Protection

The request for extra strong protection reveals a soul aware of the great warfare at hand. And rightly so, for we need strong armor and a noble spirit, and above all we need our Commander who stands ever ready to help. He is unconquerable and has furnished us with strong arms, yet we must have a purpose of mind to handle them as we should. The protection you seek is not the absence of danger, but the presence of the Captain of our salvation leading us through the battle.

Consider how our Lord Himself, in the days of His flesh, offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard. And if the Son of God learned the depths of trust through what He suffered, how much more must we, His beloved children, press into this same strong crying? Your prayer, joined with tears and a fervent spirit, ascends not into an indifferent void but before the very throne of grace.

As for breakthrough, remember what truth does. Truth, though she takes hold but of ordinary men, makes them appear glorious; falsehood, even though it be with the strong, shows them weak. The sound of the Gospel, trumpeted in faith, dashed to the earth the devil’s strongholds. That same power is yours in Christ. The victory He won, leading captivity captive and dividing the spoils of the strong, is now worked out in your own life. Do not look for a quiet, easy deliverance. Look for the Commander to arm your soul with such conviction that the very gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

Do not let your prayer be alone. Let no one say, I have but one talent and can do nothing. For you are not poorer than that widow, nor more uninstructed than the apostles. Contribute your diligence and protection for your neighbor’s advantage. Nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common good. As you ask for a breakthrough for all in need, make your own life an arm of righteousness for them. This is the strong protection: a body of believers wielding the armor of light together, their Commander at the head, strong and mighty in battle.

You have asked for extra strong protection and breakthrough, and the cry of your heart finds a deep echo in the way God has always moved among His people. Think of the night the blood of the lamb was painted on doorposts. That token was not merely symbolic; it was the seal that turned away destruction. The only safety, the only salvation, came through that blood, applied by faith. When you pray for strong protection, you are leaning into the same reality: there is a shelter that cannot be breached, secured by a sacrifice that speaks better things. In Christ, you already bear that mark, and no force can separate you from it. So let your trust rest there, not as a vague wish but as a settled confidence.

Breakthrough often looks different than we imagine. Israel cried out under a heavy yoke, and God answered with a strong hand. He did not simply nudge Pharaoh into reluctant compliance; He stiffened the ruler’s heart so that the deliverance would be unmistakable. That phrase “strong hand” appears again and again, both for the stubborn grip of Egypt and for the irresistible power that finally drove the people out. When you face walls of opposition or seasons where nothing seems to budge, remember that the Lord sometimes allows resistance to be made strong so that His own strength shines more brilliantly. He will either turn the heart of the opposition or remove it entirely, but the outcome is never in doubt.

I hear the longing for breakthrough as well as protection. Psalm after psalm and account after account remind us that the God who parts seas can clear a path through any tangle of circumstances. He sent a fierce east wind all through the night, piling up waters into a wall and exposing dry land. Whether the obstacle is a shallow marsh or a deep current, the wonder is the same: what stood in the way becomes the very road to freedom. He can turn a seemingly immovable barrier into a corridor of deliverance. And if you find yourself in a wilderness season right now, where breakthrough tarries, take heart. The wilderness is not abandonment. It is the place where faith is strengthened and deepened, precisely because untested faith would falter in the battles ahead. God knows what you need before you can face the next fight, and He will not rush you into it until your footing is sure.

So pray boldly for that extra measure of protection and breakthrough. And as you do, anchor your soul in this: the same strong hand that once shattered chains in Egypt now upholds you. He is making you strong in the very place where you feel weak, and He will cause even what seems hardest to work toward your deliverance. May you see His mighty arm bared on your behalf, and may every closed door before you become a monument to His unfailing faithfulness.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for divine protection and breakthrough—not only for your own life but for all who are in need. It is our joy to lift these burdens before the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

If God has moved mightily in your situation, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report! Please share how He has shielded, delivered, or opened doors so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and the breakthrough feels distant, we invite you to post this request again. We remain committed to interceding alongside you, believing that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind as you continue to seek Him. We pray that His angels would encamp around you and that every chain would be broken in the powerful name of Jesus. Keep pressing in—He is working even when we cannot see it. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
