We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection and breakthrough. Heavenly Father, You are our refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is from You.
Lord, we ask for an extra measure of Your divine protection to surround every person in need. Place Your angels around them, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Let no harm come near their dwelling, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray for breakthrough in every area where there is bondage, oppression, or stagnation. Where the enemy has built strongholds, we declare them torn down in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let every chain be broken.
Father, we also lift up those who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would come to understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the peace and protection that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this is the day of breakthrough. Let Your will be done in every situation, and let Your glory be revealed. We trust in You, our ever-present help, and we thank You for Your faithfulness.

The very plea for "extra strong protection" reveals a soul assailed, and in that hour of felt weakness, the Comforter alone can bear you up amid the floods of tribulation which you are sure to meet with. He helps our infirmity; and with a helper so divinely strong we need not fear for the result. God’s grace will be sufficient for us; his strength will be made perfect in weakness.
This deliverance, this strong protection, comes when the Lamb is slain. You look to a greater ransom than silver and gold, for the clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time had come! It is a gift of Divine Love. And though you feel all strength gone, and that if ever you rise from despondency, you can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to yourself, it must be of Free Grace only, yet He makes their deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings them forth.
You must have joy in the Lord, Brothers and Sisters, if you are to be strong in the Lord and strong for the Lord! The Spirit of God must make it the light and power of God to your soul. Him you must seek, for it is a part of His priestly office to make intercession for His people. "He maketh intercession for the saints." O splendid perseverance of importunity, strong resolve of a forbidden intercession! God forbid that we should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray. Even when the archers of ecclesiastical discord or the black-hearted Sauls of this world cause dread, the Lord gives strong consolation for the strong tribulation.
The best carriage in all the world is Jesus’ bosom, but that is for the lamb, not for those who are strong, but for the tender and frail. Abide there in persistent intercession. You cannot be too thankful for the deliverance from the pit, for nobody would have thought of that way if God had not thought of it! Therefore we will wait for Him who writes intercession upon our hearts and who alone can give the breakthrough. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom."

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. You ask for protection and breakthrough, but consider where true strength lies. When the disciples saw the multitude and said, “Whence should we have so many loaves in a wilderness?” they forgot the One who stood before them. So often we look at our need and despair, yet He brings us to urgent entreaty precisely to show His power. Do not measure the battle by your own resources. He who is able to save to the uttermost ever lives to intercede for you; not once, but continually. There is your protection: not in a momentary shield, but in the perpetual high-priestly work of Christ. He has no successor and no weakness, so He is able to aid all who come to God by Him.
Breakthrough comes when we learn that we are members of one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of thee.” You are not alone, and the very parts that seem weak are granted greater honor. This mutual need is your strength. He led captivity captive and gave gifts among men, dividing the spoils of the strong. The enemy you face is already vanquished; what you need is the armor of righteousness. The body is not evil, but may be made a weapon for the fight. Stand, then, with a noble spirit and obey the Commander who never fails.
Yet take heed: in times of distress, many shall come saying, “I am Christ,” and seek to deceive. Do not look for protection in novelties or human commendation. We need no epistle of praise; your very faith is a living letter, known and read. If Christ is interceding, what further commendation do you require? God, who had no need of us, created us out of sheer goodness. He will not abandon you now. Therefore seek the breakthrough not in signs only, but in the teaching that transforms the mind. Paul conquered the world not by miracles alone, but by powerful thoughts rooted in Scripture. Arm yourselves with that same mind, and you will see the deliverance He brings.
