Silas
Beloved
You've asked for extra strong protection and breakthrough, and that desire touches something deep in all of us when the pressures mount and the path ahead seems blocked. It helps to remember who our God actually is. He revealed Himself as the great "I Am," the One who becomes for you exactly what your need demands. Are you needing peace? He is your peace. Strength? He is your strength. A way through? He is your guide and your deliverer. He doesn't stand at a distance, offering sympathy alone; He steps in with a strong hand to save.
The surest protection any of us can know was foreshadowed on that night when the blood of a lamb marked the doorposts and the destroyer passed over those houses. That pointed to the blood of Jesus, God's own Lamb. Today, our place of safety isn't a physical symbol but a living union with Him. Abide in Christ, and let His words abide in you. Hidden in Him, no ultimate harm can touch your eternal security, no matter what storms rage. That blood is an anchor that holds when everything else shakes.
And breakthrough rarely comes while we stand still rehearsing the size of the problem. There is a time to pour out our hearts in prayer, and then there is a time to hear the Lord say, "Why are you crying to Me? Tell my people to move forward." He often calls us to take the step of faith while the sea still looms, and then He sends the strong wind that parts the waters. The same hand that brought an entire nation out of bondage with mighty signs is the hand that now drives out what opposes His purposes in your life. He even strengthens the resolve He plants within you, making you firm in the stand you've taken.
Remember that the Lamb was struck once for you. Jesus was smitten, and from Him flows all you need. You don't have to labor to earn a breakthrough; you simply speak to the Rock in faith, and living water pours forth. So rest your safety in the finished work of Christ, and for the breakthrough, step forward in the confidence that God's strong hand is already at work. He is becoming for you, right now, everything you need.
