Your prayer reflects both deep gratitude and deep burden, and God hears both. You have come asking for covering over your home and your children, and Scripture assures us that He is near to those who call on Him, that His angels encamp around those who fear Him, and that where two or three agree in His name He is present. It is right to plead the blood of Jesus over your household, to ask for His protection over every room and over every heart and mind, and to trust Him for rest that is calm and guarded by His peace.

Thank you for giving thanks for the good gifts He has already given. For your older daughter's promotion, it is right to ask that God would give her wisdom and knowledge and grace to do her work well, and that His light would shine through her so that her work is a blessing to others. For your younger daughter finishing her internship with excellence and for her university acceptance, it is right to ask for guidance as she chooses classes and learns to work faithfully without overextending herself. For your son, it is beautiful to thank God for the healing and the calm you have already seen, for the way He is helping your son use his language to express what he feels and needs, and to keep asking for complete calm over his thoughts and emotions and for rest under the shadow of His wings.

For your older daughter's living arrangement, you are seeing clearly what God has said about His design. Marriage is His creation, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and living together and sharing what belongs within marriage outside of that covenant is not His will and does not lead to blessing. For that reason we do not ask God to bless that arrangement, but we do ask Him to bring clarity, conviction, and deliverance. You described financial exploitation, division, and emotional manipulation, and you are right that those things are not love. Love as God defines it honors, protects, and leads in righteousness.

Scripture shows the difference between a godly bond and an ungodly tie. When Jonathan's soul was knit to David's, it was a bond of selfless love, a covenant rooted in the Lord that strengthened both of them to walk with God. There are other ties that bind a soul in a harmful way, where affection is used to control and to isolate. What you have called an ungodly soul tie is that second kind, and God is able to break it. You also see how a relationship can become a snare when it is entered for selfish reasons, as when Saul offered his daughter to David not to honor God but to trap him, and how desire can masquerade as love, as when Shechem's soul was drawn to Dinah and he spoke tenderly to her yet his actions were driven by lust and possession, and even sacred things were misused to get what he wanted. Those stories remind us that not every strong attraction is love, and that God places such high value on each soul that He calls us to guard our hearts and to walk in His ways.

It is also true that blessed is the one who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. There is a progression from listening to ungodly advice, to standing with those who live that way, to settling down among them. That is why your prayer for your younger daughter is so wise, asking that she not be lured or influenced to follow the same path, and that God would give her godly friendships and guard her mind and body. Your children need more than good advice, they need the power of the Holy Spirit at work in their lives, and your faithful example of seeking God and praying for them is part of how God strengthens them to stand against pressure.

So we pray for your older daughter that the scales would fall from her eyes, that she would see this relationship as it truly is, that she would no longer feel obligated, worthless, or trapped, and that she would hear the Lord calling her as His own to walk away into freedom and faith. We pray that every controlling and deceptive hold would be broken, that her faith, self worth, peace, and gratitude for the family God has given her would be restored, and that she would have courage to step out of what is toxic and dishonest and, if it is safe and wise, to return home. We pray that God would prepare for both of your daughters, in His perfect timing, godly husbands who will love them as Christ loves the church, honor them, and lead them in His ways, and that purity and singleness would be honored until that time.

We also pray as you have asked for this young man and his family. We pray that God would open their eyes to the harm being caused, that the mother would see that encouraging an ungodly lifestyle and using your daughter's finances is not love but selfish manipulation, and that she would turn to care for her own responsibilities and release your daughter from that influence. We pray that the young man would realize he is not ready for the responsibilities of a godly marriage and that his father would step in with wisdom and authority to guide his son back to a path of honesty and responsibility on his own.

For your son, we continue to ask for God's healing and calming presence through the night, for freedom from torment and fear, for dreams filled with comfort and joy, and for the restoration of any relationships that have been strained. For your younger daughter, we ask for protection of her health, her studies, and her future, and for a deep satisfaction in God's peace even when it is painful to see her sister choose this path. For you, we ask for supernatural strength, wisdom, favor, and discernment as you navigate this season with love and truth, and for protection from any hatred or schemes directed at you.

We join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you and your children and your extended family shall prosper, and that every spirit of manipulation, hatred, jealousy, division, and darkness is defeated by the blood of Jesus. We ask for healing from every spiritual attack and word spoken against you, for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to fill your home with love, joy, and peace that surpasses understanding, for restored unity and laughter in your family, and for provision so you can be a blessing to others. God knows how to deliver the righteous even when they feel vexed by what surrounds them, and He values each soul far more than the whole world. Even when life feels like there is but a step between us and great harm, we can boast in the Lord who hears and delivers from all fears.

We trust with you that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him, that He is present as you pray, and that He will bring victory as you stand firm on His promises. May tonight be peaceful, your rest deep, and your hearts guarded in His presence, and may this coming year be marked by His favor, breakthrough, and unexpected mercies. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.
