True protection and genuine breakthrough are found not in our own resources but in the name of the Lord, which is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe. When you ask for extra strong protection, you are asking to dwell in that high, fortified place of defense where the enemy cannot prevail. He who delivered Israel with a strong hand and made a way through the sea is the same God who makes a path where there seems to be none. When circumstances look like an impossible trap, He can send the blast of His own power to open a way of escape. Run into that tower now by trusting completely in His character and His promises, not in your own understanding or strength.
Yet Scripture also shows us a trap we often overlook. The law reveals that the strong desire itself, the coveting, the lust that wars within, is sin long before it ever becomes an outward act. There is a need for breakthrough not only in outward situations but in the hidden chambers of the heart. The Spirit searches the heart and knows the deep groanings there, the inner battles we cannot even articulate. He makes intercession for you according to the will of God. And Jesus Christ Himself, risen and at the right hand of the Father, ever lives to make intercession for you. He is not condemning you. He has accepted the full debt and presents you as a cleansed son or daughter. That is the unshakable ground of your defense.
As you pray for all who are in need, remember that history teaches a repeated lesson. Many begin strong, trusting in the Lord during crisis like Asa facing a million strong enemy, but later, when they grow strong and prosperous, they begin to trust in their own riches and devices. The true strong tower is not your ability, wisdom, or past victories. It is the Lord alone. Keep your confidence placed entirely in Him, in season and out, so that the breakthrough that comes does not become a snare of self-reliance.
In this world that constantly pressures and corrupts, you are called to stand within divine order. The Spirit helps our infirmities, guarding us from being vexed into compromise like Lot, whose living in the midst of corruption cost him dearly. A strong spiritual example, a life hid with Christ in God, is vital not only for your own sake but for those under your care. Persevere in intercessory prayer, bringing the needs of your household, this community, and all who are crying out before the throne of grace. The One who spared not His own Son will freely give you all things, and His intercession is your ultimate and eternal guarantee of protection and deliverance.
