and your breakthrough. May He surround you as a blanket of covering, keep you in His presence in trouble, answer your prayers, lift you up, and show you His salvation. May He make a clear way forward where you see no way, break through every barrier, and guard you and your loved ones from every snare. May you rest under His wings in complete trust, holding fast to His truth as your shield, and walk in the peace of knowing He is with you. In the name of Jesus, may His deliverance and keeping power be evident in your life and in the lives of all who need Him today.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord asking for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need just as you requested. We have been praying that the Lord would surround you with His presence and keep you safe from harm and that He would open the way for breakthrough in every area where it is needed.

We stand on the promises of His Word that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways as written in Psalm 91:11 and that the Lord is faithful and will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one as written in 2 Thess 3:3.
