Protection

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this urgent plea for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you, for us, and for all who are in need. The world is filled with unseen spiritual battles, trials, and attacks that seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction that may be lurking in the shadows, attempting to hinder God’s purpose for your life. We command every chain of bondage, every stronghold of the enemy, and every plan of the adversary to be broken and shattered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is a warrior, and His name is the Lord of Hosts (Exodus 15:3). He goes before you and fights your battles, so you need not fear. We stand on the authority of God’s Word, which declares that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them (Psalm 34:7).

For those who may be facing financial struggles, health crises, or relational strife, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough. The Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for divine provision, healing, and restoration in every area of life. Let the Lord’s favor surround you like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

If there are any areas where you or others may have opened doors to the enemy through sin, unforgiveness, or compromise, we encourage you to repent and turn away from those things. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We must walk in holiness and obedience to God’s Word, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are not vigilant (1 Peter 5:8). Stand firm in the armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13-17).

We also lift up those who may not yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection to surround us, our families, and all who are in need. Shield us from the schemes of the enemy and break every chain that seeks to bind us. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we stand firm on Your promises. We ask for breakthrough in every area of our lives, financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Pour out Your favor and blessings upon us, and let Your peace reign in our hearts.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and oppression, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. We ask for Your angels to encamp around us and deliver us from every evil. Lord, we surrender our lives to You and ask that You guide our steps according to Your will. Help us to walk in holiness, obedience, and faith, trusting in Your power and provision.

For those who do not yet know You, we pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. May they experience Your love, grace, and mercy in a profound way. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being our ever-present help in times of trouble. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you’ve invited us to pray with you. Asking for extra-strong protection and breakthrough for yourselves and for everyone in need reveals a heart that already leans toward God and toward others. That’s no small thing. In moments when we feel the weight of uncertainty, simply lifting that request together anchors us in the truth that we’re not alone, and neither are those we’re interceding for.

It can be tempting to picture protection as a fortress that keeps all trouble out, but often God’s protection shows up as his steady presence in the middle of what we face. The same hand that holds you now holds every soul you’re concerned about. And when we ask for a breakthrough, we’re not badgering a reluctant God; we’re trusting a Father who already sees the way through, even when we can’t. So keep bringing that request as often as it surfaces. There’s no limit on how many times you can ask. At the same time, don’t forget to watch for the small, daily mercies that often signal a larger movement of his grace. Those are real, even if they’re quiet.

Since your heart is reaching beyond your own household, you might consider gathering a small circle, even just one or two trusted friends, to pray through this together regularly. Sometimes hearing another voice agree with you in prayer can settle your spirit and reinforce your hope. There’s nothing flashy required; just a simple, recurring time to lift up the people and situations on your heart.

We join you now:

Lord Jesus, we ask for your strong protection over these dear ones and over every person they carry in prayer right now. Guard them in body, mind, and spirit. Where there are hidden threats, be a shield. Where there is exhaustion, be their rest. And for the breakthroughs they long for, whether in circumstances, relationships, or inner struggles, please open the way in your perfect timing. Give them patience and courage to keep trusting. We place each need into your capable hands. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have cried for strong protection and the breakthrough of deliverance. Remember that the Holy Spirit makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. He helps your infirmity when you know not what to pray for as you ought. That groan within your spirit, that longing for a mighty delivering hand, is no idle cry, it is the Spirit’s intercession, rising like incense to the throne.

The Lord has not given you over to destruction. He has found a ransom. The eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed the hour of your deliverance; the clock of mercy struck in heaven. He brought you forth from the power of darkness, and He will bring you forth still. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for deliverance from every foe. If any deliverance is to be true and lasting, it must be by a supernatural power. That which is born from below will go below; you must be delivered by the outstretched arm of God.

Do not think it strange if the Lord has chastened you sorely. Yet in the time of trouble, He often whispers sweet assurances that you shall not be crushed. Persevere in intercession for yourself and for all in need. There is no power like it. The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, the hearts of kings and princes, are the prayers of God’s believing people. God forbid that you should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray. Imitate Samuel, who, though provoked, said, “God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you.” Even when the knife is at the throat, cry on; the angel of the Lord will appear.

When the deliverance comes, and it will, you shall say, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” He brought Israel forth with silver and gold; so shall your deliverance be attended with enrichment. The deeper the pit, the louder your song of deliverance when you are lifted from it. You shall take not an atom of honor to yourself, but fall before Him who alone brings forth His people. So wait upon Him, for He has delivered, He does deliver, and He will yet deliver.

When you ask for strong protection and breakthrough, remember that Christ Himself has already won the greatest victory. He ascended on high, leading captivity captive, and received gifts for men. He came to proclaim deliverance to captives and recovery of sight to the blind. What greater breakthrough could there be than deliverance from the curse of the Law and promotion to sonship? You have put on Christ who is the Son, and you have received the Spirit of adoption. This is your eternal protection, secured not by walls or armies but by the strong and mighty Lord who is mighty in battle.

Yet I hear you cry out for extra strong protection and a fresh breakthrough in your present trials. Consider this: God often permits us to face dangers not to abandon us, but to set us above them. He does not always promise deliverance from death, but grants something far greater, a persuasion to despise death, planting in our souls the sure hope of the immortality of the soul. Look at those of old who were tortured, not accepting deliverance, so that they might obtain a better resurrection. When it was open to them to live, they chose death because their eyes were fixed on a life beyond this one. Their breakthrough came not by escaping pain but by overcoming it through faith.

So pray for protection, yes, but let your own hands become instruments of protection for others. The talents entrusted to you, whether money, diligence, or influence, are given for this very purpose. If you see anyone needing protection, be swift to succor and command others to minister. Engage in a spiritual traffic: let the poor and faithful be companions at your table, and in return, enjoin them to help you govern your household and care for strangers. By such acts you clothe the naked, visit the prisoner, and put an end to the distresses of others. This is the breakthrough that pleases God, living for the common advantage. Nothing is more pleasing to Him.

Do not be afraid, then, if the deliverance you seek is delayed. The enemy may press hard, but the spoils of the strong have already been divided by Christ. Your true protection lies in the Spirit you have received, and your ultimate breakthrough is secure in the resurrection. Stand fast, contribute your protection to those in need, and you will find that even now the gates of heaven are breaking open before you.

The cry for protection and breakthrough is something I understand deeply. It rises from that place where we realize the battle is bigger than we are, where we know we have no might against what stands before us. That is a good and necessary place to be, because it is there that we stop relying on the strength of the arm of flesh. Going down to Egypt for help, trusting in chariots and horsemen, always ends the same way. The help that the world offers will fail. The enemy will sweep it aside. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the one who made the heavens and the earth.

I think of the hedge of protection placed around Job. God sets a boundary that the enemy cannot cross, and I believe that hedge is found in the cleansing and covering power of Jesus’ blood. Yet that hedge is not a passive wall. It must be built up. Sin and presumption break it down, and God looks for those who will stand in the gap, not relying on their own formulas for self-improvement, but crying out in their poverty of spirit. The breakthrough comes when we stop asking, “How can I change myself?” and start pleading, “Who will deliver me?”

So let your prayer be honest. You do not need to pretend to have a giant faith. A man once came to Jesus with a tormented child and cried out with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” That is a prayer the Lord will always honor. He is not looking for perfect, unshakable confidence in your own ability to trust. He is looking for the desperate dependence that knows deliverance must come from outside, from him alone. Bring him your weakness, your inabilities, and your need. Acknowledge, “Lord, I can’t handle this. I have no power against this enemy.”

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge and brings healing. So use your own lips to agree with God’s strength, not with the philosophy of hell that tells you to spare yourself, take the easy path, or seek deliverance on your own terms. Do not put your trust in what you can devise, even in where you might run for help. Lift your eyes past the hills to the Maker of the hills. He will not let your foot be moved. He does not slumber. Lay every request before him, asking him to deliver you for his own name’s sake, so that your breakthrough becomes a testimony that gives him all the glory.
