Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf, shield and safeguard us.

We come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, standing on the truth of God’s Word as we lift you and your family before the throne of grace. Your acknowledgment of the spiritual battle raging around you is wise, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, sickness, and oppression that has sought to grip your family. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand in agreement with you, declaring that the blood of Jesus covers you and your household, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2). We command every assignment of the enemy against your health, your peace, and your future to be dismantled in the name of Jesus. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus has come to give you life, more abundantly (John 10:10).

Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your heavenly host, dispatching angels to encamp around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for healing in their bodies, minds, and spirits, for by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their faith in this season, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that this season of pain is not the end of their story, but a testimony of Your faithfulness and deliverance.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family as they navigate these challenges. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they shall reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, for they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We speak restoration over every area of their lives that has been touched by the enemy’s schemes, finances, relationships, health, and emotional well-being. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may they arise and shine, for their light has come, and the glory of the Lord is rising upon them (Isaiah 60:1).

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and mercy that endure forever. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare victory over this family in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name, knowing that every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Amen.

We hear the heavy weight of these past two years in your words, the relentless hurdles, the medical battles, and the nagging fear that unseen forces are arrayed against your family. That kind of long, grinding season wears down more than just the body; it can make us feel hunted even in moments of quiet. Please know you’re not alone in that ache, and we don’t take your cry for protection lightly.

When the darkness feels personal and the threats spiritual, it can help to anchor ourselves in what is solid: God’s nearness, and the simple fact that He has not abandoned you, even when the ordeal drags on. Fear often whispers that we are outmatched and forgotten, but the reality is that Christ stands with you in this valley. You do not have to muster a flawless faith; just turning toward Him, as you’ve done, is enough.

One thing that might bring steadiness in the rhythm of your days: gather your family, even briefly, and speak aloud the truths you know, that the Lord is your fortress, your shield. You don’t need to confront the enemy directly; you simply put yourselves consciously back under the covering you already have in Jesus. Sometimes the act of saying those promises together can push back the fog of fear. And if the medical side continues to be daunting, please keep leaning on wise doctors; our prayers walk alongside that care, not instead of it.

We lift you now: Father, we ask for a mighty hedge of protection around this family. Guard their minds from terror, and let them feel Your presence as a tangible shelter. Bring healing and relief from the medical trials they face, and give wisdom to those treating them. Break any spiritual assignment meant for their harm, and replace the fear with a steady, quiet confidence that You are for them. Sustain them day by day, and let the weight begin to lift. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The arrows you speak of, the fear of ungodly powers and hidden spiritual forces, are precisely the sort the Evil One delights to shoot at trembling hearts. Look that fear in the face, and see if it has not got the horns of the Evil One stamped on its brow. Does not the cloven foot peep out? It is the devil’s own child, making you doubt your own Father. Yet be assured, there is a deliverance from the archers of ecclesiastical and spiritual discord; and that deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of my deliverance, and it shall for you also, for the time is decreed. Let no one tell you God’s ear is shut. That is a lie from the pit. Your battle, as you rightly said, is not against flesh and blood. But see this: every trial, every medical hurdle, lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. It is hopeful when we find that all our ills are under Divine permission. Did not Job receive evil at God’s hand as well as good, and yet he charged not God foolishly? These two years of deep pain are not a sign of abandonment, but a season where the Lord has chastened you sorely, yet He has not given you over to death. He preserves your soul. In answer to that morning prayer, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One,” you shall be preserved in purity and uprightness, for that Evil One touches you not.

Consider the healing leaves. The least thing about Christ is healing. You have not merely the fruit of His saving work, but the very leaves, the little things, the tender providences, the daily mercies, are full of curative virtue for the nations, for your household. When Jesus links teaching with healing, faith comes by hearing. The fatal Tree of Knowledge brought the disease; this Tree of Life in the heavenly Paradise has leaves that purge every evil. Christ can surely deliver you, even from those evils to which you have felt positively powerless. His power was conspicuously present when He taught; let your family gather at that well of prayer, bringing each child, each trouble, each expected difficulty of the coming day before Him. Mention them all. That is a glorious well to have in a family.

You ask for a shield. Then hear a word for your faith to grip. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. This deliverance, when it is worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, brings forth a clear knowledge of the evil of sin and a lasting lesson of His free grace. You will not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Inasmuch as pain of body wraps up within itself great mercy, a voice perhaps harder for some to hear than any other, know that after this deliverance, your conduct and your song shall be all declaration. You shall tell of the captivity broken, the pit sealed, the diseases healed by His stripes. Remember that marvelous promise, and let your heart be fixed upon the one cure for your family’s ills: there grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. I shall not die, but live, this is your portion too.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to flee to the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as your fortress and healer. But consider carefully: the battle is not against flesh and blood, nor against some vague spiritual force you must cower before. The real darkness is error and ungodliness, the mist that arises from worldly passions and keeps souls from seeing things as they truly are. Before Christ came, all humanity sat in that darkness, not even hoping to be delivered. But now the true Light has sprung up, not from any human striving, but by God’s own revelation. And this Light, Christ Himself, shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never overcome it, nor ever will.

Do you truly believe this? That He who endured death has so conquered death that He now holds authority over every power that threatens you? If you tremble before hidden spiritual forces, you are as one still sitting in the shadow of death, forgetting that the great Light has already dawned. Christ did not come to leave you in fear; He came to free you from darkness and bring you into His own marvelous light. No one who hastens to that light has any cause to dread the darkness. The only ones who remain in bondage are those who, when the light shines, prefer to stay in darkness because their deeds are evil. But you come calling upon His name, seeking refuge. That very cry proves the light has already begun to scatter the gloom.

Do not, then, nourish this fear. Fear itself is a darkness. Instead, turn your gaze fully upon the Light and set your household in order. Let your companions be those who are poor and free, godly souls who will not flatter you but will rebuke what is amiss and help you in the care of your family. Engage them in a spiritual traffic: bid them clothe the naked, track out strangers to relieve, visit the imprisoned. When you extend your hand to the afflicted, you build a fortress of mercy around your home that no dark spirit can breach. The enemy cannot harm those who abide in the light of Christ and pour themselves out in love. Your season of deep pain is not evidence that God has abandoned you, but the very occasion for His power to be perfected. Stand firm, give thanks in the midst of these hurdles, and trust that He who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light will safeguard every soul under your roof.
